  • 2:09 check hook

  • Click to skip the bullshit >>> 0:58

  • Man the dude at 2:25 has dope defense!

  • tommy hearns gotta b the best fighter ever, how many belts in different weights

  • @sapper6620 totally agree sapper ,i think he won six titles at different weights from welter to cruiser an astonishing feat that will probably never be equalled, and remember every time he moved up a weight the punches stung a little more a total and utter legend

  • tommy hearnns' right hand will put anyone to sleep..

  • Tommy had such reach with those long arms. You'd have to be outside the ring to be out of his range. Everything he throws looks like it hurts. When he goes to the body that shit looks like a Rocky movie. Dude was a fucking MONSTER!

  • I liked the intro but the song you ended up going with was kinda weakkkkk

  • I think mayweather would have held his own but manny in this era would have got destroyed well wit out the steroids of course lol u mean to tell me that manny at 5 6 naturally 110 can hit harder then heard who's 6'2 147 154 pounds yeah ok maybe all of yall who believe that shit is delusional motha fuckas lol

  • Jay-z... Had to turn the sound off.

    nice footage though :)

  • Hagler took care of him on April 15, 1985

  • his right hand was devastating even made hagler wobble a little bit from it

  • Whats all that 54 secs of bullshit @ the beginning for??

  • @chanctonbury63 don't hate on my creative side I want my shit to be different

  • @RJD185 I liked the Beginning man, you know for Hearns it needed to be epic

  • 4:08 who is Hearns fighting?

  • @FootballFanatic141 Ray Leonard (2nd fight)

  • Something that is often underplayed about Tommy was the ridiculous speed and cartoonish angles that his punches came from, the man was an absolute force of nature when he was in his prime!

  • hearnes would make an absolute meal of mundine

  • in the u.s. he was called "hitman" in latino america "la cobra" but always, one of the most dangerous guy's in boxing..

  • most random beggining minute of a video followed by a great video and awesome song

  • Hes the real hitman

  • Damn! Hearns had dynamite in his fists

  • thomas da hit man hearns 1 of the greatest n definetly da most excitng

  • greatest fighter ever.. period.. in my humble opiniomn... but.. dont try to d=change my mind.... tommy.. was like the greatest poet whoever lived.. they are 1 an thew same. alexander pushkin.. whether his 30 word poems.. whick is 1 round.. or his 2000 page poems. 12 rounds.. lol.. have asharp mind for that though

  • Tommy Hearns = bad ass mother fucker

  • @TheQwaggs yezzir.. tommy hearns. 4u

  • Tommy Hearns a welter a 6 ft. 1....Wtf...Love watchin him. That shot to the face of Duran is the kind that lawmakers use as an argument for banning full contact sports!

  • 2:22 That is literally the hardest punch I've seen landed by any middleweight in boxing or mma. That man's head exploded like a piece of popcorn. Damn Hearns was a BEAST!

  • The punch he gave to Duran was a masterpiece.

  • the most underated boxer of all time

  • In the end, just a simple African American named Iran Barkley kicked Hearn's ass. When he went down and his wide eyes started seeing that room spinning around and all those little flying "niggah" angels singing like tweety birds, I laughed at his punked ghetto ass.

  • @MisterNifty Considering that Hearns was a natural welterweight , losing to Barkley doesn't take away from his legacy. Hearns went up and knocked out cruiserweights.

  • @jperez9805 Hearns was a natural welterweight? The way I see it, Iran Barkley was a poor man's version of a larger Roberto Duran. It was sweet revenge against as Hearns was nothing more than a slick, one armed boxer who got lucky against the greatest lightweight ever, a two fisted fighter namedRoberto Duran.

  • @MisterNifty Yes he was a natural welterweight. Hey, styles make fights. Barkley had his number. Just like Duran had Barkley's number but yet got vaporized by Hearns. Not knocking Duran, he's my idol and HIS loss to Hearns doesn't take away from his own legacy. Greatest lightweight, indeed as well as one of the greatest fighters of all time. But I have to be objective, I think Hearns, along with Duran and Leonard would have cleaned up on today's welterweights.

  • @jperez9805 There is a saying in the MMA and if there isn't there should be, that if a fighter isn't getting his ass knocked out, he is pretending to be one as a boxer. If getting knocked out means a fighter was great, Muhammed Ali wasn't a great fighter.

But, thinking about it, Duran could have handled things better psychologically if he had been knocked out later in the fight. As it was so short, he might not remember anything about it. If that was the case, he didn't learn anything.

  • @jperez9805 i agree. with you. i try to explain that to heads. even as i go.. that cuz he beat him an he beat him.. yeah he could beat him. but sum heads got that kryptonite, an fight a style that that particular fighter, doesnt quite like so much.. its some good fights 2 nite my man.. heavyweight title. an some nice mma for the masses if u will.. get bak

  • @voodoo9606 Amen brother. Enjoy the fights.

  • i grew up in the 80s,this was the man,no doubt, his right hand was like a shotgun blast BOOM!!!

  • awesome highlight, ive got a black mate who im getting into boxing, hes real lanky and i wanted to show him some hearns so he could try imitate, this is the best quality highlight cheers mate

  • @randylahey111 TY Imagine if Tommy Hearns was fighting in this era of welter weights OMG Mayweather might not be Undeafeted

  • @RJD185 . k tough q for you... no favortism. please.. ur humble opinio.. lets say both in their prime. on a night where each felt they were going to take this dudes head off. howlong ever it took.... sit back catch u a small buzz.. then to top it off 1 more thing. u had to bet all you had. wrong you are broke. win. and you were rich...... bernard hopkins. vs tommy hearns... detailed answer... and tankyou for ur honest answer.. press reply.. and agin ur ansewr will hold alot of weight

  • @RJD185 Mayweather would'nt be fighting Welterweight. Neither would Paquiao.

  • @RJD185 Yea he would of because Mayweather wouldent of fought him. Maybe now he would with Hearns not being in his prime anymore. lol

  • @RJD185 he would eat mayweather alive!

  • @RJD185 Lets also remember that hagler beat hearns is a battle and hearns definately beat ray leonard in their second fight, and guys like carlos monzon are always forgotten in these discussions shake my head

  • @randylahey111 Hearns is good to mimic; with that in and out, fighters and porn stars alike have a thing or two to learn

  • hardest p4p straight right ever??? thoughts??

  • has any fighter had a jab that was as devestating as his ? piston like

  • The Motor City Cobra !

  • @serekithegreat .. my favorite. ever. to. but i just put a heard question to the man above. id take ur response to.. but no favrtism.. just if u had to bet all you had. and they were fighting tmr night. ud be broke or rich. and you had to pick... both in thier prime. feelingunbeatable........ hearns vs bernard hopkins... sit back catch u a small buzz. and tell me ur very honest answer... and i know tommy could take him out in 1..... but. if you had to bet an. it was tmr night. both. vowing

  • he certainly was a hitman with that right hand haha

  • dat jab

  • it dont matter, some say tom had aweak chin, even on his losses, which were all flukes!!!!!!!!!!! he got up an was ready every time never out cold jake. more amatter of wind on that day, his best fight ever which there were 30 ovem, creme de le creme.. see vs duran, no one within 20 pounds gets with hearns on that day jake

  • @voodoo9606 no matter waht you think the hitman lost 2 of his most famous fights against leonard and hagler ! he was a warrior through and through but just never had enough to beat those 2 all time legends !! warrior indeed

  • @sweetassugar69

He beat Leonards ass second time.

  • @redryan5048 was it when they were way past there prime and at the fage end of there career and was where tommy was hanging on like a hooker round tiger woods hotel room ! the real battle was in 1981 when hearns was unbeaten in 32 fights with 30 knockouts and was considered unbeatable ! that was the real leonard hearns fight !!!

  • @sweetassugar69

He was clearly behind due to Hearns sublime boxing skills before the premature intervention of the ref.

  • He kicked Ray's butt in their second fight, did you not see that? It was called a draw, but come on, he put Ray on his ass twice. He easily won that fight. Hagler, he had moved up in weight and fought Hagler when Marvin was at this very best. He's the only man I ever saw flatten out Duran. Hagler couldn't do that, neither could Ray.

  • welterweight not middleweight he was one of the best welters

  • What a shot @ 2:22

  • my hero in the square circle! warrior , legend!!

  • Who was Tommy fighting at 2:24?

  • @Twilight8888 James Shuler.

  • Great video, to bad it was one minut of useless shit in the begining..

  • Tommy had the heart of a lion .I loved Tommy .

  • man great vid tommys da shiz but change the intro to something more pump up something that gets you goin

  • Wow - That was impressive! Thanks for sharing, from your number one fan

  • Hagler v Hearns, best fight of all time !

  • lose the intro

  • ricky hatton and brett hart step aside, there's only one HITMAN! lol

  • holy shit The Outer Limits intro, Tommy Hearns, and Jay Z.. BEST TRIBUTE VIDEO OF ALL TIME

  • thx I wanted it to be different from anyone else's

  • u did a great job my friend

  • @kidynamite666

I don't think Thomas ever got the real credit he deserved. Many of these guys today are so worried about staying pretty, they won't fight the best. I think Mayweather pisses his pants when he thinks about Manny....Hearnes wasn't like that. He fought the best that there was and never ducked anyone.

Stood toe to toe with Hagler, kicked Ray's butt the second time, knocked out Duran...you can't beat that.

  • @longtalltexan63 i am taking nothing away from thomas hearns in fact he is deffo one of the greatest but the facts are the real big fights tommy lost and got kayoed ! he was never quite a leonard or a hagler because he lacked the chin of hagler and the brain of leonard ! hey if you wanna think that the second hearns leonard fight was a showcase of both there primes then thats up to you ! hearns just edged the 2nd fight but they were both way past there primes ! the 1st fight was the real test !

  • @sweetassugar69

I don't think Thomas was the greatest or anything, but I so greatly admire how he didn't duck anyone like the wussy Mayweather is doing Manny. He fought the best that they could put in front of him and if he went down, he went down swinging. Not to mention he is a very nice man.

  • @longtalltexan63 i agree totally with you on that a true warrior to the soles of his boxing shoes ! i come from your era and in fact i detest mayweather with a pasion ! he has no class what so ever! you know what they say the apple does not fall very far from the tree in regards to mayweather upbringing ! it would not bother me if i ever saw him box again! in fact i think he needs a good beating from somebody !! but he is a product of the society we live in now mate !! very sad but true !!

  • @sweetassugar69

Pretty boy will get the beating if he dares step in with Manny. He saw what Manny did to Hatton and decided right then he wanted no part of it.

  • @sweetassugar69 Dont forget hearns stepped up in weight it was a bit to far for him he gave a good go tho and he was a legend in his own weight i agree with you's about mayweather he's boring and he's a coward manny is only guy in this time who tries entertain nowadays modern great

  • THE most exiting fighter i've seen EVER,

  • great job highlighting tommy! awesome body shots into shulers ribs. quicker than quick. my all time boxing hero

  • tommy would have knocked floyd out in4 rounds at 147. floyd aint used to pain. he would have faked an injury, puffed up in the face.

  • @voodoo9606

probably first round look wt he did to duran

  • @sdsaucysd good vid! And I do agree with you about the body shots. Everyone knows about Tommy's left jab and right to the head, but he did so much damage during his career with brutal hooks to the body. Shuler felt the pain! And it was the body shots that began his end. Shuler was strong and dangerous, but Tommy used that great bodywork to weaken him and then went in for the kill.

  • Really great video man. I think Hearns is one of the most over looked greatest fighters.Glad to see someone else respects him also.

  • tommy the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hearns was so fucking pretty, thank you to whoever put this song to the hit man. dman i wish i could have been in timmys lockerroom before even as a fly on the wall watchin that dude warming up an pacing around, breland the next hearns, shit. tommy the only icon- hero ive ever had. im a 41 year old white dude an as a youngster all my walls from ring mag were cut out an pasted covered the walls, with my 10oz gloves freinds had to go a few minutes an id emulate low left shootin that right an l

  • nice tribute vid man
