I chased these fuckers around the country back in 07 trying to hear this song. I was a day early in San Diego. Guess I'll try it again after the New Year. This Fuckin song jams and so does this recording.
@MrStavi1990 Bro you will have a blast. Ill be honest its a different vibe, feel, atmosphere or whatever the fuck im talking about haha. But man when they hit the stage its a feeling i have never felt with any other band. Have fun buddy
HOLY SHIT. I was born and raised in new jersey and now in Florida and 14. Started to listening to tool because of Gutair Hero World Tour(BLESS THAT GAME!lol). I want to go back NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that I saw that you typed that!
@MrStavi1990 i seen them for the first time at the mid hudson civic center ny. ive seen them 4 times since!!!im 39 and seen tons of concerts, shows(underground} being in hardcore bands and all-tool and a perfect circle are the best live performances you will EVER see!!!!they are the most talented musicians that dont "showboat" ive ever heard and with maynard able to sing harsh like in opiate and undertoe, and then sing so mezmorising like in 3 libres!!!!!!words cant describe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MrAmishjoe if you're close to camden, check out my band. we're playing fieldsboro this coming saturday. i'll be at izod on wednesday... i stay away from camden in fear of getting shot haha
@spiralouttoolband eh, not really close....Delaware here. And yes, camden blows. the ONLY time i go to camden is for a concert......because then you have 10,000+ crazy metal head white boys.....protection in numbers....and after seeing a concert THAT good....i think we were all pumped up enough to take over the world!
Any of you guys know if Maynard is very spiritual. with all the ´third eye´ and ´everything is connected´? or is he very down to earth? just curious, since the images on the background of the humen silhout look very spiritual
i could listen to tool everyday all day and never get tired of listening to them, actually that's pretty much what i've been doing the last few days...
Love the leather outfit & boots on Maynard! It's weird to see him wearing anything. I adore this man. I get to see him in a couple weeks, APC's coming to town. This will be my second time seeing that band, I've seen Puscifer twice, and Tool just once. I hope I live long enough to see them again. Puscifer will be next, a new CD due in October. Any day, now, Tool, it's only been 5 years! Adam, Justin and Danny, put the bong down and get busy!
im australian. they never come here. i want to see them before i die... call me gay, but they strike such a chord with me.... i tear up every time i watch these youtube vids.
aaaaand there we go - another beer, another tear. these guys kick so much ass. i hope they're making music when they're 60.
Hey man U need to see tool live... I have seen them approx. 10 times and everytime was such a great experience... They are truly one of the most talented bands of our lifetime...!!
Most of you people are dumbfounded dipshits. Tool for life. For better or worse. The message will transcend generations to come while you naysaying whiny babies will wither into oblivion without a whisper.
one thing i failed to note, is the caliber of evil he describes, the measurement of torture that we can only imagine. Imagination something that stumps me to this day, because it's only meant of what's possible then... i must believe otherwise.
even as I tear his fucking throat away, wear his scales like the banners of "honor" we thrive behind in our countries. and then laugh at them, and then say "you were warned time and time again, but you kept pushin it..."
Clearly the camera man is not a drummer. Excellent performance, but this is definitely a song where Danny Carrey shines, and he spent a lot of time watching Maynard.
@Minacious i'm a drummer "at heart" and i still think maynard makes the band. hear the music without the vocals.....(i sing, play guitar primarily, and love drums). how many albums have you heard from the rest of Nirvana released without the final touch???? You should be playing for a movie soundtrack, i think, with your opinions. I THOUGHT THE CAMERA MAN SPENT A LOT OF TIME FILMING THE "TRIPPY/think-out-side-the-minacious-box. you are why we can see why we are better than you...satan
@Minacious I think it has to do with drums being the backbone people take talent in that area for granted... Besides that people seem to automatically assume, since he's the frontman, that watching him and all his behavior will give a better understanding as to how and why each member of this band does what they do.
I've heard people say things about Tool like "THIS IS TOO SLOW," or "THERE'S NO BREAKDOWNS!!!" or "IT HAS NO BEAT!!!." Ignorant, soul-less piles of carbon-copied trash.
such a great band... i saw them in concert just this last july and it was my 1st concert. i could not have asked to see anything better it was amaaazing. love them.... id love to see them again.
i think it would be awesome if they played a gig in the desert no arena no building just stage, lights, them and millions of fans for one mega concert.. speakers the size of sky scrapers the energy would be like the na'vi when there chanting to the great tree. pure energy and power guided by TOOL
@Shitballs78 What do you mean would? I am pretty sure that happened to me at the Red Rocks show in 2010, the whole venue seemed to change places maybe 45 minutes after I ate some funny paper.
once i have seen a tool concert in a location i definitely know and knew before, it has less then bad accoustic. Because i have already seen other bands playing in that venue, all of them having bad sound. But tool managed to create excellent sound in there. ;-)

@makkasjakkas45 Dude, the funny thing is, I saw them in that EXACT environment. Google "The Gorge" in George, Washington. Greatest venue in the world, although Red Rocks is debatable
@makkasjakkas45 they played in the desert in Washington... The Gorge. It was the best show I have ever seen. I could see the water molecules vibrating and the laser lights tasted like green apples...
@makkasjakkas45 They have, it's called the Gorge Ampitheater in George, WA, which is in the middle of nowhere. It's a beautiful venue, overlooking the Columbia River. There's a great bootleg of Rosetta Stoned from their concert there in 2006 on You Tube, you should check it out. Maynard is very animated and all over the stage.
@Liberteh yea if the question was "Imagine if there was a thrash metal band that played in a freezing country and it was the opposite of tool playing in a desert?"
I'm simply speechless at how amazing they are. I think that, after seeing this especially, they're moving up on my list of favorite bands. Every day for the last two weeks I've just loved them more and more.
Fuck yeah, Tool forever!!! Must.Go.To.Their.Concert. Please come to this shit hole called Lithuania :D What, you still care about money? Just fucking come here!!!
I don’t intend to imply that Tool fans are any better than anyone else. But those who don’t “get it” don’t get it for a reason. With that said, be happy that you’re blessed with the ear and mind to understand and appreciate this genius. But, be careful not to condemn those who don’t.
@ashheap My favorite note is the last note. I believe it's a Bb as well (minor 6th up from root-D)...same as the Bb by justin in the middle. I just noticed that they're the same note. Thats cool. They sounded completely different. I love tool.

Same. I've listened to Tool since 1998, and they're still my favorite band. I find it hard to listen to other music because it just pales in comparison. Meshuggah, Isis, Ozric Tentacles and Covenant being the only bands that can compete with the entity that is Tool. :P
Tool was the first band I ever saw live. Easily one of the best experiences I've had in my life was yelling "Learn to swim" with 10,000 + people or whatever it was. I like the song "Pushit" so much that I made a video on it. LOl.
Idk bout the best version Ive got a live pushit song that like 15mins long they sing it kinda differently i wish someone who upload it all i have is the song no vid, anybody heard it? maynard says in the beginning, something about seeing the song in a new light
@dzzzzzt I''m thinking you meant you haven't seen 'em live before. I'm barely exaggerating when I say you should kill someone for their ticket & feel bad about it later. Cheers
I have been away from my family for over 4 years now. Everytime I listen to this song makes me...... hopeful:(

Tool was the first band I ever saw live. Easily one of the best experiences I've had in my life was yelling "Learn to swim" with 10,000 + people or whatever it was. I like the song "Pushit" so much that I made a video on it. LOl.
MellowChaos 1 year ago
Idk bout the best version Ive got a live pushit song that like 15mins long they sing it kinda differently i wish someone who upload it all i have is the song no vid, anybody heard it? maynard says in the beginning, something about seeing the song in a new light

i've watched this video about 50 times since i've favorited... 2:55-3:02 is probably the most passionate thing I've heard when it comes to vocals.

@dzzzzzt I''m thinking you meant you haven't seen 'em live before. I'm barely exaggerating when I say you should kill someone for their ticket & feel bad about it later. Cheers
