See, tha,ts what happens when ya get old !! Damn it!There,s a couple o clue between the two. Do ya see em, ? Look close. That Mallard has the modified floats. And wing tip.
Did,nt anybody notice? Thats an Albatross not a Mallard! I have several 100 hours as a Flt. Mech./ radar oprtr. on them and worked on Mallars & gooses @ Dean Franklin Aviation in the 70s and 80s. My "Ol, Goat" years were in the U.S.C.G. The floats and size are part of the clues.
Memories!!! almost the same color scheme as the once "Seaplane Shuttle" airline in the Virgin islands (google for pics) I loved the engine noises on take off the water while hanging out in downtown Christiansted St Croix. Thanks for the vid!!!!
@VImessenjah amen, i flown in one when i wa sa kid, I lived in PR back then. they took off from San Juan Luis Muños marin. Damn Hugo for destroying the airline.

@pinwizz69 It's reg number is N2945, it is Mallard J-8. I have stood between it and and an Albatross. It is about a third as big as the Albatross.
