Lately, Eric Singer is doing his solo like Peters Reunion solo. It's that same tribal type of beat (which sounds cool) . I think that this is where Gene & Paul are taking it too far and telling him how to play. Eric should have put on the Fox make up since his real drumming style is closer to Eric Carr.

this is eric singer, he is the best drummer kiss has ever had,,, peter criss was the original and we loved him ..but he is washed up even if he doesn't think so ..also ace ..i saw the farewell tour with the original line -up & peter and ace were horrible!..they are both washed up...and theu sold their rights because they are always broke..,tommy  thayer and eric singer are really good musicians ..i am glad to still have kiss aound after 36 years ..they sound better than ever..

STOP LIVING IN THE 70s! Bands either evolve as the decades roll on or they DIE OUT! Very very few bands remain with the same lineup for 30+ years, it's inevitable.

Eric Singer is a damn good drummer, as always. He was fantastic with Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath, he's brilliant with KISS. A true KISS fan would love them for who they are.

Also, i don't feel the need to insult a band i clearly like, on pretty much all of their videos. You KNOW people hate you, or you would allow video comments!

Back in the 90's they were joking around. They already have a character idea for Eric Singer. It is the Hawk. Watch KISS Extreme Close-Up. I kind of agree it would be nice to see a new character. But then they have to do something for Tommy. Instead of the fake Space Ace. They just tried to keep it classic for sales. Cost more to create new stuff then using the same stuff.

I saw them live in Nuremberg on June 27th. His solo was probably as long as this and it was awsome, I kind of fell in love with eric xD and with paul and gene and tommy, too, of course. tommy's solo was great as well. Can't wait to see KISS again, do you think they'll visit Germany again in a couple of years? Hopefully they will!

Eric was instructed probably by Paul and Gene to play most of what Peter Criss did in his solo. The only thing that Eric has added was the fast double bass part at the end.

Of course Eric can do more, much more but that is not the point of solos with Kiss. The solos with Kiss have to fit the band and songs and also of what they did in the 70s - wether people like that or not it is up to them.

Eric is a far better drummer than on this video. I'll give credit to Tommy for being in the right place at the right time, but he hasn't really done anything but copy Ace. I suspect that Bruce was probably at least contacted to put on Ace's makeup, and he probably wasn't having any of it.

I am and always have been a huge Kiss fan, but it's time to either hang it up, or lose the makeup again and bring back the Revenge lineup. Ace and Peter wont be back, so that's the next best thing to me

nah, i disagree. Tommy is an excellent guitarist and i'm glad to see him in makeup. He has worked with kiss in the past (psycho circus), and has shown his mettle. in some of the 80's hits, tommy had to rework some of the solos to match kiss' classic seventies sound. Bruce is good, but i think he's better off with grand funk railroad
