First off, nearly every person said The Silence...like, everyone.
The Doctor's Wife, which is probably one of my favorite episodes in general, was amazing. I think my favorite part was when Idris said "Are all people like this? .... So much bigger on the inside." because if you're familiar with, like, the mythology of the show it really is a beautiful line.
My favorite moment in season 6 is the Silence because of a lot of the things they say I love mind bending stuff thats why I love Steven Moffat so much. But my favorite Doctor Who moment ever is either The Waters of Mars after he saves all the people and I love the speech he gives about defeating time and The End of Time part 2 when he says that he can do so much more and that he is basically better than Wilfred and then he saves him and helps out everyone he loves before he regenerates.
My favorite moment had to be in A Christmas Carol, when the Doctor's psychic paper stating that he's universally recognized as a "mature and responsible adult" shorts out. That was just pure win.
Favourite Doctor Who moment of 2011? The end of A Good Man Goes to War when he's simulaneously distraught that he couldn't save baby Melody, but ecstatic to know that she eventually grows up to become River Song, that although he's just been to the darkest place, he's still got a shot at putting things right.
Season 6 was alright... I do admit things were confusing, and things are very vaguely explained compared to pre season 5. I hate how Moffet keeps putting in the "death of the doctor" scenario, we know he wont die! Not until for a few regens atleast. Something was deff missin this season. I would say my fav tho was when Amy was in a diff time stream.
@Sharingonsandninja Weeeell... you might not know this if you haven't seen Old Who but a Time Lord only has 12 regenerations/13 lives. And he's on his eleventh... although knowing what a big franchise the series is, Moffat (if he's still head writer by the 13th Doc) will probably come up with some magical time lord cure thing to give the Doctor like 100000000000 more lives :P

My favorite part was the entire episode of The Doctor's Wife. And all times the Doctor speaks baby. I'm sorry, but the rest of it was confusing and really not that much fun to watch, as well as predictable.
@hossluver1994 How can something be confusing AND predictable? How can you simultaneously not be able follow the plot whilst knowing exactly what's coming next? Bitch, you crazy...
@mattttt1234 Well, not at the same time. Parts of it were really bizarre and hard to follow, and none of the episodes related (not even the two parts) except for the end of each one which had the Doctor's death date. Then, after Let's Kill Hitler, I started to realize that that was probably how he was going to get out of it...so yes, as crazy as it seems, the series was confusing, and predictable, but not EXACTLY at the same time...for me.
My favorite moment was River saying, "Well, I was on my way to this gay Gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled, when I suddenly thought, gosh, the Third Reich’s a bit rubbish, I think I’ll kill the Fuhrer."
I thought Vashta Nerada were the worst . Then I thought the Weeping Angels were the worst . Now I'm truelly hoping that Moffat can cook up something even more terrifying and gut wrenching than the Silence . Brrr ...
My favorite Doctor Who moment was when the Doctor shaved Chris Hardwick’s face. What? He didn’t shave Chris’ face? I just thought that Chris travelled ahead in time to grow it out and travelled back right after the Doctor shaved him. No? Darn.
I would have to say it's that first scene with the Doctor and Idris from The Doctor's Wife and when Madam Vashtra was pointing out to the Doctor what Melody is and the Doctor's reaction to River when she tells him who she is
@aussieshrimp nuhuh. I'm American and I like the moment where Amy's all like "Why did you say five minutes?!" and the Doctor is all like "What? What?? WHAT?" that wasn't set in America
Gaiman's The Doctors Wife is my favorite, we get to see through a new lens by getting the TARDIS' POV. F'ing Brilliant, whimsical, tortured, dark and fantastic. The Silence still bother's me, I still panic at the thought that I'm aware of a presence I forget daily.
