  • I have been away from my family for over 4 years now. Everytime I listen to this song makes me...... hopeful:(

  • Go back to the village, you leather daddy freak. Tool sucks. Worst band ever.

  • @jwatson626 Your loss...

  • @jwatson626 Thanks for wasting time of your life to post that on a Tool video! :)

Oh, and thanks for helping with the views, you doofus.

  • @berryhill88 You're welcome. And thank YOU for continuing to prove that Tool fans are a bunch of retards.

  • @jwatson626 Your arguments are so valid and thought-provoking, wow. And oh, so mature.

  • @berryhill88 That's because I'm smarter than you and more mature than you.

  • @jwatson626 Yup, you clearly stated that fact in your previous comments.

  • The Lateralus tour setlists were fucking unreal.

  • I chased these fuckers around the country back in 07 trying to hear this song. I was a day early in San Diego. Guess I'll try it again after the New Year. This Fuckin song jams and so does this recording.

  • i just bought my FLOOR SEATS AT TD GARDEN OMG I'M GOING TO FUCKING DIE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS CONCERT SINCE I WAS 10, I'M 18 NOW

  • @FuckYourGodYourLord !!!!! you couldn't say better :D

  • THEY ARE PLAYING IN NJ!!!! I am so fucking excited. my first tool concert. i think im going to die.

  • @MrStavi1990 Bro you will have a blast. Ill be honest its a different vibe, feel, atmosphere or whatever the fuck im talking about haha. But man when they hit the stage its a feeling i have never felt with any other band. Have fun buddy

  • @MrStavi1990

HOLY SHIT. I was born and raised in new jersey and now in Florida and 14. Started to listening to tool because of Gutair Hero World Tour(BLESS THAT GAME!lol). I want to go back NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that I saw that you typed that!

  • @MrStavi1990 i seen them for the first time at the mid hudson civic center ny. ive seen them 4 times since!!!im 39 and seen tons of concerts, shows(underground} being in hardcore bands and all-tool and a perfect circle are the best live performances you will EVER see!!!!they are the most talented musicians that dont "showboat" ive ever heard and with maynard able to sing harsh like in opiate and undertoe, and then sing so mezmorising like in 3 libres!!!!!!words cant describe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrStavi1990 I just got home from the camden show. Tool ruins all live music...because you know no show will ever be that good again!

  • @MrAmishjoe if you're close to camden, check out my band. we're playing fieldsboro this coming saturday. i'll be at izod on wednesday... i stay away from camden in fear of getting shot haha

  • @spiralouttoolband eh, not really close....Delaware here. And yes, camden blows. the ONLY time i go to camden is for a concert......because then you have 10,000+ crazy metal head white boys.....protection in numbers....and after seeing a concert THAT good....i think we were all pumped up enough to take over the world!

  • @MrStavi1990 that was my exact reaction. dude spilled beer on my favorite lateralus hoodie, and I gave not one shit. hell, he bought me one for it.

  • @ 7:48 im obsessed with that keychange!

  • Any of you guys know if Maynard is very spiritual. with all the ´third eye´ and ´everything is connected´? or is he very down to earth? just curious, since the images on the background of the humen silhout look very spiritual

  • fkn loooove tool!!!!! nothin like em before or since or will ever be!!

  • FUCK YES Maynard James Kenan....when is the new TOOL album comin' out.!!!!!!!!

  • I would kill to see these guys live :)

  • @asdq4l YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I DID TO SEE THEM LIVE!

  • @slaytura i bet! are they amazing?

  • @asdq4l YEAH! I BROKE MY ARM TO SEE THEM!

  • omfg i would've had a head-gasm if i were there

  • @FuckYourGodYourLord Your UGLY and you know it, god bless you thats all I have to say

  • Lovers song

  • I just farted

  • Take care not to make me enter, if I do we both may disappear

  • Do you think Maynard has taken a shit before?

  • this song and maynard just makes me tear off my skin from all of my body and pushit for more pain!!! fuuuck! grrrrrrrr

  • If Tool was a real drug I would be smoking it through a crack pipe in a dark alley right now sucking a pimps dick for my next hit.

  • fuck this shit on this concert i did it on mush !!!!! fuck to be sober !!

  • @disordermate how was it? low dose/high dose? feel uncomfortable at any point?

really wanna do shrooms next time (hopefully) i c them but aint sure if i could stand being around thousands of people on them.

  • i could listen to tool everyday all day and never get tired of listening to them, actually that's pretty much what i've been doing the last few days...

  • Love the leather outfit & boots on Maynard! It's weird to see him wearing anything. I adore this man. I get to see him in a couple weeks, APC's coming to town. This will be my second time seeing that band, I've seen Puscifer twice, and Tool just once. I hope I live long enough to see them again. Puscifer will be next, a new CD due in October. Any day, now, Tool, it's only been 5 years! Adam, Justin and Danny, put the bong down and get busy!

  • Am I alone listening to Tool only? It never gets old for me. So deep their music is... For all emotions, whether you sad, happy, angry....

  • @Dihital no.

  • @Dihital right there with you... almost exclusive... most everything else sounds like shit now and means nothing

the 3 that revolve most in my player is Tool, Sabbath, and Godsmack

  • im australian. they never come here. i want to see them before i die... call me gay, but they strike such a chord with me.... i tear up every time i watch these youtube vids.

aaaaand there we go - another beer, another tear. these guys kick so much ass. i hope they're making music when they're 60.

  • @trewyntamblyn

Hey man U need to see tool live... I have seen them approx. 10 times and everytime was such a great experience... They are truly one of the most talented bands of our lifetime...!!

  • @trewyntamblyn They were just in Australia in January, where were you?

  • Most of you people are dumbfounded dipshits. Tool for life. For better or worse. The message will transcend generations to come while you naysaying whiny babies will wither into oblivion without a whisper.

  • 5 people wanted to pushit (the dislike button i mean)

  • hey keenan, why r there two screens?

  • Definitely one of the concerts you don't want to be black out drunk for!! trust me I'm a professional.

  • @MrMNblizzard Thats a good one man haha. Yeah I was blacked out my first Tool concert and i have regretted it ever since.

  • @Shitballs78 haha That sucks man I was the sober cab so I lucked out.

  • @MrMNblizzard During the one and only Tool concert I attended I stood like a statue the whole time. Sadly they disappointed.

  • @lalautranziciji

Were you dead at the time? Seriously? Sound + Visuals = our generations' Pink Floyd

  • Yep, this is the band that I will pay to play on my grave on the day of the funeral.

  • who the fuck disliked the best push it performance ever? Trollin' little Bitches

  • hell yeah i getta go see perfect circle in concert its as close as ill ever get to see tool sadly

  • @iloveVincentV Why? Tool will tour again, probably in the next couple years.

  • @dreamscape03 i really really hope:)

  • @dreamscape03 they are actually working on an album now !!!!!!!!!!

  • my dreams: drive nurburgring. live in a hotel penthouse for a year. see tool when they're in their 50's (they are just getting better and better).

anyone who doesnt think danny is god, can go ride a pair of heelys.

  • @gizvidz4living maby danny, adam and justin, but maynard has really lost it

  • one thing i failed to note, is the caliber of evil he describes, the measurement of torture that we can only imagine. Imagination something that stumps me to this day, because it's only meant of what's possible then... i must believe otherwise.

even as I tear his fucking throat away, wear his scales like the banners of "honor" we thrive behind in our countries. and then laugh at them, and then say "you were warned time and time again, but you kept pushin it..."

  • 3:36 - 3:47 I think the drum set is going to need a new asshole after that punishment.

  • man i wish tool would tour more saw them 2 times they put on a fucken good show

  • i didnt see ANY gap here

  • I'm pleased with the quality of this recording for a live gig!

  • Every time I see Tool live I have to buy new socks

  • OMG! Tool is coming to Auckland, New Zealand, on Friday 21 January for the Big Day Out! I cant wait!

  • Ive seen Tool live 6 times, get chills every time I think about it..still haven't seen them perform this song though..Ill die happy when I do

  • 9:16 and on HAHAA HEAD BANG!!!!!!

  • who are the 4 jack offs that disliked this?

  • Clearly the camera man is not a drummer. Excellent performance, but this is definitely a song where Danny Carrey shines, and he spent a lot of time watching Maynard.

  • @Minacious i'm a drummer "at heart" and i still think maynard makes the band. hear the music without the vocals.....(i sing, play guitar primarily, and love drums). how many albums have you heard from the rest of Nirvana released without the final touch???? You should be playing for a movie soundtrack, i think, with your opinions. I THOUGHT THE CAMERA MAN SPENT A LOT OF TIME FILMING THE "TRIPPY/think-out-side-the-minacious-box. you are why we can see why we are better than you...satan

  • @danielsternhagen I am not a psychologist, but I do think that you should consider therapy.

  • @Minacious I think it has to do with drums being the backbone people take talent in that area for granted... Besides that people seem to automatically assume, since he's the frontman, that watching him and all his behavior will give a better understanding as to how and why each member of this band does what they do.

  • Exeptional sound quolity .. Well done. I cohght this tour in Sydney AWSOME ;)

  • I've heard people say things about Tool like "THIS IS TOO SLOW," or "THERE'S NO BREAKDOWNS!!!" or "IT HAS NO BEAT!!!." Ignorant, soul-less piles of carbon-copied trash.

    Tool for Life ♥

  • such a great band... i saw them in concert just this last july and it was my 1st concert. i could not have asked to see anything better it was amaaazing. love them.... id love to see them again.

  • i think it would be awesome if they played a gig in the desert no arena no building just stage, lights, them and millions of fans for one mega concert.. speakers the size of sky scrapers the energy would be like the na'vi when there chanting to the great tree. pure energy and power guided by TOOL

  • @makkasjakkas45 Wow that would kick ass!!! That would be an experience of a lifetime!!!

  • @Shitballs78 What do you mean would? I am pretty sure that happened to me at the Red Rocks show in 2010, the whole venue seemed to change places maybe 45 minutes after I ate some funny paper.

  • @makkasjakkas45 the only reason that will never happen is because they only play at places with great acoustics and open spaces arent great for that

  • @Shnare

once i have seen a tool concert in a location i definitely know and knew before, it has less then bad accoustic. Because i have already seen other bands playing in that venue, all of them having bad sound. But tool managed to create excellent sound in there. ;-)

  • @makkasjakkas45 I hope nothing TOOL ever does is comparable to anything from Avatar.

  • @makkasjakkas45 Have you ever been to the Gorge in George, WA. Best venue in North America....hands down. Saw them rock it and dusk.....it was surreal.

  • @makkasjakkas45 That would be the only event I would be okay dying at.

  • @makkasjakkas45 Good idea but Avatar sucks huge nuts. If it wasn't in 3D it would be terribly mediocre

  • @makkasjakkas45 what are your drugs and whrre can i get them? :D

  • @der2h2h its called DMT. coming to a drug dealer near you! :D

  • @makkasjakkas45 that's doubtful. DMT is not likely to appear within 1000' of your average drug dealer.

  • @dreamscape03 yes that is very true...Rarest drug out there..(never done it though)

  • Comment removed

  • @makkasjakkas45 Dude, the funny thing is, I saw them in that EXACT environment. Google "The Gorge" in George, Washington. Greatest venue in the world, although Red Rocks is debatable

  • @makkasjakkas45 they played in the desert in Washington... The Gorge. It was the best show I have ever seen. I could see the water molecules vibrating and the laser lights tasted like green apples...

  • @makkasjakkas45 dunno about the na'vi bit, but id sign up for it anyway!

  • @makkasjakkas45 They have, it's called the Gorge Ampitheater in George, WA, which is in the middle of nowhere. It's a beautiful venue, overlooking the Columbia River. There's a great bootleg of Rosetta Stoned from their concert there in 2006 on You Tube, you should check it out. Maynard is very animated and all over the stage.

  • @makkasjakkas45 that is so epic.

  • @makkasjakkas45 Metallica - Moscow - Monsters of Rock 1991 is your anwser

  • @Liberteh yea if the question was "Imagine if there was a thrash metal band that played in a freezing country and it was the opposite of tool playing in a desert?"

  • TOOL for ever. the greatest band ever!!!!!!

  • loved being in my teenage years growing up to this album... brilliant times... and memories relived

  • I'm simply speechless at how amazing they are. I think that, after seeing this especially, they're moving up on my list of favorite bands. Every day for the last two weeks I've just loved them more and more.

  • I cant even express how much i love too.

  • I always fight to this song it's awesome

  • Fuck yeah, Tool forever!!! Must.Go.To.Their.Concert. Please come to this shit hole called Lithuania :D What, you still care about money? Just fucking come here!!!

  • the maynard silhouette . . .

  • I don’t intend to imply that Tool fans are any better than anyone else. But those who don’t “get it” don’t get it for a reason. With that said, be happy that you’re blessed with the ear and mind to understand and appreciate this genius. But, be careful not to condemn those who don’t.

  • That is one of the most beautiful things i have ever heard!

  • Their amazing like always. Maynard's singing didnt go from good to shitty it went from good to even better as time goes on when they play live. <3

  • There are four deaf people on Youtube.

  • God damn, this whole performance gave me the chills.

  • his moves are epic

  • My favorite part is the bflat coming out of the middle section. Fuckin Justin Chancellor.

  • @ashheap

    Hey dumbass! That's an F.

  • @ashheap My favorite note is the last note. I believe it's a Bb as well (minor 6th up from root-D)...same as the Bb by justin in the middle. I just noticed that they're the same note. Thats cool. They sounded completely different. I love tool.

  • anyone know where the live version on the salival album was was recorded?

  • best song ever by the best band ever. i wish i was just half as brilliant as MJK.

  • Oh god do I love this

  • i love how if you actually pay attention to the lyrics, you kinda have to think about it to understand what hes saying.

  • I agree, there is just no words to describe what this song does to me. Its amazing. I get fucking chills.

  • Amazing. Just fucking amazing.

  • I eargasmed from "if when i say i might fade like sigh if i stay" to the end.

  • i like how hes never like the center of attention at their shows, hes just off in the dark alone, being himself.

  • I could listen to this music any tme

  • I want to know the three ass clowns that gave this a thumbs down. This is raw talent.

  • @SnootchieBootchies16 Make that 4 ass clowns

  • What is it about them that obsesses us so? For me it's that I have grown so much listening it's a one-sided relationship but it works. If u allow them in, they take u somewhere u didn't know u could go...

  • I am in love. I don't know if anyone out there truly feels like me, When I wake up in the morning the first thought in my head is tool when I fall asleep it's listening to tool on my headphones they encompass my life... They are my everyday soundtrack.

  • @thestarlajune

Same. I've listened to Tool since 1998, and they're still my favorite band. I find it hard to listen to other music because it just pales in comparison. Meshuggah, Isis, Ozric Tentacles and Covenant being the only bands that can compete with the entity that is Tool. :P

  • wish I could've been there

  • fuck the 3 losers

  • @grigir4o I think they're breeding... :/

  • fucking tool is the greatest Maynrad is god

  • the best concert I ever been !!!!! pepsi center ,denver november 21 2007 !!!

  • i wanna ask maynard how he can dance with 2d images like they are his friends!!!

  • Maynard has unlimited breath.

  • speechless

  • aenima is the best Tool album in my perspective, amazing songs on it

  • those are some beastly pants. lol more love to tool than all the galaxies combined.

  • I must persuade you another waaay! epic

  • The best version was actually the original... Portland 1998... the one they put on the album - was there ty ty...

  • why did I sell this DVD?

  • THE band i must see before i die

  • @riffman616 once you see them youll die XD, thats why ive been reincarnated thrice

  • @riffman616 done and done on my end. but i must see them more than once!

  • @riffman616 they wont dissapoint ya.

  • @riffman616

Tool was the first band I ever saw live. Easily one of the best experiences I've had in my life was yelling "Learn to swim" with 10,000 + people or whatever it was. I like the song "Pushit" so much that I made a video on it. LOl.

  • Idk bout the best version Ive got a live pushit song that like 15mins long they sing it kinda differently i wish someone who upload it all i have is the song no vid, anybody heard it? maynard says in the beginning, something about seeing the song in a new light

  • @slimshady24th

Possibly Pushit Live from the Saliva DVD?

  • I get the fucking chills listening to Tool! Thanks for uploading!

  • This video needs a HD version.

  • i've watched this video about 50 times since i've favorited... 2:55-3:02 is probably the most passionate thing I've heard when it comes to vocals.

  • @epiphysis

Agreed. It sends shivers down my spine every time. Almost angelic.

  • incredible.

i want a time machine so that i can visit all of tool's live performances as many times as i want.

  • tool is better than sex, drugs, and $1 million dollars put together

  • My heart broke at 3:00 jesus christ hhis voice is amazing!

  • @epiphysis yeah, it has some.. mystic power in it. it always amazes me, especially when i hear it live (in videos, of course).

  • @epiphysis yeah, it has some.. mystic power in it. it always amazes me, especially when i hear it live (in videos, of course).

  • @dzzzzzt I''m thinking you meant you haven't seen 'em live before. I'm barely exaggerating when I say you should kill someone for their ticket & feel bad about it later. Cheers

  • maynards voice has the power to save the earth

  • @auroblade15 lol

  • @auroblade15

    I lol'd, good one. And ofcourse, you're right. :D

  • this was my first tool show, the venue, the band, the city, all great, almost shit myself when they started to play this!!!!!!

  • TOOL is LSD...

    best psychedelic band ever...

  • fuckin' awesome

  • First time I saw tool was in NJ in 97. the show made a fan out of me from that point on.

  • good all around recording. their hard to come by
