Hey! Thanks for this helpful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Kinovelax Diet Plan (google it), but I'm not sure if it's good. Have you tried using Kinovelax Diet Plan? I've heard many extraordinary things about it and my cousin lost a ton of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me :(
Hello! Thanks a lot for this useful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Kinovelax Diet Plan (just google it), but I'm not sure if it is really good. This still surprise me, how many people do not know about Kinovelax Diet Plan (do a google search), although lots of people get great result with it. Thanks to my mate who told me about Kinovelax Diet Plan, I have lost plenty of weight with it without starving myself.

If your'e gonna start using dextrose it's fine, but.. you need to lower your carbs from other meals throughout the day or you WILL put on quiet a bit of fat, i found out the hard way.
I still use it cause its like rocket fuel for me it makes me so focused and ready for anything, but you need to lower carbs from other meals and idealy try not to eat any carbs after 6pm... this is not scientifically proven or anything to what I know of... this is just what works for me.
At last, a video of someone that knows what he is doing. Too many people blending bananas and milk etc etc! Who the fuck takes a blender to the gym?!! Cheers buddy
@leanbodylifestyle Do you still use dextrose post workout? i am thinking of using it but im a little concerned that it may up my body fat percentage i have come across so many times on the internet that the ideal ratio is 50 grams of dextrose to 25 grams of whey protein
hey man i got a question about what i put in my post workout shake.....i blend 50g whey protein, 10g bcaa + glutmine, 10g creatine, and 50g carb gain by NOW nutrition a complex carb..should i switch to dextrose??
Dude hmmmm Do you have any methods to motivate me to workout more? Because I always say "Im gonna eat healthy tomorrow, Imma workout/run tomorrow" then I never do it T.T
Hey bud, I gotta question my body type is pretty similar to yours except you're more defined (I think I'm physically incapable of forming lower abs) I was just wondering if you could perhaps do of video of your workout schedule or meal plan for an entire day ... or both? I've always been physically active and I just want to elevate to the next level and thanks to your inspiring videos it looks like this is the year, let me know please and thanks
@littlebrownboy23 He posted up a video of one of his work outs not that long ago. I take it as every meal he is preparing is in some way what he is eating that day. Take all his videos and pick a breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal and mix and match throughout the week. His diet is pretty much laid out for us. you just have to use its and make it your own. But I agree that it would be nice to see some more of his workouts on here. Good luck in your progress.
Hey man I really enjoy your videos and I think they are very informative, keep up the good work and I will keep watching!!! Thumbs up for you and your solid info!
@TheGrubb61 Its just his advise to people that arent as in depth as he is and want to try different things. Clearly what he does works and it works well. How about instead of being a condescending ass, you could post videos of what you do and share your knowledge, or at least when you comment on here, you could try not to be a D-bag and make simple helpful suggestions like, Michael. Im sure you would garner more respect. I look forward to his tips and yours if you're willing to share.
@TheGrubb61 The reason it's good to add simple carbs in your post workout shake is to refill the glycogen in the muscles. If you don't do this, the muscles will simply convert some of the protein to do that. However, most people don't want their supplements going to waste like that!
can you make a video of some kind of ghetto/poorman's shake or food for body building/diet? you know, with things like cottage cheese, eggs etc. without special powders and stuff like that?
@madchild0709 Just like they say soy protein will shrink your balls lol! Trust me, dont go bye everything you hear from them. My sex drive is still the same & I've been taking soy for a year.
@emello4you i was asking him a question.. not saying theyre right. things work differently for everyone. soy, generally for males, apparently raises estrogene levels. me personally, i cant eat soy.
hmm I've heard from some people that it's useless to take creatine with your poterin shake and after workouts, always thought it was a load of crap personally. I see your in good shape and do the same so I have no problem with keeping my creatine intake after my workouts and in my protein shake.
Can't you substitute dextrose with other fruits like banana?? I usually have 2 scoops of protein shake with 2 whole banana for my post workout food....am I doing right or wrong?? Please reply :)
lololol nice argument ended funny. Im with you man I have basically the same thing only have them all separate and just use normal juice instead of dextrose
@leanbodylifestyle For true, there are a lot of process going on, which are the same by every person. Carbonh. have the same effect for your body - not in gain weight but for your metabolic prozesses for example. I admit washy0001, that the science discovered a lot of things that can help you, a lot, turn out, are BS. In my opinion, this rec. have to much carbohydrates and less fat. But I know that and change his rec for me. The Idea is the interesting thing, not all of the ingredient.
@Qjemuse You should get 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight, totaling through quality meats and, if you'd like, a protein powder. Don't worry at all about the timing, but because nutrient timing is irrelevant.
Thanks for recipe Michael. Bodybuilders have been taking protein with a high GI carb post work-out for years. I think there is some scientific evidence that supports the opinion of a high-GI carb + protein post workout. Never thought of using dextrose... usually would mix my whey protein with cranberry or apple juice or orange juice post work out... or eggs with white potatoes, or chicken and white rice post workout... all same concepts.
@walshy0001 Its just advice man, Jimmy Struthers up the strees, he eats fast acting carbs like a mother fucker after his workout. It just advice, you can do WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANNA DO!
@Noonalika - "It's just advice man, you know? You don't have to follow it, I mean...at the end of the day...YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE F*CK YOU WANNA DO!" I should add that sound clip to the end of my next video.
@leanbodylifestyle YAY now i have your attention you should also put price next to the nutritional values. Which kind of whey do you use? cos all those tubs look like they cost like a bitch... And im usually too tired after a workout to get fucked by some supplement company.
Hey Mike what happened to your Ambush Elite 30? I just ordered two containers because the consistent product placement in your videos finally got the better of me lol. Btw, what's the brand of that protein bag your using? It looks like it has many servings, which is always a plus.
@AtoZyzzyva I believe he's already got a few of those. Check out the one that says chocolate fudge. and there's also a high protein dip one that can be vanilla or chocolate. I've tried both and they're great.
@Celonarb Im still in the phrase of gaining weight and I am not taking around 20g protein 30 mins pre workout and another 20g protein 30 mins post workout in the form of whey protein. yet another 20g protein after 2 hours since I heard there's a 2 hour windows for the body to take in protein.
I know it's a bit off topic from your post but just wanna know if Im on the right track. thanks.
@walshy0001 yeah but if the guys giving the advice are yolked and ripped to fuck (natural of course) and they use those methods then its hard to disagree with them no matter what some fat chubby scientist tells me im afraid.
Most people don't realize it, but you're postprandial for the majority of the day and meals often overlap each other. Yes, your stomach might clear in a few hours, but the food still needs to be absorbed in the intestines. And so, the glycemic index of a food will lower as the food is most likely being absorbed along with fats, proteins and fibers. Sugar and "white" foods have been demonized because of people looking at only the surface of the GI.
I do Agree with u on some (very little points, Like Glutamine), but Other stuff could actually enhance ur outcome. Fast sugars after a work out can create a insulin spike. If you take ur Post work out protein shake and creatine (which i believe should only be taken post work out 5g should do it but wat ever) it actually does transport all the nutrients fast bcz of the insulin spike. You Don't need these products it's only optional :)
But i know for sure Creatine is no BS :) check it
@walshy0001 maybe 10 g of creating is a bit much. but plenty of studies have shown the exact opposite of what you said about all 3 points. anywhoo why believe some and not others, also every body is different people need to find what works for them, not what studies say.
oh shit finally some other supplements other then elite30. btw just curious is that your stack or do you still take other supplements like BCAA's/CLA etc
hey leanbodylifestyle):):):) Thanks for your support! :):):) Please share this with your viewers okay ! (JmTheMasterMinute) This is a "NEW" MUSIC video to FACE "Childhood fitness" called : I like the way you move by JM
Is this safe for a 15 year old. I been pouring whey protein in my oatmill for a while now and I have not noticed anything inheathy yet. Answer please.
@ThEHercules1996 you should probablly just stick to the whey protein with one bannana post workout then go ahead and search all the side effects and all for creatine etc..and see what you think...but most healthy would be just natural banana
@leanbodylifestyle I am also very confused about this. I try to eat a high GI fruit like banana or mango along with whey of course and am a bit hesitant about sugar (!). Do you think that dextrose is also necessary for a female as well? I train hard enough to feel the so-called 'pump' (stretched, tight, inflamed feeling) usually followed by some intensity of DOMS that does not go away for several days in that muscle group. Do you think dextrose is superior to high-GI fruit?
@undeadheart66 i would say eat dates, they have a GI of 105 which equivalent if not higher than dextrose + its a natural fruit so your not just consuming straight sugar
@hanirfc great idea thanks, esp as I love the taste of dates. also tropical fruits such as mangoes and pineapple are good too--and they can be easily mixed in with a shake (as opposed to dates which you'd eat separately). However, after reading all the debates here--and I've come across them before--my head is spinning. is GI the key, is the golden window a myth. Creatine on the other hand I am wary of b/c as a woman, I'm susceptible to the bloat. I tried the esther which did 0 for me.
@sp5286 creatine helps for muscles retain more water making them feel and look fuller. also when you work out your muscles use up ATP(adenosine triphosphate), which is essentially what allows your muscles to contract and is the "power" in muscles and it becomes ADP(adenosine diphosphate)-which is useless and thus your muscle can't contract anymore. once ATP is depleted, the creatine bonds itself to ADP and essentially gives it another phosphate, turning it back into ATP
@imthatguy85 so creatine helps you lift heavier, more reps, and helps you recover faster between sets. i also get better pumps when I'm on creatine as opposed to when I'm cycling off creatine
@imthatguy85 but isn't it the case that the creatine-phosphate (C-P) channel is only activated if lifting heavy at under 6 reps--meaning like 80% of maximal force . resistance training is anaerobic (mostly), I know (except for circuit training), but the traditional 12-15 or even 6-10 range does not invoke the C-P channel but relies instead on the burning of lactate, in which case creatine would do jack. I might be wrong, I am what is defined as a noob:)
@undeadheart66 i have never heard that before, so i can't necessarily say that you're right or wrong. the conversion of ATP-ADP is essentially what causes lactate acid build up. with creatine you convert the ADP much faster back into ATP and allow your self to lift heavier or for more reps. I don't think the creatine phosphate is triggered to work or not based on reps, its there to replenish ATP in the muscles no matter what. I'm not an expert either, i don't think rep range matters tho
@cube4jesus In my opinion I find that having a separate bottle of creatine dissolved and the whey protein with a carb better to spike the insulin. rather than mix them together. Everyone is different though.
Please make a tutorial for substitute for Hot Pockets. Many people who cant cook at all like me and people in college eat hot pockets, but they are high in carbs, sugar, fat.
I'm glad you included the dextrose, for insulin spiking, becuase 90% of lifters don't know how insulin works, and I've been taking a sugar/creatine complex for only 3 weeks now, and I am the strongest I have ever been. Great video.
you could also eat a couple of dates next to your shake instead of using dextrose, if you dont have dextrose or if you like to eat something after workout. dates have a very high glycemic index.
@Mozzzole i would say more than a couple of dates, probably 8-10 to get 30g of sugar..but your right they have an extremely high GI (105) which might even be higher than dextrose
hey micheal make a vid showing that beans can be a complete protein by adding some quinoa powder to it, to help people who want to stay lean while building some muscle.....beans has protein, carbs, and fiber
Thanks for this mate. I'm looking at building mass and gaining about 5kgs. What are components I should be looking at in shakes (pre and post work out) and my diet? I workout thrice a week.
I didn't think you took anything other than Whey Protein... You've never mentioned creatine or the other supplements in your previous videos, could you do a video elaborating on why you use them, if they're all natural, etc. Thanks Michael, keep up the awesome work!
Another Great vid mike! And for those people with the "I dont have protein comments" you can go buy one easily from wal-mart or any grocery stores for a reasonable price!

i just do some fruit post workout
SkinninMacKinnon 6 months ago
@SkinninMacKinnon and protein of course
but fruit for the insulin spike
SkinninMacKinnon 6 months ago
Is this safe for a 15 year old. I been pouring whey protein in my oatmill for a while now and I have not noticed anything inheathy yet. Answer please.
ThEHercules1996 6 months ago
@ThEHercules1996 you should probablly just stick to the whey protein with one bannana post workout then go ahead and search all the side effects and all for creatine etc..and see what you think...but most healthy would be just natural banana
TheUnikMe1 6 months ago
@ThEHercules1996 yes its healthy whey protein is just the protein from milk.
Kalashnikovkira 6 months ago
@leanbodylifestyle I am also very confused about this. I try to eat a high GI fruit like banana or mango along with whey of course and am a bit hesitant about sugar (!). Do you think that dextrose is also necessary for a female as well? I train hard enough to feel the so-called 'pump' (stretched, tight, inflamed feeling) usually followed by some intensity of DOMS that does not go away for several days in that muscle group. Do you think dextrose is superior to high-GI fruit?
undeadheart66 6 months ago
@undeadheart66 i would say eat dates, they have a GI of 105 which equivalent if not higher than dextrose + its a natural fruit so your not just consuming straight sugar
hanirfc 6 months ago
@hanirfc great idea thanks, esp as I love the taste of dates. also tropical fruits such as mangoes and pineapple are good too--and they can be easily mixed in with a shake (as opposed to dates which you'd eat separately). However, after reading all the debates here--and I've come across them before--my head is spinning. is GI the key, is the golden window a myth. Creatine on the other hand I am wary of b/c as a woman, I'm susceptible to the bloat. I tried the esther which did 0 for me.

Looks great! Thanks for posting.

I'm very scared of Dextrose. As a endomorph I try to stay away from simple sugars all together.
haitian1989 6 months ago 5
@haitian1989 You shouldn't be. Body types are a myth. Sugars or "simple carbs" aren't going to spike insulin to put you in a "fat storing mode".

whats creatine for??
sp5286 6 months ago
@sp5286 creatine helps for muscles retain more water making them feel and look fuller. also when you work out your muscles use up ATP(adenosine triphosphate), which is essentially what allows your muscles to contract and is the "power" in muscles and it becomes ADP(adenosine diphosphate)-which is useless and thus your muscle can't contract anymore. once ATP is depleted, the creatine bonds itself to ADP and essentially gives it another phosphate, turning it back into ATP
imthatguy85 6 months ago
@imthatguy85 so creatine helps you lift heavier, more reps, and helps you recover faster between sets. i also get better pumps when I'm on creatine as opposed to when I'm cycling off creatine
imthatguy85 6 months ago
@imthatguy85 but isn't it the case that the creatine-phosphate (C-P) channel is only activated if lifting heavy at under 6 reps--meaning like 80% of maximal force . resistance training is anaerobic (mostly), I know (except for circuit training), but the traditional 12-15 or even 6-10 range does not invoke the C-P channel but relies instead on the burning of lactate, in which case creatine would do jack. I might be wrong, I am what is defined as a noob:)
undeadheart66 6 months ago
@undeadheart66 i have never heard that before, so i can't necessarily say that you're right or wrong. the conversion of ATP-ADP is essentially what causes lactate acid build up. with creatine you convert the ADP much faster back into ATP and allow your self to lift heavier or for more reps. I don't think the creatine phosphate is triggered to work or not based on reps, its there to replenish ATP in the muscles no matter what. I'm not an expert either, i don't think rep range matters tho
imthatguy85 6 months ago
What is creatine for?? I understand whey protein and dextrose(carb) but creatine????
sp5286 6 months ago

Which camera do you use?
BaseemNajjar 6 months ago
@leanbodylifestyle Wouldn't a banana suffice as far as sugar to travel to the creatine to your muscles?
dinamiaesthetics 6 months ago
what if you dont take chemicals to gain muscle what are some alternatives that are natural,,,>??????
TheTortuga21 6 months ago
I thought creatine and whey were supposed to be taken separately.
cube4jesus 6 months ago
@cube4jesus In my opinion I find that having a separate bottle of creatine dissolved and the whey protein with a carb better to spike the insulin. rather than mix them together. Everyone is different though.

Please make a tutorial for substitute for Hot Pockets. Many people who cant cook at all like me and people in college eat hot pockets, but they are high in carbs, sugar, fat.
RoxasX58 6 months ago
I'm glad you included the dextrose, for insulin spiking, becuase 90% of lifters don't know how insulin works, and I've been taking a sugar/creatine complex for only 3 weeks now, and I am the strongest I have ever been. Great video.
x0misch0x 6 months ago
Are their any substitutes for the dextrose or anything that contains dextrose that I could use?
Sooners4ever25 6 months ago
you could also eat a couple of dates next to your shake instead of using dextrose, if you dont have dextrose or if you like to eat something after workout. dates have a very high glycemic index.
Mozzzole 6 months ago
@Mozzzole i would say more than a couple of dates, probably 8-10 to get 30g of sugar..but your right they have an extremely high GI (105) which might even be higher than dextrose
hanirfc 6 months ago
@hanirfc
yea exactly around that amount, if u feel like eating something next to your shake thats really good, mmhm, i like dates. :D
Mozzzole 6 months ago
hey micheal make a vid showing that beans can be a complete protein by adding some quinoa powder to it, to help people who want to stay lean while building some muscle.....beans has protein, carbs, and fiber

Thanks for this mate. I'm looking at building mass and gaining about 5kgs. What are components I should be looking at in shakes (pre and post work out) and my diet? I workout thrice a week.

I thought you're trying to stay lean??...soo why the creatine and why 10grams??
fantasize54 6 months ago
Is there any way to figure out how much Dextrose you should take based on your body weight, or is it just trial and error?
hookahtehdude 6 months ago
You say basically a lot.
Thats basically a good observation.
I basically liked this video after watching.

I like the old school banana and whey powder but ill give this a shot if I hit a plateau.
K5LAPro 6 months ago
I didn't think you took anything other than Whey Protein... You've never mentioned creatine or the other supplements in your previous videos, could you do a video elaborating on why you use them, if they're all natural, etc. Thanks Michael, keep up the awesome work!
