I played the demo for this game, and I thought that the physics and tackling were great, but everything else felt really mediocre. The camera was weird and the controls were awkward. I really wanted to like this game, but there were to many flaws for me to actually enjoy what could of been an other wise really fun game. Hopefully if they release a sequel the camera and controls will be fixed and made more user friendly.

i played the demo, it was complete shit...the camera angle was horrible, techmo bowl on the NES had a deeper playbook, i litterally shutout the comp in 6 straight games and the only defense i ran was FG Block! The gameplay is too frantic and chaotic and the atmosphere of the game is boring...No crowd noise, no energy whatsoever with exception of a split second glimpse of a nice physics base tackle...no depth, no strategy, no real sense of A.I....not worth the 60 bucks

If this game wants to beat out Madden, since it doesn't have a NFL license, it needs to have a full deep customization something like Forza being able to create original creations on your helmet. Second a great broadcast announcer and like NFL 2K5 awesome halftime show with replays and highlights ..... If not... then it will be just another crap

The physics & gameplay look awesome.... But the player models are horrible if they dont change them for the final game to make them look more like realistic player i wont even bother with this game... And why does every single player wear a dark visor? even the kickers and QB's? Thats retarded.

Look at it this way, how many players are on a team? Multiply that by the number of teams and you'll have to generically created facial feature for that number of players.

Hopefully in future Backbreaker installments they'll get around to the non-visors and players with facial personalities.

I am pretty sure what you see in these trailer is what the final build of the players will be. It's definitely different from either NFL2K or EAMadden though.

I look forward to getting my hands on Backbreaker's gameplay & see how the players react on the field. One of the major things I don't like that I've seen in these trailers are the "Flying tackles."

The key different between this and EAMadden is suppose to be better physics (this is first and foremost). Secondly, game play is suppose to be different.

Keep this in mind when reading the following. Don't look at the graphics or how realistic the player model is in backbreaker.

There are problems with the game that I have seen in gameplay footage around youtube. The artificial intelligence is certainly not perfect. I am concerned about the artificial intelligence, pass rush/blocking, defensive back/wide receiver interactions. Tackles are also not that important to me. Gameplay is first & foremost.
