  • John loved sushi and so do I...its true you get to eat, get full but it doesnt put you to sleep, right on JL!

  • At 0,51 the slide guitarist plays Jeff Beck's"Beck's Bolero" in the background!Anyone else noticed that?

  • Good! God!

  • I'm not putting down John Lennon's singing or anything, I love his singing. But it makes me feel good to know that the amazing vocalists we here on the amazing Beatles records have obviously been pieced together and they're not really some amazing vocalists sent from heaven and are able to sing in perfect key all the time.

  • I just want sashemi!

  • it's my imagination or they got some of the "final cut" from this take....

  • Miss Teresa Teng has transcended her Earthly realm and resides amongst ethereal Beings on high; interspersed in the star-shine that brings life. Upon rocks we teeter because our feet are flat, our flat-footedness adds nothing to the pursuit of all things level.

  • That boogie instrumental part could go on for 10 bars....;-) Love it

  • I'd like to hear John play the drums

  • Love this song. One of his most catchy.

  • I am not sure if you play guitar or any instrument at all, but the chords to I'm Stepping Out are exactly the same as Let It Be (among other songs). The chorus is different, but the intro to both Let It Be and I'm Stepping Out is C - G - Am - F

  • @NeilFraudstrong You are Correct with this Sir!!!

  • Mind Games is also exactly the same as I'm Stepping Out and Let It Be, but it is tweaked ever so slightly. The root chords are still C - G - Am - F though, but instead of being major chords they're like C - G6 - Am - C/G

  • Not "exactly", the F is not a bog standard F. there's a name for the chord, I'm playing it at the moment hehe but I can't remember what it's called

  • @nunobits12

It's just an inversion of F major. The chord he plays instead of the proper F major (133211) is (xx7565) which is still F major.

  • at 1:37, you will not get that chord by playing 133211 or xx7565

i understand maybe there is more than one guitarist playing but I'm talking about if someone plays the song themselves and they want to be accurate, they will have to change it up a bit, play different voicings 'n' stuff.

  • pianojohn113 does a very good tutorial of let it be using F MAJOR 7 & F MAJOR 6 in the song.

  • I love how he's like "You want some? Two orders, then!... Three?... Okay, four..."

  • dude, listening to this was just awsome! keep up the good work

  • love it so much. thanks for posting

  • This means I don't get to eat!!Sushi(etc).Yuk.

Brilliant song;after that great studio banter.

  • I wish I could hear Yoko calling out for the take out food! This is the kind of studio info i've been waiting to hear regarding Double Fantasy. Just the Lennon's being themselves. I wonder if Yoko ever ordered some pizza from Domino's?? lol.

  • I love when he says, "Say who it's for! Yoko Ono, not me!"

  • I'm honoured to find these first! Just read your profile and I am pleased you will keep adding.
