Big question indeed. This is in fact where Peter Andrews' expertise comes in - being able to read the landscape, and build these structures where they do the most good, for the least amount of investment. We have put several large (which Peter did) and several small (which I did myself) and they've all worked, but his worked better than mine.

Thank you for posting this, how would a typical farmer make decisions on the placement of the leaky weirs, big question hey?
