  • I kind of want to hear individual versions of all these mashups... though I don't know if they would work as full songs. Perhaps some only work at the parts that were used.

  • Thumbs up if you think he should of been hire to make Sonic Generations end Credic Song

  • @Novablast257 spelled credict wrong

  • So sonic blast 3 will be made eventually?

This is amazing btw. I almost never switch off of it when it comes up on my Ipod lol

  • Shit just got real....

  • fave part 1:50 - 2:01

  • Youtube should really put a "love" button because I can't like more than one time

  • Is it me or did I hear twinkle park at one point... loving the white jungle music!!!!!!

  • This should have been in generation!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude Sonic Generations is coming soon any chance you could like mash-up all the music that's gonna be in the game?

  • Sky Sanctuary and Mission Street made me cry because they really combined so well! Really!

  • This is the best Sonic fanmade anything song I've heard, I would love to see a Sonic Blast 3. It really blew my mind. I've heard every single one of the songs played growing up and to my present day and it was just wow

  • HE PUT A LINK TO EVERY SONG YESSSSSSSS!!!!

  • 1:45 = :D

  • So epic I couldnt resit putting it on my mp3 player :3

  • You should try Oil Ocean + Sandopolis ... I'm not sure which key they are in, but the melodies are both built off of the harmonic minor scale, so it might work

  • Wow, Sonic must be hitting the night clubs big time.

BTW, Eggman, Snively, Mammoth Mogul, Nagus, Finitivus, Eggma Nega, and Scourge hit the dislike button. LOL

  • mind fucking blow

  • Holy Shit this it one epic as shit sonic mashup colab song

  • you are truly something special

  • i noticed there's one difference between the video and the download

the end here is from sonic cd title screen while the download's end is the sonic 4 title screen

  • Say that the last level before the final boss in Sonic Generations is a collision of all the levels in the game in some kind of subspace area. This could be the music for it! The song would change depending on what part of the level you're in!

  • I liked the part where he mixed music together.

  • WOW! I love it.

Please could you extedn the bit where Sonic 2s boss theme is playing with Sonic 3's and Sonic Adventure's. I would so love you fro that.

    PS i subbed

  • WOW,just WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • And I jizzed, in...my pants.

  • With music like this, They have rave parties at knothole! Lol

As was the rest of the video....

    5/5 + Fav

  • WAY PAST COOL !!!

  • white jungle is sum craaaazy Drum n Basss!!!!

  • this should be the main theme for project needlemouse, it is the perfect mash up of all of the music in past sonic games, well done

  • I get the feeling Project Needlemouse is going to be fail... you just can't make Sonic fans happy anymore... =(

  • Well, not the real stubborn ones amyway (like the 2D fanboys).

  • I know the stubborn ones are bitching about Sonic's eye coloring: Green. There like noz fuckz youz segaz i'm not buying bcz sonic eyes are not black like the classics.

Believe me i read a lot of posts off of Sonic Stadium.

  • I read a comment just like that.

  • Project Needlemouse Has Been Comfirmed As Sonic 4 So How Can It Fail?

  • Because Sonic fans will still rant about it. If you've seen the trailers, people are already ranting about it being in Episodes, and because of his run.

  • 1 word epicness

  • NICE!! Most people just mix two songs and don't do a very good job at it, but you mixed music from all over the franchise and on top of that made it sound GOOD!!! I LUV THIS!!! It's like a trip through the entire Sonic era! Can't help but listen to it in the car!!

  • Very nice done.

    +Fav / 5*

  • The best part of this entire music mash up is when Huge Crisis and the Boss theme (from sonic 2 game gear) kicks in. It's very catchy. Awesome job, with this and the sequel.

  • I know, right? Some fag commented on this video and said that's the WORST part.

  • Heh, no taste in music I guess. Just keep doing what you are doing. I hope to see a 3rd one of these mash ups later this year. Awesome job!

  • Comment removed

  • @BoyleVoices Idunno, the chemical plant part was pretty awesome.

  • 1:40 is so damn awesome!

  • Epic WIN!!!

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SONIC EARGASM!!!!!!!!!!

Also, bonus points for creating a piece of music that transcends various generations of Sonic. You, n00neimp0rtant, are made of win! d^_^b

  • lol. There's a sequel too if you're interested

  • Linked to Sonic OC and it's not rage-inducing but in fact enjoyable. I'm pleasantly surprised.

  • Excellent work on this mashup! You're an inspiration to us all. My only complaint would be the use of Palmtree Panic at 2:43. Not that I don't like the song, but the rhythm involved seems to conflict with the overall beat of the song.

  • The transitions, the songs used, and VERY (and I mean VEEEERY) small mistakes in timing. I'm putting both versions on my Zune!

  • Zune? I am disappoint.

  • Now i don't feel like putting it on there DX

  • Made on a Mac

  • Tremendously superb!! :D

    5/5!!

  • Why is it that everyone who subscribes to me has "Sonic" in his/her username?

    Oh wait

  • Because he's awesome! LOL! :)

  • I'm not surprised.. You won this as the "Theme Song" of the Sonic Stadium forums =P

  • Huh?

  • The most epic mix in Sonic History...

  • What program did you mix these songs in? Because this is amazing.

  • EPIC! think you could do one of these log ones like this using the best music from the kingdom hearts series

  • lets face it...MOST OF THE FREAKING SONIC GAMES SONGS HAVE THE SAME EXACT BEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if there is one thing no one can argue with is that the sonic games have always had great music

  • think i love you..

  • This is officially my new favorite Sonic song ever. I'm not sure if this is bad or not but I'm pretty obsessed with Sonic games and have been for a good 15 years. Being my normal self I was bored and googled "something awesome about sonic" low and behold this came up.

  • agreeing with you. I said that Rush feels better than the classics. But it needs more classic level designs because the levels in the classics were definately better.

  • OH. or or. Werehog battle theme. Jazzy ftw?

  • I'm quite certain my sister would murder me for using ANY werehog music. That shit was NOT Sonic music.

Possibly the battle theme though. As long as I can find something it goes well with.

  • Wow, that game gear at about 5:30 brought back good memories

  • Expect to hear a LOT more Game Gear in number 2. =]

  • It'd be REALLY awesome if you threw in Werehog's Empire City music from Unleashed. You gotta admit, that track was REALLY somethin and I think you could do something really cool with it.

But I'm sure whatever you pick will be just as awesome. You've already shown that with this one.

  • --That would make for a great Sonic game.

  • Best part? The Spagonia section onwards, I just can't help but smile through that section! ^_^

  • Thank you for this comment. That really made me happy. That's exactly what I was going for. I planned the ending to be entirely in B flat (since B flat is the most powerful and epic key), and so I intentionally set Spagonia up for that.

I'm so happy to see my intents come through properly. Let's hope that such occurs with the intro of Sonic Blast! 2.

  • @n00neimp0rtant No problem mate! Just keep up the good work ^_^

  • 6:31 with Knuckles' adventure theme was fuggin sexy. that's probably my favorite part next to the Sonic R - option screen cut. Brought back memories.

  • Dude. Did you get any TV publicity for this? No like. Really. You deserve SOMETHING for this.

  • Uhh...I got this: bit . ly / 3lnV8

  • what is.. that? o-o

  • It's a URL, take out the spaces and type it into the address bar

  • Where did ya get dat Sonic CD Title Screen Genesis Mix?

  • Stumbled upon it one day

  • Oh, I get ya!!!!

  • This is candy to the ears!

  • Honestly i almost cried at how amazing this is never before have i seen such a great and epic tribute to our blue blur hedgehog!

  • Now THIS is what i call a Sonic blast from the past!

This deserves MUCH more views and 5 stars than usual

well done with this my good sir!

  • I agree

  • I know almost all of songs here, yet never ever thought they could mix and sound this way. you pure genius you

  • Out of curiosity, which DIDN'T you know?

  • tracks from sonic rush, the one i've never played before (though i played rush adventure) i took a look for that songs after listening to this video. their niiice

  • Oh my God...are you fucking kidding me??? Sonic Rush is probably the second-best 2D Sonic game of all-time, next to Sonic CD. Srsly go play it NAO.

  • I don't know why everyone hates Sonic Rush... I mean, they asked for a 2D Sonic game, they give TWO (Rush and Rush Adventure) and they aren't happy...

I love Rush Adventure XD Coral Cave, FTW

  • Rush and Rush Adventure were good (and both had some epic music), but at no point do they truly feel like the Genesis originals. It just feels like Sega's idea of "returning to the roots" is just "returning to Sonic Advance 2." Are they bad games? No, not at all. Quite good, actually. Are they as good as the originals? Not even close, but they could have been.

  • In terms of gameplay, controls and innovation? I think Rush beats the classics pretty hard. (The first one that is)

It definately captured Sonic's speedy essence that was sort of.. "Lacking"? in the classics. However, Rush didn't have that "Sonic-y" feel when it came to the environments. There wasn't enough checkerboard designs, jagged palm trees and the variety of badniks were absent too.

I think if the levels in the classics (take Sonic and Knuckles) were redesigned for a game like Rush--

  • Sonic 1 was one of the most influential games of its time. How can Rush be more innovative? Just because they made it faster?

2D Sonics used to be about so much more than just speed. Sure, the speed was there, and it was awesome, but there was also exploration, alternate routes, bonus areas, methodical platforming... Since Rush, the 2D Sonic have been little more than a hold-right-a-thon.

I highly recommend you plug in a Sega Genesis and spend some quality time with the classics again.

  • Uh. >>;

Everything you said explains Rush PRETTY well. Rush was pretty much saturated with alternate routes, special stages and platforming.

How is Rush NOT innovative? It's everything good about Sonic in my opinion.

Don't try to preach your purist ideals just because I have a different opinion than you. o.0

Now /I/ highly recommend you boot up a DS and spend some quality time with Sonic Rush.

  • I regret that this has turned into a flame war, but if you read my original post you'd see that I have nothing against the Rush series in general. I like both games a lot, and actually did boot up my DS and play the first one a few days ago. The Rush games are the best Sonics around these days.

My issue is the idea that they are in any way a "return to the roots" of Sonic solely because they are 2D, yet they play nothing like Sonic CD or Sonic 3 & Knuckles,

  • and those who sing the praises of the series consistently ignore that.

And c'mon. The focus on Rush is pretty exclusively on speed and some minor twitch platforming. That's the title of the game, after all. There are some alternate paths and bonus stages, but nowhere near as much as the classics. I can't say I find much innovation (fun, but not innovation) in a game that decided to focus on just one or two aspects of a then-fourteen-year-old game.

  • New Super Mario Bros. is fun, but Super Mario Galaxy was innovative. Sonic Rush is Sonic's NSMB. Now we just need a Sonic Galaxy to truly advance the series.

  • It's not a flame war at all, bra. o 3o

    I only replied the way I did because you spoke as if me thinking that Rush is better than the classics (Example: Sonic 1 or 2) is some kind of sin and I need to go play a Genisis and do some soul searching or something. =u=;

Sonic Rush returns Sonic "To his roots" because it throws him into a 2D enviornment again and it's innovative because there's MORE to it now.

I'm just sayin'. -and if you read my post better, you'd see that I was disagreeing AND

  • While it can never hurt to do some soul searching with a Sega Genesis, I can see that we're both Sonic fans with different tastes. I never meant to sound like I was talking down to you, so I suppose we'll just go our separate ways.

Just so long as you don't tell me that Sonic '06 is a masterpiece :)

  • oh shit no. '06 was a hunk of fail all around.

  • I personally disagree with the former statement. NSMB was almost identical to the classic games in gameplay, while Rush had a lot of new elements which made the gameplay radically different from the olden games, i.e, the boost, trick system.

Though totally agree we need a "Sonic Galaxy".

  • COMMENT WARZ??!! IN MY VIDEOS?!?!?!

    They synced so beautifully.

  • Hey n00neimp0rtant! I was wondering if you could link the picture for the song on here, I'd like to put it on as the album cover ^_^

  • I swear I already embedded it into the mp3...

  • I just checked, the Mediafire copy definitely already has the picture embedded.

  • Oh, sorry about that; but was it after you updated this? I didn't receive it when I first downloaded it

  • A triumph.

  • Oh btw what program was used?

  • it's on my channel

  • This is WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN Going on ipod 10 TIMES!

  • Good job its awesome!

  • Best I've heard next to bingo highway remix. This is way better. Good job Man!

  • Do elaborate please. Link, maybe?

  • OH MY goodness! Simply one of the best mixs of sonic i've ever heard! You did a really nice job of makeing the music accompany eachother, Kudos!

  • N00neimp0rtant your mix is very cool, the mix of at down with starlight and the credits of sonic 3d blast isbrilliantly, and flying battery with palmtree panic equally, but, huge crisis, with the option screen of sonic R and the boss of sonic 2 game gear, they did not sound very well, only it is a commentary, do not bear it in mind, for which I do not want to offend, you prop, where is sonic advance and sonic battle, and I wait not to be a nuisance with this commentary

  • I really liked that part!!

  • Comment removed

  • This is epic and you had great timing and sync with the tracks. I especially like the ending

  • That Eggman mix blows me away every time.

  • You welcome :3

  • The best part is 8:20.

  • Actually, I like the part with Spagonia + Sky Sanctuary leading up to it too, but I still agree.

  • Ah, I listened to it a few times and it actually is really good! Great job on this by the way!

  • Nice.

  • That is AMAZING!

  • 0:33

  • AWESOOOMEEE!!! Genius)))Favorited!

  • You crushed Shadowlink4321

  • Huh?

  • You sir got a rank S

  • Wow, this is awesome.

Most of the songs fit perfectly!

The ones that don't was just because I haven't heard them yet. :P

Man, this would be an incredible feat if SEGA manages to find a band who can play like your mix.

  • Jolly well done!

  • Just what I needed, Some nicely done Sonic remixes.

  • The White Jungle(SA2 /SA2B) and Adabat(Unleashed) kicked ass! That was sweet!

  • That part was the inspiration for this song

  • Wow this is amazing.

  • Very nicely done.
