My Favourite weapon in previous battlefields is the M16 because of the fact that its got a got fire rate and it can be put into a single fire mode and be used as a more versitile sniper. I also like this gun because its good for quick take downs using the 3rd burst and really good for big rooms when using fully auto.

i would say any type of LMG. why? well, it has a large clip with a looot of rounds. if you need to find more cover because your cover is decaying ever so quickly, just get up, and start raking the area with LMG fire! people (multiplayer especially) will hit the dirt allowing you to find suitable cover and start mowing people down again. then you can start the process all over again. until your ammo is ZIP ZERO NADA in which you grab a dead guys gun.
