@MusicWorksLA No it teaches pentatonics which is probably the most important thing in lead playing yeah it's basic, but it's something every player uses no matter their skill level, and it's not "all about the rock" there are tons of other styles of guitar playing for example I'm primarily a funk guitarist, but I'm also a teacher, and because of that I have to know how to play every style to adequately teach my students, which is why guitar world is good because their lessons cover everything.
