  • Heath ledger is the number 2 joker. Number 1 is mark hamill of course, and number 3 is jack nicholson.

  • So if you put a bunch of christians in a hay baler would you have a christian bale?

  • Hahahaha

    Can't stop laughing

Then again when I saw the movie

I could only thing about heath leger (the joker)

  • this Bruce Wayne's sounds better than Bale

  • At the end. uuuuugh!!!! Heath turned out to be, pretty much, the character everyone was looking forward to. XD

  • Heath Ledger is really overshadowing all the other actors in the movie

  • Lay off of Bale He did a great job, and elevated Ledgers performance by playing Batman as he should be-the ying to Jokers yang

With TDK script, the best actor ever could play Batman and the worst actor ever could play the Joker and the Joker STILL would be the memorable, "interesting" character everyone talks about. It is the nature of the characters-it has nothing to do with the actors.

Imo, Bale and Eckhart had much more difficult roles in TDK than Ledger. Flashy doesn't = difficult

  • dumbass the writers didnt do much with the joker that was all heath. ledger was the better actor and bale is a fucking dick did you hear the video of the ass hole giveing out to a guy for doing his job

  • I would disagree because the writers did do quite a bit of work to get the joker like he is in the film. Ledger obviously was awesome in the film but some of the dialogue that he's given is genius!

  • anybody else think its funny when he sighs

  • He says he's not crazy so he can try to hide his insanity which he is clearly devouted to throughout the WHOLE FILM.

  • Haha poor Christian Bale - "Sigh!"

  • Hahaha great. I feel with you Christian Bale

  • The only perfect joker would be Mark Hammell(sp) who was Luke Skywalker! If you even seen Batman cartoons he does the voice for the joker!

  • hmm... so can anyone give an example of what was so great about Ledger's Joker performance? I mean I can EASILY see anyone acting that personality that Ledger did... I mean it's cooler cuz he seemed more like a threat than the previous Joker actors but it's still not Joker and it's still just a performance. I mean I heard all this greif then I watched the film WAITING for this great performance and all I got was nervous, shy, slow, calm, villain. Didn't look that hard o0

  • actully this joker, is how the ORGINAL Joker came off in his first two apperences, the joker we knew and love(Mark Hamell, and jack nichoelson) where amazing in their own right. people like heath legders joker, because he's darker, actully crazy, and, it fits perfectly into Nolan's Dark gritty world of his Batman!! he's a re-imagened version of the joker, and also,Nobody thoguth heath could play the joker.

  • well.. not really the ORIGINAL but I've been informed that it was one of the Joker's so I let that one go already. I still prefer the other kind of Joker but yeah lol I did like that Heath was darker, but I didn't really see the "crazy" in him. I mean it's pretty twisted to be evil but nto as twisted as it could be. ^^; I fully understand why the Joker acted the way he did now already =] And hey, I wouldn't have doubted him. o.O Wonder how Johnny Depp would be playin the guy. o.o

  • Did I not say that? Except about Legder. The original was a nut in make up.

  • yeah! i'm agreeing with you!! ^^

  • the first one sucked

  • Heath Ledger is awesome? What do you mean he did'nt do a good job?

    He was amazing!

  • no he wasn't. He wasn't bad but I don't see what the fuss is about he wasn't really "Joker". more of "pro villain with issues" to me. I mean he was too serious, they even had him tell 2 reasons he bacame the Joker both including someone asking him "Why so serious?" and supposedly his smile is scars from cuts meaning he's not even smiling and even WITH those scars he doesn't look like it.

The best parts he did was the pencil trick, nurse, and his laugh while hanging upside down at the end.

  • lol

"Did you see the first one?"

    "Brokeback Mountain?''

  • the joker is fucking awsome & yall who r wondering y he hasnt done something recently is b cuz it proboly takes months do put these together. hes come up with the lyrics that alone could take a month then hes gotta get costumes, the slide show background practice the shit plus he has 2 find time 2 even do u know cuz he just might hav a job & other more important shit than entertaining u.

  • MARIO THEME PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • the other day i was watching batman begins on dvd and my sister walks in and asks what im watching and i tell her. then she said "there was a batman movie before the dark knight?"

  • lol Good video and you're so right. We watched The Dark Knight because of Heath's kick-arse performance, he blew every other Joker out of the water. 5/5 stars

  • yet we still havent seen the perfect Joker. =/

    Oh well, I liked Joker in The Dark Knight, just wish it was actually the Joker ^^;

  • Watch "Batman Mask of the Phantasm" It stars Mark Hamell {Luke Skywalker for the people who can't separate fantasy from reality (not you other readers)} He scared the crap out of me in that movie with that laugh.

  • he died sad

  • all the actors that play in the Dark Knight movie was great.

  • especially Heath Ledger. He was a great Joker.

    R.I.P. Heath :'(

  • But overall Bale is more versatile than Ledger what comes to other roles! Ledger played more these "the boy next door" Hollywood films. Bale is more versatile, that`s it!

And Nolan`s brothers and Bale changed Batman to more darker etc.. not Ledger.

  • agreed

  • we miss u heath!

  • not the girl! that girl was so ugly tho

  • bale was not the only one over looked. Aaoron eckhart ( two face) and the guy who played commisioner gordon aldo did a great job and should be praised for there performance

  • @Rockleelives777 not to mention gary oldmen! most don't realize he is in it!

  • @marauderfairy08 yeparoo

  • @Rockleelives777 gary oldmen played the commisioner!

  • @Rockleelives777 Aaron didn't get enough of a part. Two-Face should have lived.

  • funny, But Bale is an Amazing Batman and actor so is Heath. Heath just had a more energetic role. If you want to watch Bale do what Heath did in The Dark Knight watch American Psycho. Which to me was a more impressive acting job.

  • right on point. there points in the dark knight were i got goosebumps because christian was such an legendary batman.( especially in the scene were batman hangs all the swat people from the building! EPIC!!)

  • As Batman, Bale was good. Very good. But Micheal Keaton and the rest of em where just as good. But myself I thought he did a lot better as Bruce Wayne than previous actors. The one who played 2face and Harvey Dent did great too.

  • yeah bale was DEFINETLY better than george clooney as batman. its partly because bale gets extremrly immersed in his characters.( look up american psycho)

  • Batman Begins and the Dark Knight have to be the two greatest films since fight club!

  • R-I-G-H-T !!!!!

  • even if you don't like the film it's worth watching because of Heath Ledger's performance.

  • Well actually he was based on the first joker which was more of a terrorist then a Joker.

The only thing I didn't like is that this joker weared make up to look like a clown. the real joker had his skin in clown colors because of the vat of chemicals he felt in!

  • yeah i no i saw the first one and jack is the best joker btw i cant beleave ppl r down posting me cause they no its the truth that Heath was a shit joker

  • Heath performance is ok. But the Joker version is bad.

  • thats wat im trying to say

  • Nicholson? please... Mark Hamel is the best Joker ever. He creeps me out and makes me laugh.

  • @BondFreek except Mark Hamill never played live version of The Joker. So in a way, you can't compare Mark Hamill to anyone who played him in a a live production.

  • @ImmersedGamingVideos Oh REALY? How about when he played "The Trickster" on the series "The Flash"? The Trickster is basically The Flashes version of the Joker. “Its checkmate and you lost again.” (Jack the Ripper to H.G. Wells in “Time After Time”)

  • @BondFreek So you pull an argument out of left field and automatically decide you win? Where the fuck did you learn how to debate? The Trickster, and the Joker have NOTHING to do with each other, on any level what so ever. YOU were talking about the Joker, so WE are talking about the Joker. Not the fucking Trickster. No one gives a shit if he's a "rip off" of the Joker.

  • @ImmersedGamingVideos Yo pulled your argument from left field first "you can't compare Mark Hamill to anyone who played him in alive production." That's BS and you know it. Mark Hamill played him just like the Joker. Also the Trickster and the Joker have teamed up from time to time in DC comics. PS getting mad is very childish after all it's just a comic book series. “Swoosh TWO POINTS! The crowd goes wild, women throw underwear…” (Bruce Willis in “Moonlighting”)

  • @BondFreek What the hell is wrong with you? You are maniacal. Is quoting movies normal for you? My argument was not from left field. It had EVERYTHING to do with what you were talking about, and you can't deny that. You were talking about Mark Hamill, the Joker, and how Mark Hamill "plays" the Joker. It had nothing to do with the Trickster, and it still doesn't. I'm becoming aggravated because you're crazy!

  • @ImmersedGamingVideos I'm Crazy? You're the loon... Going around saying "Mark Hamill's Joker does not count because it's a cartoon." Making a cartoon is 20 times harder than a live action character, you have to make over 30 pictures for one second of film. The voice actors must be able to emote with their voice instead of their face. The artists must capture what the actor does & make it look real. It seems to me that "YOU CAN’T HANDEL THE TRUTH!" (Jack Nicholson:"A Few Good Men")

  • @BondFreek Now the lunatic is putting words into my mouth. I don't know where you went to school, but the use of quotation marks are reserved for an ACTUAL quote that a person stated. What you just did was libel. I never said "Mark Hamill's Joker does not count because it's a cartoon." I DID say, "that except Mark Hamill never played live version of The Joker. So in a way, you can't compare Mark Hamill to anyone who played him in a a live production." I said you can't COMPARE the two. READ.

  • @ImmersedGamingVideos Quotation marks are also reserved for paraphrasing. The way I wrote it keeps it from being libel. Mark Hamill 's Joker is the best Joker ever and I can compare it to any other performance that I wish, only a complete nut bag does not get that, and since you don’t get that I say..."You're a Looney Toon in a big white room,"(Dean Stockwell :Quantum Leap)

  • @BondFreek Opinion is opinion, not fact. I can use my opinion any way "that I wish." "Only a complete nut bag does not get that" "Yippie Kay-Ay, Motherfucker." (Bruce Willis:Die Hard)

  • @ImmersedGamingVideos I never said that an opinion was a fact. Believing your opinion is he only one that count's is "The, uh, stuff that dreams are made of." (Humphey Borgart: The Maltese Falcon).

  • Not the original the original wore make up. Plus the original was not a terrorist he was a bank robber. Read the old 1940s comics.

  • the original DIDN'T wear make up... that was the major difference between this Joker and the real Joker. On here he wore war make up, but in the original his skin is chemically changed. He's a psycho while in this one he's just hateful.

The old Joker is silly and not scary, this Joker is serious and violent, the REAL Joker is scary BECAUSE of his silly acts of violent terrorism and how crazy and insane he must be to do it. No actor has portrayed him right yet >.>

  • The original DID ware make up kid. The verry first joker in the comics war make up. Then on the hit tv show that joker wore make up. It was Tim Burton's idea to make the Joker into a freak. Just look up the comic book history on the joker.

  • that and the fact,it was alan moore to! ^^

the killing joke,is just ONE of the mysterious Orgins, for he joker. besides,THIS Joker,is pretty damn good, and psycho!!! so i tihnk heath is perfect as the joker, he did the dark psycho side. Nicholson was the SILLY Side!! ^^

  • hmm, I saw the Dark side but not really the psycho. To me the psycho side IS the silly side. I always see either dark or silly. Why not both? Now wouldn't that be pretty scary? I find this Joker only as scary as any terrorist but what it if was a terrorist who had silly jokes... that were theatening? Some crazy ways to torture that he darkishly acts like is funny? (thinking of a future Joker in a film I mean)

They did it with Peter Pan. Why not make a film: The Joker? ._. o_o O_O

  • most comic book movies try to be a little more realistic than the comics so as to draw a larger crowd. Exploding pies and acid shooting flowers is a little over the top. It COULD be made to work, but it's not easy.

Now, the joker didn't even do that stuff originally. In his first issue he wasn't much more than a serial killer.

So they could slowly phase in a little more madness in the next movie and make it seem like the logical path of his increasing insanity

  • Well he's the Joker. I'd be more interested in him as the Joker if he did those things AND was dark. I don't see it hard to pull off an exploding pie that actually kills. He dressed as a nurse and blew up a hospital. It's not that I didn't like the Joker in the movie just I only saw him as an intelligent criminal/terrorist more than as The Joker.

I've heard about this Joker being like one of the Jokers in the comics but then it makes me wonder why he was called "Joker"

    I guess you're right

  • @waldoman7 the thing is that the idiots that read the comics suck, and they are the only ones who enjoy that garbage you mentioned

  • actually some comic books are really deep. Batman comics in particular are more likely to have meaningful messages and certainly are darker. If the joker DOES have gags like that in any of them, i'm sure it's used in an intelligent way. Why are clowns creepy? because when you mix evil with smiling innocence it's just fucked up. That's where a lot of the joker's more over the top stuff comes in. When that exploding pie actually KILLS a man then suddenly it's real and the joker is a freak.

  • @WhoKilledCallo U suck --' Batman IS suposed to be dark...if it wasnt for the CB, we wouldnt have any of the Batman movies --'

  • @WhoKilledCallo and your just a cunt who has to slate everyone else life to make yourself feel better about your shit heap

  • Well this joker was portraid as a real mentalpatient.

  • CHRISTIAN BALE IS WELSH NOT AMERICAN

  • He is welsh, but watch all his interviews. Because he gets into character he keeps his American accent.

  • Batman Begins was fuckin awesome and you suck

  • Doesn't mean you have to say it on this. This wasn't a movie review. =P

  • i now i just felt like saying that

  • Ah! Now I see! would you like a gold star for having an opinion?

  • if it wasnt for heath ledgers death nobody would be bowing down to him same with 2Pac he sucked when he died he became a legend

  • I don't know. Before Ledger even died there were a lot of people who had only seen the trailer, and were praising his performance. Myself included.

Though, yes, if he hadn't had died the fanbase that his performance created would've been smaller - I don't think, though, that he still wouldn't have been huge. I'm very certain that this would've been seen as his breakout role.

  • The guy in this video is an example of how moronic people can be. You think this could never happen? WRONG! Some people see anything with CGI as Pixar. It's freaking funny and sad at the same time.

  • r.i.p heath ledger

  • Shades of Robot Chicken...

If you haven't heard from Seth Green yet, I think someone needs to call him for you =)

  • lmao

  • he was the dark knight!

  • And he sucked, too.

  • True, true. (that stupid voice he did in the movie was annoying, but the movie was still awesome)

  • heath had an much more difficult role in the dark knight. The best parts were those, which heath was in. R.I.P.

  • what sucks is that they were probably going to make the joker come back! but he made the movie so much better! any part he wasnt in it, it was freaking boring

  • Have you scene the first movie?

    Brokeback Mountain?

    No

  • Christian Bale had his turn in American Psycho. Dark Knight belongs to Heath, sorry!

  • Heath was Awesome! but Bale is gunna be great in the new terminator

  • poor senor bale. we still love him. imagine george clooney as batsy. i mean, i like george clooney, he's a good actor, but.. batman? no way! bale ftw.

  • george clooney was pretty terrible as batman tbf.

and it is true in a way that half the people that watched didnt even watch batman begins, or proberbly any other batman movie.... you a prime example as you didnt know george was batman. :/

  • Joker made that movie come to life he realy did!

  • lol.....the joker really did make the movie epic

  • omg i know heath owned the movie but give bale some cred seriously he was good

  • sth better than this video would be the theme song of The Dark Knight

  • Awesome

  • yea its funny i ask everyone if theyve seen the first movie and theyre all just like ummm no....

  • this is so funny

  • The whole cast and film = epic win.

  • Two Face, Joker, and even Gordon were cooler then Batman, in his OWN movie...

  • he's so good in that movie, it makes me want to smack his mama..AND his sister!

  • I like how Christian Bale was humming the original Elfman theme :P

  • Meh, comedy is good when it's atleast a bit true, this isn't. Every actor in this is on their A-game. Freeman, Ledger, Eckhard, Bale, Caine, they get all enough screentime and development troughout the story and they don't feel forced in but have a genuine and important part in the plot. Bale is a fantastic actor. Finally there is a true diffrence between Batman, the true Bruce Wayne and the fake one for the public. Was great acting.

  • this was kinda funny but i don't agree that heath ledger out shines christian bale to the point where he isn't worth mentioning. bale is very good in the role minus his voice being a little to scratchy as batman. but otherwise he is perfect and the character is probably the most complex super hero out there. now ledger was great but give bale his rightfully earned props. he rocked it as batman in both the dark knight and batman begins.

  • I pretty much paid more attention to Christian Bale in The Dark Knight because I wanted this movie to be based on Batman. I'm sick of everyone calling it "that Heath Ledger" movie. Sure, Heath was awesome, but I like Bale better.

  • This is why I like Batman Begins better. It is actually about Batman.

  • well i dont know what your talking about,

but the dark knight i saw was about batman.

  • Disagree. Watch Batman Begins. Now that movie is about Batman. The Dark Knight is about The Joker. Hey, The Joker was awesome, no doubt, but Batman Begins was actually about Bruce. It was all Bruce.

  • lol, ya

  • Your should whatch The Dark Knight again. Sure fans think that The Joker was true star in the movie. But in the end was very clear who is still center of the story.

  • ^Harvey Dent?

  • No silly, Gordon.

  • Actually...yeah, he was.

  • LMAO! THAT WAS HILARIOUS!

  • i think hes a good battman but yeah he did over do the voice in the last one

  • are you EVER gonna make new videos!

  • shut the FUCK up

  • lol

  • lmao

  • true

  • his voice was stupid lol

  • lol the way he depened his voice in the batman suit i hated that too

  • agreed

  • me too

  • Oh cool! How do you do that? With that moving mouths and arms and all. So cooooll!! You're really good. Keep it up!

    *Please teach me!*

  • Makes a good point. The movie was 50% joker, 25% harvey dent, and 25% bruce waine

  • I like Christian Bale but the movie was about The Joker. In Spiderman 2 it was about Doc Ock.

The Hero is nothing without the Villain!

I always cheer for the Villain!

  • all villains got style! (well some do).

  • sweet

  • when are you making the next video

  • fantastic....

  • I hate Christians batman's voice. Its annoying. Your watching the movie and then batman says something and its like Wtf did he say? besides heath ledger is a better actor than Christan bale.

  • If that's your opinion, it's WAS not IS ; )

  • lol That's just wrong!

  • lol

  • lol...im sorry but that is sort of funny :)

  • i know i loved that he used that voice

  • lmao. perfect.

i think christian bale does deserve more credit, he is as good as batman

  • Yayaya

  • tdk wasnt as great as it was hyped up to be

  • I thought it was a great movie but maybe that was because I wasn't paying attention to most of the hype.

  • LOL! =D

  • he changes voice to keep his identity a secret you fucking dumbass

  • Why yes, I am a fucking dumbass, how nice of you to notice

  • great! really funny!

  • Haha, he's humming Danny Elfman's theme.

  • I think i'm gonna change my youtube name to Christian bale fan

  • Just Go Cheer For Me LOL

  • i love that high five at the beginning. i just play it over and over again!
