have no clue what wrist pins are haha but i replaced lifters and the knocking went away

also could be piston slap...early LS1's had issues with pistons knocking...

you can slightly hear piston slap on startup but goes away.
@sethvalla yea on my 95 v6 3.4 camaro i hear some knocking noise when i start it then after 30 seconds it goes away?
should i go get that fixed asap?

there are several things thatl could be wrong on most ls1's they put crappy lifters in them and they go out causing a ticking sound. You may have a loose rocker arm or they were notorious for spinning rod bearings
