You really an allround talent. Maybe you are in a big church? I´m in a baptist-church in Austria -a small country with many Mountains and good ski-driver like Herman Maier :)
I have performed this song too -it´s my favorite worship-song...! You can watch if you have the time.
Hey, I'm learning the "cut capo" method and I've been trying to learn as many praise songs as I can with the cut capo, do you have the chord formations with the cut capo on? Thanks!
Sure. Just google cut capo and you will find a printable sheet of cut capo chords. Once you get the hang of reaching behind the capo to play, the others are pretty easy and it is so beautiful for acoustic guitars. I use it on every song I can. Let me find you the link to that site...
Hey, excellent job man. I do have a little bit of advice though, you might want to speed up the guitar a little for the pre-chorus and chorus. My personal experience from playing this song is that it lets them know that that is the main focus of the song, and gets them to sing it. But you have an exceptional voice, I wish I could sing that well. Anyways, keep praising man, you're doing excellent...and I love the sound of the two capo's.
yeah, I used to play it a little quicker like the original and still do when I'm playing it for corporate praise and worship. But here I was just trying to get a little more worship-full...Any way thanks for the feed back. I'm nothing special, just pointing folks to the one who is.
The second capo is called a short cut capo. It turns your open tuning into a sus chord. For instance, if I put the short cut capo on the second fret without using the full capo, I would have an Esus chord sound. It is really beautiful for worship. I have been using it for a few months. Google Short Cut capos and check it out.
very good... it blessed me.

phataznboy7070 3 years ago
The cut capo covers strings 3,4,and 5, giving you a "sus" chord sound. It's a great open sound.
