Especially live; I saw them like 20+ times.

You shouldn't really compare them (or anyone else) to bands playing different kind of music -it is just a question of your personal taste. And if you want to compare 'copters with metal bear in mind that before 'copters Nicke already kicked some searious ass, and then some, with Entombed and now after the 'copters he is doing it again with Death Breath.

lejo and ezra! i am totaly agreed with you!! the hellacopters r over the top and one of the best "rock" bands in the new age! i am happy they dont come to be a "popular" band!! they kept their " underground" roots all the time and they stand pretty close to their fan base!! my biggest respect for that!!!

Yeah, you´re right! And before Entombed he was in in a death metalband called Nihilist. If you want to check ´em out I think there are some demos and compilations! I only have an asskicking e.p with four bands and Nihilist is one of them, It´s only one song called Face of evil and it´s great! It´s released on CBR, " Chickenbrainrecords". I guess It´s pretty hard to find these days but if you find it, BUY IT!!

They are just not from the right decade. In the 70´s they would have been big as hell!

Brilliant! I hadn't heard this song prior to looking at this, but having watched it now I've decided that it's one of my favourite 'Copters songs. Possibly because of the awesome bass intro :)

I was there! Completely wrong stage for the Hellacopters. The stage is way too big for a semi-popular band. A smaller stage would have been better for both the band and the fans. I enjoyed it though ;D
