i've been watching a lot of viggo mortensen interviews, and he tells a lot of these crazy stories and i'm starting to wonder if any of them are true. he is quite a prankster, and with that voice he could tell us anything and we'd all believe him.

@katiakatinka1 His dad is danish and mom is american. He is born in America. Yes, he has danish heritage, and looks like he appreciates it, as he lived in Denmark for a while. Am just saying, arnt most americans really europeans....then what is an american.....? He is a great actor....no doubt about. I dunno why he chooses such non-mainstream movies, he could easily get any role he wanted, he is quality all the way.

@chaotic1979 He speaks danish fluently, & eventhough he speaks perfect english you can tell he has to think about alot of the words before he talks & even if thats not cause of the danish its probably cause of the fluent spanish he also talks as he has said he often feels more comfortable talking spanish rather than english. What 100% american does that? You can hear it with pretty much every european actor/actress that even if they speak fluent english they still have an accent.
