I think the context of the story is that Roy was a gay but homophobic at the same time. He couldn't accept the way he was. He hated gays, conservative people, women, etc. In the gay bar, he did not accept being touched by another man. But, he was so obecessed to anyone who comes to his friend Bo. He would get upset when he had any relation to a girl. So, he killed all girls whom Bo was interested. However, he was too overprotective to Bo. I think Roy did not only see Bo as a friend.
@jblcn1042 I remember those Southern California 80's Mall days...Arcades; Hot Dog on a Stick Chicks & their Goofy but slightly sexy uniforms; Orange Julius; Swatch Watch Kiosks; Miller's Outpost, shopping with a parent or grandparent at May Company & Robinson's, back when they were still around and before they became one company; shopping with a parent or grandparent at Bullock's; shopping at The Broadway with parents or grandparent; good ole' Montgomery Ward & Spencer Gifts shoplifting.
@jblcn1042 Oh yeah! Can't forget checking out new music at Licorice Pizza and/or Sam Goody & munching on pizza at Roundtable Pizza and/or Lampost Pizza.
The sad thing is, Charlie sheen never actually killed anyone untill he killed his friend.. he could of had a short sentence kinda commical in that sense but a very serious movie and thanks 4 posting it as i only seen this when i was about 7years old.. still has the same effect!
Thanks to Corry777 for posting it! I could not believe it when I found it on You Tube! It is still the best movie ever alot of people probably would feel the same if they saw it!

@vouassistiredai If you really think so, then you completely missed the context of the story. How fuckin' ridiculous is that!

Too bad there's no sequel to this film. I wanted to see what kind of sentence they'd give Bo for killing off his friend Roy..
