Well maybe if you counted and measured your strides you would not have a problem. I see several jumps where your little mare had to fit in a tiny stride right before the jump instead of measuring right up to the jumps.

@AnnaFlight To prevent this type of thing from happening again, you should exercise more concern for your pony, who could and will get hurt from your lack of training her properly. I'm sorry, but you need to measure your strides. Its one of the most important and critical thing a jumper can do.

i really don't understand the concept of indoor eventing. the whole reason i event is because i love the feeling of it just being me and my horse on the xc but arena eventing there's too many people watching. And also the only reason i get a thrill out of the xc is the galloping and the solid fences in this there are neither...oh well each to their own.

@xXxChristinexXxX Tbh I totally agree, I event for the thrill of galloping and jumping and just to have fun! This was just a local event and we have loads of fun :) it's often difficult to go eventing when the weather's bad as it makes the ground dangerous, so doing it indoor is just an alternative option :)

@xXxChristinexXxX As far as I'm aware it was originally meant to run through the winter to keep you and your horse practised at doing skinny fences/odd angles/brushes etc. when the season's over. I think it looks like great fun! But I agree, it's fine for practising the tricky stuff when the grounds too bad in the winter, but give me the real thing any day!

Ok, people....this says NOTHING about how certain horses can't jump. This is a pony, not a draft, and she seems to have no problem getting over these large jumps and it's probably safer for her to be eventing than it is for the lighter boned breeds. She's much hardier than your avrage warmblood. She chill with the "SHE CAN'T JUMP SHE'S HEAVY!!!" shit. Every horse trips and falls and just because it was a pony doesn't mean she can't jump.
