it's because they were one in 10000. if they showed all the peacekeeper cars that were shot at including the ones were the soldiers died... well, the mesuem rent would be pretty expensive

i really can't believe it the Canadian Forces phoned me today. going for tests on june 21 and if all goes well boot camp should be around sept or oct. i'm going for sonar op, infantry and artillery are my sec and third choices.

i heard it takes a long time for the military to call you back after applying. Is this true?

I heard this as well. I also heard it can take up to a year for the whole enlistment to be over. Visit milnet . (ca) It is a really informational forum of the CF and they will answer any questions you have.

@Jarrett711 It all depends what trade you're going into. My entire recruiting process took only 2 months. Other people I know have taken 6 months.

@Jarrett711 It just depends, they called me immideately and it took me 1 month to get through the tests and get sworn in, but it took my friend 2 years. It just varies.

I live right in Ottawa and i've been to this museum MANY MANY times....it was here that I finaly decided that I was going to join th CF for good. I've sent in my application. All thanks to this museum.
