Nice work- One thing that I find hard about this solo is the quick part that starts at :50.. you can fudge it with triplet pulloffs (5-6-8,5-6-8 on the high E), but if you watch Richie and listen close, he's really playing four notes (5-6-8-8,5-6-8-8) meaning you've got to pick that second 8. Hard stuff for me anyway.

You would make Ritchie proud! Very nice job. I learned this solo 30 years ago and I still like hearing it. One nice one to try is the solo on the song Aqualung by Ian Anderson. It is not as fast as this one but loads of fun and so very lyrical. It is a beautiful solo. I think you would like it.
