  • LOLOLOL!! This Tex dude is hilarious!!! xD

  • That was indeed a great episode! And amazing that they had microwave ovens back in 1972!! Incidentially I was born July 7 of 1972, 2 months before TJW made its debut on CBS.

  • I know they didn't use it back then but......

*insert Car Win Cue at 6:36*

  • The second bonus round was better than the first. The circles weren't that great because you couldn't control what prizes had a circle and you couldn't freeze them; which could have lead to the inspiration for the 90's versions bonus round. It was okay and simple but not alot of excitement involved, unless you're going for the car. While it is not the best I have seen it is still an okay bonus round for that time; especially when prizes were a big part of winnings at the time.

  • It does seem interesting that the 1972 and 1990 bonus rounds were prize rounds, with the 1990 version being a mix of Bullseye (freezing prizes), Joker 1972 (various prizes), and requiring matches.

  • I must say, Tex is my new favorite game show contestant. His reactions were priceless!!

  • Wait..doesn't Mary get a final spin?

  • No. In early years, the champion spins first and Tex got an equal spin and got the question right to win.

  • That Tex is totally charming. And funny. A real classic contestant.
