You're right viennamay. Regine's talent was taught, her father trained her to sing in the water to hone her voice per her interview. Charice's voice is inborn, that surprised even her Mom. Regine's past her prime to be discovered internationally, lots of young talents around, esp. from American Idol and BGT.
