6.0 Powerstroke start up after head stud install.

I just finished doing the head gaskets and head studs on my 6.0 550 how long does it take to build your oil pressure back up I cranked it till the batteries died and it didn't even try to start

people say with a tunner and the head studs and gaskets replaced the 6.0 will out run any 7.3 but i still love the 7.3

I have an 04 with the 6.0 and my head gaskets and egr cooler are out. I'm gonna do the gaskets, studs, and egr delete. How long did it take take and it apart and reassemble it complete to start-up?

Ive got an 05 6.0 and im thinkin about doin the egr delete and head studs in my garage with the cab on.. how long did it take you to do the work? was it as difficult as everyone sais it is?

Thats good to know about being able to leave the motor and cab all bolted up for head studs! Everybody says head studs and egr delete and the 6.0 is one bad ass long lasting fucking diesel! I'm looking for an excursion with the 6.0. I love that motor!!

@f100stroker347 Neither. We did all the engine work with the cab on and the block and trans bolted up. Not as bad as it looks to do.

it  wanst low on compression. it had to build its oil pressure back up for the injectors since the truck was took apart to put the head studs in

It sounds like the compression is low in a cylinder.
