Hi Gloria, Try replacing the nozzle. That is the only part that you can't get into with a tool or a brush. You can do a search on-line to find where to buy one. They are not very expensive. You should always have a spare one so get two.
Hi..thnxs for a detailed vdo. I am having a couple of issues with my airbrush and wud appreciate you help. Actually, I hadnt cleaned it up after my last use and it sat for a while with the product.
1. After I cleaned it up, I used it again but the product wud just sputter out. So, when I press the lever it sputters first and then gets ok
2.it sprays for a while and then stops and then sprays again!
3, I use sparmax compressor n kett hydro. wht PSI is ideal to use?
Excellent information Sheila. Your Hydro Foundation performed so well for our on location video shoot in NYC. 90+ degrees but NO touch ups were needed. Amazing product. Thanks.
You should use the airbrush lube when the draw back on your lever begins to feel like it is scratching and not sliding freely and easily. Just a small drop of lube should be placed on the "plunger" that the lever is positioned on top of. You can also put some on the threads on any part of the airbrush. Thank you.
Thanks for this video. Sheila is a great teacher, very comprehensive info on exactly how to disassemble your airbrush. I have a Iwata that I just bought, but I'm going to use her tips with my airbrush gun. The kept foundations are the best on the market. When sprayed on, looks like perfect skin!

How can you use the airbrush lube? And how often?

Thank you all. I'm happy to help and yes you can use the same breakdown with Iwata airbrushes.

Oops, sorry for the typo, meant to say "Kett" foundations. I've been using them about 2 months now, and it's the only brand of airbrush makeup I use.
