  • I thought TEACHING a kid to do pull a whole shot with his car made me feel old but that song just made it worse!!!

  • The end of this video made me really hungry.

  • Diana hit #1 in Billboard, 5-29-76. God bless ya, Miss Diana. Thanx for postin' it!

  • They should have a Love Button...

  • Not a bad video for a phenomenal piece of music. I remember those tall ship ceremonies back in ’76--my parents took me to see one of those things. They’re actually written about by Stephen King in one of the Dark Tower books--when Jake Chambers is reintroduced in “The Drawing of the Three” there’s some tall ship party nearby. Oh, and I was his same age when this came out. Lots of memories, here.

  • Monica hit #1 with a sample of this song's High Hats and Piano for her song "The First Night". Check it out, it's also a good song - Fuzzy Soul Tiger

  • Happy Birthday Diana

  • Super bon!!!Belles années!!♥♥

  • 4 folks have SOME kinda hangover, for not likin' this song! Billboard's 437th #1 hit of the rock era. God bless ya, Miss Diana! Hugs to you!

  • from nativeheart 4U- TO NY3UVL714.- i have no ideal who you are and further more, i don't want to know. as for your response to my comment concerning this video is crazy! what gives you the right to make a big deal over a silly video when i was merely just stating an opinion. nothing serious, not demeaning, just an opinion. i wasn't bothering anyone but mnding my own business. in future opinions of mine, plz just leave me alone ok? this whole thing is crazy.

  • Billboard's #15 song of '76. Diana hit #1 soul, and pop, #19 AC in Billboard. Like her Billie Holliday she improvised in there, right, gang? God bless ya, Miss Diana!

  • I love this song

  • HIP HOP FUN FACT: this beat was sample by bushwick bill of the geto boys song called ''the other damn level of the game.''

  • Love Hangover.....God this song never grows old. It is as fresh today, as it was over 30 years ago.....They don't make them like this anymore....

  • Absolutely One Of My Favorite Songs I Could Listen To It All Day

  • one of the greatest 70's bass groove, simple and very effective, when played correctly.

  • 1:48 -- Is that Patty Hearst? Wow, she really was beautiful

  • This is a commercial for sweets!

  • video sucks but the song is awesome. don't understand the video having anything to do with this type of song.

  • @nativeheart4u The video has everything to do with the song. These are the images of 1976 the year this record came out. The music underscores the scenes from that year.

  • diana ross great woman, love hangeover great music and....1:42 ian smith great man.

  • Ahh so many memories.....dancing......dancing......! Thanks Sarah

  • Charles Hamilton Let Me Live 1:14

  • 1:14 to 1:26

  • Captures the vibe of the era, a work of art.

  • Is this video preaching a love message or something? Cuz I don't get it. The song is so sexy and the video doesn't have anything to do with the song.

  • this video is brilliant !!!

  • have always loved this song, hot, you go Ms Diana

  • when I listen this song I feel higher...yeah!!! sweet love...

  • Super Hot!!!! I love this visual interpretation!!! Go Girl!!!!!

  • 1976 a hot year phew! and what a hot tune from diana ,sounding sexy and sensual.nice rhythm guitar ,cool tune beat any of todays nasty shit!!

  • yes Diana, the beginning is really funny. It reminds me that sometimes even mega stars watch youtube. And when they usually just look at their own shit so they can read all the comments of the retarded people who as a medium to reach out.

  • speak for yourself

  • funny...the beginning that is

diana, this is one of your best songs

brings back memories of my dad driving on the FDR drive with us in Manhattan on a summer day in 1976

  • if theres a cure for this

    i dont want it,

    i dont want it

  • This was on the self-titled Diana Ross LP that was released the second week of February 1976. At the same time, a ballad from it was also issued as a single, "I Thought It Took A Little Time." But "Love Hangover" wouldn't wait and Motown issued the edited 45 version of it by late March and it zoomed to No. 1, as it was bound too. But by doing that ,"Hangover" essentially killed the chance the "Time" single needed to build, and it stalled out on Billboard at No. 47.

  • This is awesome! Thanks so much for posting this. "Love Hangover" was #1 on the popular music chart the day I was born!

  • im only 20 and i love this song!!

  • @eisha1011

    me to !!!

  • @eisha1011 you are wise beyond your years my young son!

  • @eisha1011 OF COURSE......WE who are now in our 50's and 60's had the best MUSIC industry of ALL TIME back in the 1960's and the 1970's.......IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE TIME ! ! Wish you could have seen it.......

  • I love Diana Ross in any song she sings. I love this song but she just rules, totally! Bless you Diana always!

  • this is a great natural high...the memories of childhood make me feel alive

  • On a scale of 1-10, DRto me is probably a "7"... but THIS one is SO DAMN BAD... was in L.A. and caught it on Sirius this week. Maybe I've played it here 10-12 times since I got back ! !

  • this is incredible! you did a great job...i swear, i thought i was on e or something! wow...thanks! great song, great video...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG...

  • When she laughs at 3:10 sounds like an out-take inwhich the producer threw that in as bonus as if that' s the case

    That's an awesome Producer

  • You sure she's "laughing"? Seems like it could be something like a "yearning" sound she's making -- as if to say I WANT MORE... hmmm... guess it worth debating right ?? Ha... either way, great song... !

  • That guitar riff is smokin'!!

  • love the Motown classics!

  • can i tell you a secret??

this is one of my favorite songs. LOL

  • Very interesting clip. "Love Hangover" is my fave Diana Ross song, and one of my all-time fave disco tracks.

  • brings back alot of memories--i was a kid when this song came out. taskes me back to brooklyn

  • I love this song because its like she is on drugs...like its a hangover..its a very sexy song!!!

  • disco forever

  • Heeyyyy SEXY HUSBAND!

  • I am 45 and still addicted to this song. I remember when I first heard it. My mom had her black Pinto with the blue stripe down the middle and the Mag wheels. We were driving down Mission Street in 1975...

  • Good recall! For me it was that funky guitar riff that just had you grooving. Who said that 70's music was no good?

  • diana's legendry voice&music can make anyone fall in love with her cause she's one of a kind!!

  • Is it weird that I'm 19 and I'm addicted to this song??? Lol

  • no its not i'm 16 i love this song!!!

  • why would it be weird to have great taste in music. Count yourself lucky, some people take all their youth before they start to appreciate quality music. And some never do!!!!!!

  • no its not Im 21 :-) I loveeeeeee oldies!

  • lololol im 16 (:

  • they dont make smooth music like this any more

  • This is such a freakin' awesome video..Thanks for sharing!!

  • Seeing this music video sure made me hungry!

  • I enjoyed watching all the old stuff and the music was great.

  • Mc Solaar also sampled it on Paradisiaque.

Must be one of the most sampled songs behind Genius of Love by the Tom Tom Club.

  • a chaque un son paradis! the MC Solaar was actually my introduction to this song (and I'm 44yo!)

  • when I hear this song, I feel sooooooooooooo high! I LOVE IT! thanx 4 posting...

  • hahaha i feel u

  • Will Smith Freakin this check it out...

  • yea his "version" is hella funky

  • Wow I had no idea this song has been sampled so many times. The Geto Boys sampled it with The Other Level and Master P sampled it with Gangsta B.

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Monica remade this song and made it hers "The First Night"

  • Classic Disco from Diana the ultimate DIVA!

  • a tremendous song,,, to make..some things,,,

  • Bone Thugs sampled this beat - Ready 4 War.

  • fantastico

  • Best disco break ever. This song will always be brilliant and well ahead of its time! Remixed to death in the late 90's house scene.

  • i luv the fact this video has nothing to do with the song

  • Eeven though i was born in 79' my mum always played this when she was doing house work, been one of my faves since! Love it!

  • This song is a little bit of a copy of Donna Summer's song "Love to Love You Baby", (which came out the year before), with the moaning, but it's still a good song though.

  • These time capsule vids are awesome!!!!

  • Tall ships, Viking 1 & 2, Jimmy Carter....I was there for all of it.

Good fucking lord do I feel old :(

  • Was this song released before Love to Love You Baby by Donna Summer? I was 10 years old when Love Hangover was released. I remember it well.

  • "Love To Love You Baby" (album and 45) were available by November 1975. "Love Hangover," even on the album first, wasn't around until February 1976. By the time the "Love Hangover" single was out, Donna Summer's next hit, a disco-fied remake of Barry Manilow's "Could It Be Magic" was on the scene too.

  • Ahhh brings back memories. I had forgotten the name of this tune decades ago but every once in a while it would surface and torment me because I couldnt remember. The video is interesting and original.

  • The video dope nuff said

  • The good ol' days!

  • THE hottest, most sensual song of ALL TIME. Only Marvin comes close. Thx for the time capsule !!

  • Toke up an Kickin back man~

  • Memories... .

  • the song is great, the video sucks! Sorry!

  • The video is bizarre but the 'current events' parts of it are compelling. The video and song have nothing to do with each other except for the era they represent.

  • is this the actual video for the song?

  • I agree. While it odd combo this clip showing the news headlines/cultral events of 1976 is actually very good.

  • It does suck!!!! But I can't find this version on another vid!

  • western propaganda where is the great Kim Il Sung?

  • Thanks

    Great video

Takes me back to the early/middle of the that great disco era.

  • The first time heard this song I was 18.It's remind me.Of my one of best friends that .I always love to called my sister. she gone but I will remeber her.
