  • My expert uncle told me it was a giant grouper. We may never know.

  • This incident reminds me of my encounter with the same fish several years ago. I couldnt reel it in because as I pull it nearer to the wooden wharf, it dived away. This fish took the bate, a whole sotong at midnight while we were resting and not paying attention to the rods. Those days Pulau Ubin still had a few private wooden kampong houses next to the seaside.

  • ปลาพ่องดิ ติดหิน ชัดๆ

  • sangkutlah bodoh!

  • Lol!!!! Yeah. We all could feel the flutter at the end diggin downwards. Being novices, we got real excited!!! Any way I gave up and gave a real hard yank and my main line broke. Later I was advised to drop small weights to the end of the line to agitate that thing at the other end!!!

  • there is a point when a man must give up the fight and admit to himself...i'm fighting a big rock

  • You have stuck your hook underneath instead of a fish.

  • enganchado en el fondo

  • it was the lockness monster! i would of just set the drag and fought that thing for a hour

  • big fish

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Thats what i wanna see. Someone reeling a fish in and no fish to see

  • That is a one bendy rod you've got there mate.

  • lucky nobody fell into the sea....

  • does anyone get that stringrays go straight for the bottom and will use their suction to cling to the bottom. unless you have a heavy fast action rod most of the time the stingray wont come undone. so ya technically its stuck but its not so stfu. its stuck blaaaaah this sucks blaaah obviously youve never hooked a stingray before.

  • That stuck!!! if fish, it already move around....

  • lol dumb , got stuck liao la , lame u like that pull lead line sure break !!!

  • Tis place i noe, its grouper spot at dat corner, 1st time i went there, 1 out of 5 grouper i manage to pull up, the rest just went back inside the corals n rocks n its all stuck, waste of time to wait..

  • The longest / heaviest fish i caught with my dad is weigh around 6kg , a Catfish . But we threw back where they belong

  • i think the hook hook on some rope.

  • LOL! THE KID DAMN CUTE... LIKE A CAPTAIN... "DAMN THATS A BIG ONE" WITH HIS CUTE VOICE :)

  • wooo.... U bending...

  • Lol ever heard of drag?

  • @TheMetalJig Exactly

  • At first that was what my friends and I thought, but we kept feeling wriggling on the other end and I cranked the line in and as it came towards me , it went straight down. Hence I thought it was a ray as that is what rays do, dig down. thought

  • it can't be a fish or ray on that line.....it must have hook a stone or rock ....the rod didnt show any movement of pulling you see it bend cause from the small boy change to a higher guy so the rod look like the fish puul's it...cheers!

  • Yup. My 25 lbs line broke. Thank god rod did not break.

  • Powerful bro...

  • At a fish farm/kelong off ubin.

  • where,s this place??mind telling me?/
