I don't watch wrestling any more these days. But I know it takes a lot of skill and fitness and can be fun to watch.

Best wrestlers I've ever seen were way back in the early 70s. Les Kellet, Mick McManus, Johnny Quango, Leon Arris etc.

All those that like wrestling could check out Les Kellet Vs. Leon Arris (1974)

. (I just watched it for the first time myself ;¬) ) This was back when wrestling was developing as a TV sport. Some great moves and great comedy too. Pure entertainment.

@RevolutionGFXoz Well thats where the fact that an overseas tour can be an advantage. A title can change hands between champion and challenger before the end of the tour, and the champion at the start of the tour can return to the US and have the storylines continue as they did.

I remember back in 1994 I attended a show where the tag team titles had changed hands during the tour and at the show I attended the tag team who started the tour as champions regained the titles.

I've been a wrestling fan for nearly 20 years, but despite that, it still to this day amazes me how the guys and girls involved are able to go out there and perform like they do when their schedules consist of travelling around the world almost all year long, and moreso especially when they pick up the multitude of injuries they can sustain from doing what they do.

Like you said, people tend to find they enjoy the shows more when they put aside the fact that it is all choreographed like any TV

The fact is pro wrestlers rarely perform at their peak. They're usually carrying one type of injury or another when they climb into the ring. It's diificult for them to heal properly because of their demanding schedule. Would've been a good show Pete.
