my lightinn aint to gooood... but its not all too long per day... i really want sand in mine but... well... i here if it gets sucked in ur filter it will ruin it ??? !!! ??? !!! And by the way u have like my... DREAM TANK LOL
lol Well yeah sand ruins the filter but not if the filter intake is high enough. Mine is about 12" above the sand so there's almost no possible way of it getting it up there.
One thing I hate is that I use a magnet cleaner and sand gets between it and scratches my glass... mainly at the bottom. Other than that, the tank is amazing. There's a lot of surface area and it's not as long as a 55 gallon.
The only complaint I have is that I have sand and using a magnet cleaner, sometimes the sand gets stuck in between so I have scratches at the bottom of the tank. :(
But over all, really good stuff and lighting made my plants grow like crazy!
i am kinda sad right now i bought 6 gold fish last week one died friday another saturday moring and another saturday night but i also have one giant danio and a black moor
Hmm well goldfish are more of a pond fish since they grow extremely big. Plus, they're pretty messy as far as the amount of waste they produce. You should try other fish. :) Maybe it's your temperature. Goldfish prefer colder water.
Hah! Sweet, thanks! :) Do the Congo Tetras mate?!? DO THEY?!? Very often actually! But they never hatch of course 'cause it's a feeding frenzy in the tank when they spawn! Other fish follow them and eat every single egg.
i went to my local pet store to get a discus and they were 85$ o.O omg! so i said screw it, im getiing guppies lol. so know i breed guppies! still want a discus though
Oh yeah, they're expensive. lol After a while, I just quit buying 'cause they'd mysteriously die after having them for months! Guppies are indeed pretty. :) You should introduce awesome new colors you find at the stores. :)
I believe so... but the males are actually kinda big... about 3 1/2 inches long... I added annotations so check out the video again and it'll point out my Congos.
lol Thanks! :) It's hard to give up Discus!! I bought 5 and 2 of them lived. Then about another 5 from a different place and none from that order lived. So I still have those same Discus. I don't get it... I add Discus and they don't live! :(
I had given up for just a little while but what can I say, I'm a sucker for Discus. The frustrating part is that I keep up with weekly water changes so my water is nice and clean.
Wow! Nice tank. Check out my tanks and tell me what you think!!
