The problem is that you didn't read the system requirements on the box. Your computer is super duper slow and that's why your loading time is 15 minutes and your sleeping times are 5 minutes on 'fast forward'. You must read the system requirements. I know this is an old video but just in case nobody told you, 4 speed is the same is 3 speed. The only difference between the two is 3 sped goes fast and never stops until you make it stop. 4 speed goes until that action is up and a new one starts. That way you dont get ahead of yourself :P I love this game.

Just cheat :) Open your cheat bar CTRL ALT C then type in testingcheatsenabled true [if it doesnt work try testingcheatsenabled on] and then you can slide your emotions up, never sleep again! muahaha :D

I am a loyal simmer and have been since the first game came out. I bought a new computer because I thought that my old one wouldn't run the sims3 (The same thing happened when I bought the sims2) So now when I'm playing Sims3 on one computer.. I do something else on the other one... I can't wait for an expansion pack... The game makes me sleepy they need to fix this ASAP!!

hey familgoingnatural, you said in your video that you wanted a fill all motives cheat, well you can acuiatlly just type in the cheat, testingcheatsenabled true , once you type that cheat in you can fill all the motives your self by just clicking on one of the motive bars abd drag it to the right to bring the motive up and drag it to the left to bring down the motive.And to kill a sim just bring there hunger motive all the way down and your sim will eventually die.

I don't think I was entirely bored with it. I've really enjoyed the house building experience, probably more than playing with my Sims! I have to say The Sims 2 had WAY more roof options, and they just generally looked better, especially the round gazebo-type roofs. But the diagonal placement is a godsend, and there's nothing like seeing the early morning light coming through the kitchen window. OH and the customizable content. It made me very, very happy.

and click enter and then what you need to do is:

-press shift, and click on the mailbox

- click were it says " make all sims happy"

and viola your sim's mood is happy and you dnt need to worry about the sims doing its needs

however, I think you should just testingcheats it, because i'm having tons of fun. I also found that having more than 3-4 sims makes the sleep more interesting cause someone is always doing somthing.

As for the loading times, get more ram, TS3 has a little more to load but mine collectivley takes about 5 mins.
