iT IS better to cut with razor straight across the put stem under Ph 6 H2O and do a slant cut. Wait 1 minute so cutting can take up H2o it needs. Then dip quick in gel and plant in seed tray. You should spay the inside of dome as well as plants. You can clone most plants , not all. For example strawberries can not be cloned.

awesome education. Thank you. It appears though that using the plugs seems labor intensive. Is there a better success rate by using the plugs? i/e... start 100 clones get 99? my methods are only yielding about 60 - 70%.

They're plants, for crying out loud, what do you expect, organic produce? When plants auto-pollinate, they also produce seeds with identical genes. In other words, they're clones.
