@hjkgkuh no. This is because this particular F1 was exported from the PSP GT and is therefore a standard vehicle. There is also a premium F2007 in GT5.

i do not play GT5, however you could probably knock an extra second or two off if you got slightly longer gear ratios, you want to hit the rev limiter on 7th gear at the end of the longest straight. now i do not know if you can adjust the cars at all, but if you can. my suggestion to you. otherwise great video. impressive gaming talent @ the controls of the F2007! do one at Daytone road course. lol

@sawyerbobby You can't do that in a real F1 car. The car sits so low in real life, it would scrape the track and most likely send the car flying. I'm not sure which manufacturer did it, but one modified their car to sit higher and limited the speed and sent it around the Nordschleife. It had quite an impressive time. But not near this.

@R0man81 Do you actually know how fast F1 car can be? If you think NFS Shift 2 has good physics your totally wrong. NFS's are complete shit compared to GT5 when it comes to reality. And this guy probably has ABS and some other driving aids on.

The shadows were the only thing stopping me thinking this was real for even a second.

The great time, you got has to have something to do with it being a standard car imported from a psp. Plus standard cars tend to negate things like oversteer. Premium cars are more realistic for sure. Do it with PS3s f2007 version not PSP

Nice drive, however having been to the ring for real there is no way an F1 car would touch most of the curbs they're angled at about 45 degrees most the time that would just launched you in the air and then into a barrier. Also the amount of bumps and gradients aren't captured in games. Still good lap all the same.
