I see everyone has commented on JB's spectacular voice, but I don't think that's what makes him so special. in my oppinion it's his interpretation what captivates us. Take for example Emmanuel, the new soloist of the choir, He has an amazing voice and an excellent command of it. However, he just doesn't seem to put his soul in it.

Jb, on the contrary seems to pour his heart out every time he opens his mouth, and THAT'S what makes him unique.

Thanks again, I'm in latin I now. We learned that the -ae dipthong was pronounced like an -i sound, like high.

That is because there are some definite differences between classical latin, which you are likely being taught, and the liturgical latin that is sung. This is one of the differences. Although, the pronunciation for ae in this case is more like ay. "caeli" is pronounced "chay-lee".
