Came here because I listened to Zimmer's "Pirates" score and felt like returning to the point at which Zimmer started cashing in on the waltz thing (which, I might say, he has more right to do than anyone else, since it seems he invented the thing, speaking scorewise *g*). Much as I love Zimmer's work, I feel people who like Zimmer's work should give a listen to some of the people Zimmer no doubt adores, too - like, for instance, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams and the likes.
