  • i did not know she played the guitar. that is awesome!

  • The song becomes a thousand times better when Lindsey takes the stage!

  • Who is that "oh i am so beautiful" girl raping this song ????? original is uhhhh so much better !!!

  • I got goosebumps when he took the stage. Brilliant and under appreciated.

  • That dress doesn't leave much to the imagination. Saying that, I loved her singing this song. Good to see Lindsey sounding just as good too!

  • Carrie's got a Duesy!

  • uh , okay ....that's not a 'new spin on a classic' ...sounds like the original. I like it ....love both singers/entertainers! Lindsey is a great guitarist.

  • That girl gets me crazy hot. I love that Carrie Underwear, uh, Carrie Underwoody, uh, Carrie, my penis is steaming hot ....... uh, uh, uh, oh, oh, oooh MY GOD!!! " Tommy are you on

mommy's computer again"? " You better mop your jizz off my keyboard" ! Dammit I gotta

    get off, I mean................................

  • That's kinda sexy if you really think about it....maybe not.lol

  • I actually love this collaboration -- both sound great. Not sure why there are negative comments.

  • I cannot stand her. Untalented pop country wannabe hack.

  • I DEPLORE country music, but that girl has a very, very good voice.

  • "Is this mic on...? check, check 1,2,3...?"

  • It's a big ole stage for just her and Lindsey...

  • Her playing a guitar with Lindsey Buckingham is a bit like Barney Fife teaming up with Dirty Harry.

  • Ur all butt wrong she good in own way still not Stevie nicks assholes

  • @PHXLivvin

Not sure about others, but I'm not comparing her to Stevie. it's just she's bring compared to Lindsey.

Acts like her come a dime a dozen.

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart

boring* not bring (I had a headache)

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart Yeah, nothing more than a karaoke act with good luck. Now I know I'm at the age where I consider most newer music to be trash. Actually I've felt that way for close to 20 years now.

  • @rrip1 I love your name! What prompted it, did you serve in the big war on Guam?

  • @spiglator You're the first one to ask me this. When I got my 1st computer about 15 years ago I was typing in every screen name I could think of and they were all taken. And this is the truth, a friend of mine was there and he ripped a huge fart, and it hit me; rip 1. That was taken so I added one more r to make it rrip1. Then he got a computer and his screen name is Icrapped, which I also thought of.

  • Why is Carrie wearing clear plastic gloves? Did she do the food preparation

for the concession stand or something? I tell you these young artists really

give it one hundred percent. lol

  • why is Carrie even there?

    She's such a non-presence...like many entertainers today.

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart I'm wondering the same thing. She shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentance as Lindsay Buckingham.

  • @rrip1

lol, and you know what? if I hadn't known of him his guitar playing would blow that American "Idol" out of existence or at least out of the show.

good singer but she's not that good, Lindsey has been good since the beginning.

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart Yes she is good, but entering and winning a contest as she did, then singing with a man who spent years getting to where he is just too much for me to take. Lindsey is so underrated. I'm surprised nobody has criticized our comments yet.

  • @rrip1

the criticism will come in due time, or could be they realize that Lindsey is that great. So good they retract any comments before they post, lol.

  • Listen... Carrie Underwood is good. And Buckingham is a legend. The song sounded pretty good... but as good as she is, she is NO Stevie Nicks.

(and that is not an insult to Carrie Underwood, it's just that NO ONE is Stevie Nicks except Stevie Nicks.)

  • I don't care if Carrie sang like Gene Simmons, I'd still love to tap her ass.

  • Isn't it a little embarrassing how much Lindsay blows her off the stage? It's like if you or I were to sing with Elton John.

  • @sunnchilde Fuck Elton John, sorry I just had a moment of politically incorrect clarity. What I meant

to say was Elton is a great talent. Oh hell, no I didn't; Fuck Elton John.

  • @sunnchilde

    LOL, yup.

  • @sunnchilde Good one. I was thinking along those lines myself.

  • WOW, GREAT LEGS, and Carrie's aren't bad either!

  • at least she is better than the cranberries....

  • He's been performing this song longer than she's been alive.

  • Lindsey Buckingham ftw. Just an amazing, GENIUS guitarist and musician.

  • good but not as good as stevie

  • In my opinion, this is an example of how her talent and passion really comes through when she sings mad, angry, rough or vengeful songs. Great duet. Two completely different types of talent that complement each other. These two are both underrated musicians and songwriters.

  • She is a great singer but watch how she defers to Lindsey and follows his lead.

    He is a true icon.

  • Why does it say and lindsey buckingham? this is crap dont mislead with the title if it isnt the original band then i dont want to hear

  • @eanielsen123 Hey....you should have figured out for yourself that this wasn't Fleetwood Mac by the way it said "CARRIE UNDERWOOD AND LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM".

  • lindsey is such a great performer hands down one of the best.

  • Awesome. She looks oh so charming with the guitar.

  • love lindsey!!

  • Carrie's not trying to be a rock singer. She's simply paying homage to a classic. Many artists do it, and have done it for YEARS, especially during live performances at shows. It's not like she re-released it on CD. It's refreshing to hear them do songs that mean something to them, especially live in concert. It's what music was about, Woodstock had no problem with it.

  • @jephybean a great singer / songwriter once said, "It's a huge compliment to hear another artist do your song and keep it eternal." That's very true. She may not have added to it, bc it was perfect, but she didn't take from it... she fanned the flames to keep it burning bright. That's all.

  • There's truth in zdiversable's comment. Carrie cannot add anything to this song. And she shouldn't fake playing a guitar, it makes her look stupid. Carrie is a country music songtress. And she's very good at it. But to try to remake the Wizard Of Oz as she's trying to do lately with pop songs, well, I'd say she needs new management cause they're telling her wrong. Dance with those who brung you. Look what happened to Garth Brooks! Will you see George Strait sing Whole lotta love? God no!

  • I've watched this woman try to sing all these classic rock songs and butcher them all except for when she sang Along at AI. Apparently Miss Underwood has let fame give her a big ego making her think her voice is so wonderful that she can sing anything. She can't even make the song her own. She adds nothing new to these songs. She needs to stick to singing country because any other genre she sings sounds like Karyoke Night. Sorry Carrie Underwood fans! You know I'm right.

  • Lindsey still got it going on. One of best guitar players ever. Nice chunk of change singing his song with Carrie..only reason I think he did it. Carrie was way out of her class..looked funny on guitar also.

  • wow that cunt needs to stop singing and caylee anthony herself. At least Lindsey was there to save it.

  • You can still make millions from the country folk Carrie -and actually one I like from the new genX. Where is Ms. Stevie..... Lindsay it was sweet of you to do this with (no heart, soul, wisdom, heartbreak). Almost tried to ruin a classic, this was way out of her league.

  • I'm a huge Steve Nicks fan and have the Tshirt. Carrie did an incredible job on this song. Actually, I think Lindsey's voice has changed a lot mainly due to age. Carrie pretty much held her own. I loved the whole thing.

  • Interesting. Here's an example of a song being tuned UP a 1/2 step- I'm assuming to accommodate Carrie Underwood's natural range, yet Lindsey pulls his vocals off no problem. Which make me wonder why Fleetwood Mac has been tuning it DOWN a full step lately ( maybe because Stevie can't sing it well anymore?) Just an observation.

  • wow this was just awful by carrie, but saved by Lindsey

  • You kow when Steven Tyler, Linsey Buckingham and Nancy Wilson let you share the stage with them singing some of their signature songs, thats got to say something for you.

  • @cujomatic YES!

  • Sorry to disagree with many, but I enjoyed this remake. While no alternate version is ever as good as the original I think Carrie and Lindsey did a great job! I particularly liked how she went after the song on her guitar. She was smokin!

  • Yeah and a song fueled with a Message..BEY... it's "Go Your Own Way,Stevie, we're through"... Or as Stevie put it "A message within a song, and not a very nice one at that"..

  • BOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stevie||Lindsey FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! drop the Carrie act she can go her own way down into despair and the Chicago slums...no offense

  • Horrible attempt by Carrie!! Lindsey sounded "off" as well; at least he played guitar perfectly, as usual.

  • Not bad, Lyndsey rocked and I am no Underwood fan but she did ok at singing. If you watch her guitar playing and listen closely to the mix (I can't help it, I'm a professional musician) you can tell her guitar isn't hooked up to the mix and the is playing it just for show. Prefer the version from The Dance.

  • @723moo

yea she looks like she's having a spasm on that guitar

  • she didn't blow it out of the water, she got drowned in it. the underwood verses are a tad dry - but at least the chorus has a slight nostalgic feel to them.

  • Good. It would be better if she sang the right harmony on the chorus though.

  • Sie is wirklich wunderhübsch, auch des süsse Kleidchen.....

  • Entertaining, but her voice isn't strong enough to pull it off. Not bad, but the band basically plays all over her vocal efforts.

  • @simplegifts17 I agree. I give her a A for effort here but she sounded out of her element

  • Carrie Underwood = legend !

  • @PureRacingOpposition You've got it backwards. It's Lindsey who is the legend here kid.

  • Could be alot worse than carrie, could be Lady Gaygay, those kids from Glee(or glay) or kat perry

  • @sandythebear I like Lady Gaga regardless of the fact that I strictly listen to 50's/60's/70's music .. what an intelligent nickname you've given her.

  • @iamkiller Too flambuoyent however it's spelled for my taste i guess

  • Wow I can't believe I never seen this before!!! Carrie did great as usual:)

  • Carrie Underwood's dress is English Clientele

  • Actually, while I agree that Carrie seems out of her zone, neither of them sings very well here. Buckingham is impeccable on his guitar, as usual.

  • thx g* Britney didn't sing it...

  • This song's got to be sung with balls....

  • Ahh I just loveeee Carrie Underwood! In my opinion she can sing anything AND pull it off every time :)

  • song's too big for Carrie

  • I see Carrie's starvation diet is still working. Look at those legs.... I thought it was a "feed the children" commercial. And when did Lindsay start looking like Bill Mauer?

  • nice try thank god lindsey was there

  • nice try

  • Carries crowd wonders.....who is Lindsey Buckingham?

  • @999Atwood

    LOL!

  • @999Atwood I really hope you are joking. He wrote this song.

  • @iamkiller Not joking. Your average Carrie Underwood fan has the musical knowledge of a mosquito. I'm betting 80% had no clue who he was before somebody told them. We have entered an age where the legends will be forgotten. Skip Spence, Captain Beefheart, Peter Green....the new generation will never hear of the masters of yesterday.

  • @999Atwood How embarrassingly sad. I barely listen to anything after the 80's and I'm 22..

  • @999Atwood Fleetwood Mac`s guitarist. He joined them in 1975 when Bob Welch left the band. Buckingham was with them until 1987 when he went off to do his own solo projects after falling out with the rest of Fleetwood Mac. He returned to the band in 1997 and has been the main man ever since, Mac are back next year with a new album and a tour.

  • @1MCS34 Yes, I know who he is, I'm just saying the average Underwood fan is probably 12-14 and doesn't.

  • @1MCS34 - FM not touring next year as far as I know. Stevie has stated she will be touring to/doing interviews to support her new Album "In your Dreams" and Lindsey brings out a new Album in September and has stated he will tour to support it which takes them through 2011. STevie did state that after that "who knows - perhaps FM will go into the Studio to record an album" - so there is nothing in the pipeline.

  • No chemistry, unfortunately...

  • Carrie sounds great but it doesnt sound right without Stevie singing with Lindsey

  • @kimdefleppardfan Well yeah, this dumb bitch ain't no Stevie Nicks. Not close.

  • @kimdefleppardfan Too true.

  • @kimdefleppardfan She can sing the words but not the associated emotions.

  • @Robbob9933 couldnt have said it better.

  • A rocker she will never be!

  • lindsey sounds horrible, i really hope he doesnt sound like that all the time. yuck. carrie was perfect though.

  • look take your opinions and shove em! ok and obviously lindsey liked her! its not like she did it allone HE FUCKIN SANG IT WITH HER! so if u dont like the video dont watch it!!!!!!!!!

  • @jmangta

'Interesting' comment... Sure, Lindsey endorsed it and I actually quite enjoyed this version. But everyone's entitled to share their opinion, that's the whole point of comments. Besides, how could anyone dislike a video they haven't seen? You have to watch it to decide what you think of it.

  • @jmangta good point but why comment if u didnt like it?

  • @jmangta

Well, why not? I mean, at least in my opinion the whole idea of comments is that you can make all sorts of different comments, extremily positive, very negative and everything inbetween. As long as we keep it civil, I don't see why one shoudn't express critical opinions (by that I mean actual opinons and arguments, not just calling things "sh*t"). There is no rule that says you should only make positive comments.

  • @CarryingNoCross yes i agree with you but why bother if itl just piss others off?

  • @jmangta

How about this: let's say someone really hates a video and sees an extremily positive comment. Don't you think that could also piss this person off? So maybe there shouldbe no comments at all, just in case someone might get pissed off?

'll always support a healthy discussion, as long as it's civil.

  • @CarryingNoCross you know what you make scense....iam sorry i just like her and i love fleetwood mac so iam sorry but i agree with you

  • @jmangta

    That's cool, I understand, cheers!

  • Awful this is .............just awful couldnt endue the whole thing

  • As far as Carrie's guitar playing goes, she has great legs!

  • @SayHey Best comment ever!

  • They edited out a portion of Lindsey's guitar solo here for the TV show- the actual live performance of this was much better - they really rocked it!!

  • This is Lindsey's song, not Stevie's. She only sang back up.

Is that a guitar in Carrie's hands? Craziness.

I never have an issue with great songs being played, by whoever. Nice to hear it again.

  • There is no comparision......Stevie made this song, cause everytime he would sing with that intensity, Stevie gave it back......

  • @MrPingarick Um, no LINDSEY made the song. Stevie certainly helped make it the classic that it is, but let's be honest as much as she completely inspired the song his passionate feelings towards her were his, and the fact that he used that with his brilliance to make this song is testament to Lindsey's incredible talent. But only Stevie sounds best on this with him for certain, not this chick.

  • @lalalives ok, I am not gonna argue with you, I agree with what you are saying, what I meant to say no one can sing it like her and no one can play it like him....we both agree on that...but STEVIE's vocals MADE THAT SONG!!!!!

  • I will forever incur the wrath of everyone by saying I prefer Carrie's version over the original with Stevie. It just sounds better to me. Both versions have their merits, but I prefer this one. Jebbi's right, just enjoy. Same goes for the people comparing Arnel Pineda to Steve Perry. They're not meant to be the same.

  • HATED IT

  • I disagree with anyone that says Carrie doesn't do this well,no she's not Stevie, but Stevie didn't sing the lead in this song anyway. Great cover of a great song!!

  • Carrie did a really good job on this song. She isn't meant to sound like Stevie, she's just saluting her!! Most songs are done best by the original artists, but salutes such as this are really cool. It's music. Enjoy it and stop complaining about who's singing it.

  • Lyndsey is such an AWESOME guitarist !! Seems to be enjoying himself here ! Peace Ye`all !!

  • well done!!

  • She did ok ;) but with out Lindsay she won't get my tums up , of course no one can imitate my woman Stevie Nicks ;)

  • Lindsey should have smacked her off the stage with his guitar I love him but her version off this song stinks

  • Well this vid is showing how fenomenal lindsey and stevie are together!!!!!!.. You see that lindsey is having a hard time to get his voice wrapped around Carrie her voice. It should have been the other way around. Cause its his and FM's song!;.

  • Stevie is untouchable.

  • I really like this. Of course it's nothing like Stevie and Lindsey because the song is about them, so the chemistry is much higher. But I do like this. It was a good performance.

  • She does a pretty good job of it. Lindsey on the other hand...

  • still original plays a part. carrie is no stevie, before lindsey entrance this song has no spirit and no soul.

  • alot of people can be alot of people but no one can be Stevie

  • Agree - she's wooden, flat. I'm not that familiar with her, and her dynamics next to LB are ZERO! Like a matchstick - unlit. She got better with LB onstage, but not enough. Crossroads did a show with LB and Little Big Town. That band held their own, and Kimberly did her part so well. Excellent rendition - it's posted under Lindsey Buckingham -LBT.

  • She did a great job! She reminds me of Reese Witherspoon in this vid.

  • Here voice is too weak for the song.

  • carrie sux.........LOVE YOU LINDSEY!!!!

  • horrid......

  • Dang diggity dog.... she's fine.....

  • i think carrie held her own - great vocals on point and she's inspired me to learn the guitar!

  • stevie sucks. paid 120bux to see fleetwood in sac, was on the way to the show, heard on the radio show was just cancelled. figured, okay. reunion. they said they'd do a reunion. did they? no. waited weeks, heard on the radio one day, get your refunds people. numerous phonecalls, emails, and i got no refund. only dead ends. i got rid of all my fleetwood albums after that.

  • the beginning was a bit to low for her voice.

  • great rendition, but not the same without stevie

  • As a side note, I've always thought American Idol winners should be tossed as artists across the board.

  • Carrie had no idea strumming chords and looking cute would meet the rock and roll emotion and stage presence the author of the song would bring to her show. Lindsey gave about 30% of what the song was.

  • This attempt pales in comparison to the original by Fleetwood Mac. It ain't even close.

  • No offence to Carrie...Iove her music...but I prefer the original by Fleetwood Mac....nothing beats the classics..

  • You can see in Lyndsey's face that he's not happy about this at the end of the song. Please god don't let anyone show this to Mick Fleetwood, we need him around and this would kill him. Personally Carrie is great at some things but if she's gonna try this track, she needs to spend a little time with Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries or at least watch the Cranberries perfomance of this song live in paris...

  • Thank God for Lindsey Buckingham!!!!!!!!! This Barbie doll is a JOKE at best ,flavor of the moment" NO PASSION & NO SOUL " Lindsey saves this & is the only reason for watching PERIOD!!!!!!

  • @HardRockKid68 Yeah it would be great to see the whole thing uncut. I think they cut the guitar work twice, but I haven't been able to find any other videos of this show online to check how much is missing.

  • 1:33 Lindsey goes through puberty at age 50! LOL

  • horrible

  • this was horrible

  • i think its time for lindsey to get a new guitar.

  • Lol... I bet Stevie is smoking by this.

  • This song definitely does NOT work as a duet. Should be left as a Lindsey-only thing. Added to which, a young girl like Carrie Underwood is totally wrong to sing it. She doesn't even seem to realize the scope of who Lindsey is or what he represents when introducing him. Although her singing was good enough to help me break a record for projectile vomiting. 7 feet! Had no idea that was possible, but when she got to the waaaaaaaay part, BOOM! Fortunately, right after that Lindsey cured me.

  • It's a fact that no woman could ever hold a candle to Stevie. With that being said, Carrie did a decent job.

  • what chords is she using??

  • Hi carrie is hot but stevie nicks is hotter lol.

  • linsday is probably very happy he didn't have to perform with taylor swift, they should make a video comparing this performance to taylor swift and stevie nicks at the grammys, stevie got the raw end of that deal

  • she looks hot playing the guitar

  • she's hot, but she sucks

  • Carrie does not have a voice that's even CLOSE to Stevie's. Sort of ruined it for me.

  • Lindsey & Stevie always knocked this out of the park! They were the sparking energy in Fleetwood Mac, that will never be outdone.

Carrie is very talented, but somehow seems wooden in this song.

  • @kimatoz3 Yea, And Carrie needs to put down the guitar. Doesn't work for her.

  • @kimatoz3 It's probably the kind of song a singer grows into. It seemed like Lindsey was not firing on all engines vocally so he could actually blend with Carrie, which was nice of him. The only female country singer I can think of with the chops to completely carry this off is Reba McEntire. The rest are too formulated.

  • Don't get me wrong I really enjoy everything that Carrie Underwood has done, but this makes me have a greater appreciation for Stevie than ever before.

  • @ab832b OMG !!! Where is Stevie , she is the only one who can do this song .Give it up Carrie

  • You know. If I could sing and get to be a famous artist. This would be heaven to me. I'd probably not able to sing a single note cause of the nervs. It's not just someone, it's Lindsey Buckingham, he's one of my heroes!

  • Carrie needs to stick to her own stuff...this is Stevie's territory. :) My opinion, no disrespect meant to anyone.

  • Total shite. Bring back stevie.

  • mike is one lucky bastard

  • i wasnt aware carrie played the guitar, cool!

  • Lindsey was good.....but then he always is. Sometimes the classics should just be left alone. But it wasn't horrible though.

  • Nothing beats the original but this is the best cover of this song i've heard by far. good job Carrie!

  • Carrie did alright, we couldn't say that about Miley Cyrus now could we.

  • nothing will ever beat "the dance" 1997 live version by fleetwood mac!

  • Thet actually sound and look very good together!

Good cover of a great song.
