I would truly love to meet Glen Hughes as he is a rock survivor. This musician has helped to keep rock music alive, especially as he worked with Deep Purple and other wonderful bands.

eqsmooth - Deep Purple became a decent band when Hughes and Coverdale joined. Glenn Hughes is one of the finest bassist/vocalists on the planet, and far from having lost it, Coverdale remains one of THE great vocalists and frontmen. Glenn wears a cross because he became a born-again christian after his recovery from years of alcohol and drug addiction.

@flyingcougar Purple were a great band before Hughes and a great band with Hughes. Coverdale isnt as good as what he was, Gillian is still an unreal singer as for Hughes unbeliveable singer also!Blackmore wont reunite mk3 even though id love it and he dont like Coverdale!Paice is still in the current line-up with Gillan and wouldnt do it because of that.only slight chance is a one off gig with lord, paice, blackmore and hughes singing in my opinion.Coverdale would do it! hope richie wud want him

@DidiHamann20 Coverdale is better than Hughes IMO. DC is able to sing low, Hughes isn't. They can both scream as hell. Hughes a bit better in the mid range than David. But David has a more unique voice to me. I heard David had a fight with Ritchie in the 80's about Mistreated. They are old man now, they should do a one off MK3 reunion, and Gillan should do a Black Sabbath reunion with the remaining members of Heaven & Hell.

Coverdale was a great singer in the 70's but his voice is shot! you could compare him with hughes right now!! in the 70's Coverdale was better than Hughes but he sure as hell isnt now, his voice is gone, finished aint coming back even Lord recently said his voice is shot im afraid to say always will be a legend however. Dont get me wrong Covedale was an unbelievable singer in the 70's with purple better than plant IMO back then.

This guy was w/Deep Purple but no one can replace Roger Glover. Blackmore will never ever work with Ian Gillan again and Coverdale can't cut it anymore. Sounds and looks like a Spinal Tap interview. What is with the cross? In any case he sounds like a sentimental nice guy
