OK WOW! Went to an Indian wedding yesterday where all my family paid $45 to have their hair done professionally. I watched your video 2x and then (WITHOUT A MIRROR!) did this updo in 20 minutes. As a licensed cosmetologist, you did nicely with this style...it is very neat and put together.....try adding a little volumn/height so it isn't so flat on the sides and tops....practice that and see how your outcome will be with that tecnique. You are very pretty and seem so sweet.

QUESTION!!!!!!!!!: my dance class and i are deciding what hair do to use for the recital. there is a bit of jumping and turning. do you have any recommendations for keeping it in? or is there a more stable type of updo similar to this?

@saladlover5 I would recommend using plenty of bobbly pins, as well as extra firm hold hairspray. Test out the style prior to your recital. Also, don't do this style on clean hair...make sure it's been at least 24 hours since you've washed your hair, as super clean hair will not hold for long. Good luck!

This is PERFECT. This style I can do by myself for my wedding! We plan to elope and the groom wants to leave real early in the morning. What hairdresser will do your hair at 6am? @hikaitie Depends on the size of the flowers. You can put small bud flowers throughout the back of the style (among curls), or put a larger one on the side. Just play around with what you have and see what works for you :-)

@CriticizingYou This happens when you style freshly washed hair, as your hair is qiute silky after being washed. This is the reason I recommend waiting a day or two after washing your hair. Also, using products (such as a wax or hairspray) can help it to stay in place.

As for your fringe...it really depends on the length of it. You can experiment with cute clips if you want it off your face, or just comb it neatly and leave it at that. Either way, it will still look effective! Let me know how it goes! xx

It should be if you do it correctly...don't do this style with freshly washed hair as it's harder to work with. Apply your pins so they are secure, and then spray with a hairspray to finish. Mine lasted all day with no problem :-)
