  • No only is this amazing in itself - praise God, but you also provided the lyrics and the icons to correspond with the lyrics. May God bless you for this! It means very much to me! Orthodoxy forever!

  • Magnificent! God bless all Coptic Orthodox where ever they are from the "crescent star thieves and murderers"

  • Great is the Mystery of Incarnation of the Son.

  • God bless this work ..... but I want to know from where have you got these pictures you have used in the video ?, thanks in advance

  • Awesome fraction, thank you for posting it. Also I love the translations very accurate.

  • This is the best abons ever i've benn with him when i was a little baby he is the best

  • God our Mighty and Holy Creator forgive us for all our pitiful and sorrowful things we do to each, his children whom he sent his son to bear all our sins. Greetings to ALL my brothers and sisters, whether be Muslim, Jew, or Christian. Amen

  • @Ghinainan: This is becoming utterly ridiculous. You seem to be suggesting that when we say "Allah" during the Liturgy we are referring to another God. I am saying that there is one God, the Holy Trinity. There is no contrast or comparison because that would imply that there is another God, an implication that you state repeatedly. I sense that you are here to argue and I am done, as my initial point was *not* to fight.

  • @verena2010do When we say Allah in our liturgy, it's not identifying the allah of the muslims! What are you talking about?! Don't mix up liguistics and theology. I'm a deacon in the Coptic Orthodox Church and was ordained authority in matters like this. Allah is to describe God in arabic and not to imply commonality between our God and the god of the muslims.your view are heretical and have absolutely no basis. You're just speaking your mind.Ask a muslim what they think of the Holy Trinity.

  • @verena2010do Please talk with your father of confession (if you have one), Their(mulims) god prescribes for them to fight against all un-believers (sura 5:51) and to kill jews and Christians(musharikeen) (sura 96:8). Our Lord and God says to love thy enemy Mt. 5:44, turn the other cheek Mt. 5:39.... Just read all Matthew 5, and read all of the Gospel of St. John. Our God is nothing like the muslim god described in the qu'ran. Ur making assumptions without validating them.

  • @verena2010do Their fat-hah, begining of every prayer(sura 1:7)(5 times a days)curses every Jew and Christian plus Christians in the qu'ran and called the worst of all creations by their god. How is that the same as Our God's teachings!? READ YOUR BIBLE, THEN CONTRAST WITH THE QU'RAN before you make such bold statements.Mt. 7:15-23"YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS".Furthermore, i'm not fighting with you but trying to educate you on the right doctrine.May God open your eyes and reveal Truth

  • What comparative statement did I make? I don't know what I said that could possibly be controversial unless you are a polytheist or atheist. Maybe I made a comment a long time ago and forgot about it? If I said something incorrect please let me know. I agree about bringing people to Christ through one's actions. I don't think words go very far unless someone is actively inquisitive, rather they turn people off. Look at how Christians are viewed by so many as pushy and hypocritical.

  • @verena2010do When you say that allah and our Lord are same, to say something like that would be comparing them (as oppose to contrasting them). Thus comparitive statement. your statement is definetly controversial and I'm definetly a practicing Christian( NOT POLYTHEIST OR ATHEIST). How would you think that!? You really need to talk to a priest, b/c you're not making much sense. Your opinion is just that and not a Christian view. Someone/thing is decieving you.May God reveal the Truth to you.

  • @Ghinainan: furthermore, I am sick beyond words of the fighting between "people of the book." Jesus commanded us to love our enemies, and I see a lot of Christians not doing that.

Regarding reading the Quran, I have read some of it. I do not overreach in saying that there is only one God and that he is Allah. Frankly, sitting around reading a Quran doesn't go over well in my house, and although I would prefer to be familiar with it I also love that person.

  • @verena2010do Acts 4:10-12 "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole...Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Verena, I have many muslim friends who are dear to me and whom I love. But your words are not the Truth.

  • @verena2010do If you love your enemies truly, you would bring them to Christ through your actions in Christ(be a living example).I hate all the fighting as well, but I try to make a difference in my actions that are refelctive of our Lord."I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Mt.12:36,37 If you haven't read both you can't make that comparativ statement

  • @verena2010do Islam is an evil religion... Love is not weakness. If your brother is doing drugs who loves him more the brother that leaves him alone and dosnt try to save him or the brother that tries to convince him that drugs is wrong??

True love is not to be like donkies and sit there and just say I love you, its action, its to be there for them and most of all Holy Zeal..

Islam is evil, It denies Christ as God the Eternal Word incarnate..

  • @Ghinainan Evnoti (love your username by the way :-): My understanding, and I'm pretty *&^% sure about it, is that there's only one God. Obviously not all of us are right about all of His characteristics, but if you say that Jews or Muslims worship another god, you're saying that there is one.

  • @verena2010do Thanks for the compliment. God's characteristics of the Bible are vital to our Christianity. if it wasn't for His characteristics, we wouldn't be Christians. i.e. muslims believe that allah can give his forgivness to whom he wishes, but we believe that God gives his forgiveness according to His Mercy and supreme Justice through the blood of Christ. You might not notice the difference, but it's an extremely fundamental difference!

  • My dear ones,

if there is only one God that means any who worship one God worship the same God. May God help us to stop fighting over Him and live as brothers.

  • @verena2010do The Quran teaches outright that Allah is capable of lying and deceiving people. In fact, one of the titles which the Quran ascribes to Allah is khayru al-makireen, that Allah is "the best deceiver/schemer/conniver" (cf. S. 3:54; 8:30).PEOPLE don't fall into the trick, our God in nothing like their allah. The Abrahamic God of the Jews is not the full picture(it's only a glimse of the true God). We as Christians and only us worship the true God. Guys, don't sugar coat it!!!!!!!!!!

  • @verena2010do Please do your research before saying anything of that extent! How can people be saved if they're misinformed. Have you read your Bible, then have you read the qu'ran. Are you telling me "the great deciever" sounds like our God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Suras:3:85,3:64,72:15,4:89,9:29-33 (clearly about Christians), 6:157, etc. All these qu'ranic verses were commands from allah and apply to any non-muslim, READ THEM. Glory be to the Father,Son and Holy Spirit, One God.Amen

  • Thank you

Please, may we have a whole mass VDU clip.

  • also in the surrah it states that all said in the new testament must be true.

  • The Coptic Orthodox Church is known for its beautiful hymns, but I still love the lively hymnography of Ehtiopia.

I also like to collect Orthodox music from elsewhere in the world such as Greece, Romania, and Russia as well.

  • Hey fezrel

What wrong with you, fellow muslim brother?

Nobody in this youtube video channel have insulting your religion and belittle your divine belief.

So back off and find somewhere else to channel your anger!... What a weird person this is.

  • christians observe our duty to allah, the same as muslims, and many more people, who follows with love their sacred traditions and word, and pursues virtue and love for god and its manifestations and creation.

  • what makes u think u can noe hu allah is. 4 muslims jesus is a prophet and prophets dont lie !!!!!!!!!!!!! John 10:30 Jesus says " I and the father are one" may Allah al rab kleti bi wahid have mercy on your soul.

  • the father the son and the holy spirit are one thats what the orthodox believe cause i am one of them and there is only one god

  • i am orthodox also but wen the muslims refer to allah they refer only to the father YHWH. but nevertheless i call him allah and so does every other arab orthodox because thats his name

  • Hi... After reading your comment I felt that urge to leave a response. The translation to the word allah is god. Anyone who believes in a god uses the same word. For example an arabic speaking person who believes in Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, or even Paganism uses the same word to refer to god. Does this mean that we all believe in the same god? No.

  • In Orthodox Christianity we believe The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are three elements "hypostasis" making one Godhead. Therefore the God that our bothers the Muslims believe in is not the same as the Orthodox. They believe that Jesus Christ is just a prophet and deny his existence in the trinity, his crucifixion and his resurrection. As a result we do not have the same God although we use word allah "god" because it is our language, it does not refer to the same god.

  • actually the allah they know is YHWH by himself so we r close. they just dont understand the full god :)

  • Actually, you do have the same god. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity believe in the ONENESS of god because all three believe in prophets, disregarding Jesus and Muhammed. For example, you as a Christian do not deny the fact that moses came down and tried to preach the worship of Allah, or YHWH(What ever you prefer), to the people. Likewise, we as muslims believe that all those prophets preached the name of god to the people. This is why were similar.

  • um, no. ilah is the word for a 'god' in arabic but allah is the word for 'God' in arabic. but good point anyway

  • It is very pleasing to me, as I'm a westerner.

It is very meditative and moving.

  • really amazing , enjoyed to the last second

  • I got the chills just listening to the chanting in Arabic!

  • Why is that:) is that a good thing or a bad thing to hear it in Arabic?

  • Usually, when "someone gets the chills" it's a very good thing ;)

  • oh ok :)

  • Chills also mean a sign of excitment of something good =)
