HAH TRY OUTH BRONXX NEW YORK CITY WLL AVE UP THE 200 TO GET A PLANCE AND GET THE FHTCK OUT OF HER AND GET TO PORTLAND T NOT WORTH IT T NOT MEANT TO LVE
I looooooooooooove Portland, it's the realest of real, a beautiful surprise. I stopped debating with closed minded individuals. Every place and everything is not for everybody, that's one of the great options about being an American, you can chose to be or not to be an Oregonian... Enjoy your world!
@LPhils I agree totally. I don't give a shit what anyone thinks about Portland, and Oregon, to me it's the only livable place anywhere. And I've been to lots of places. I was born and raised in crappy southern CA and consider myself an Oregonian.
If you're going to do a video on Portland and mention the two rivers, at least take the time to learn the correct pronunciations of them you stupid b!&ch!
@bmp713 OI, who cares? You afraid of a little rain? if you're going to be part of the Californians that move here than just go it's too cold, it's too rainy, the ocean is too cold, there's no sun, don't bother moving just stay there because whiny Californians are ANNOYING
It's too cold, it's too rainy, the ocean is too cold, there's no sun, and Portland is full of whiny depressed natives like you, but I might move anyway - the city is awesome in just about every other category.
@Jarek4 Not cool or Portland style to put every Californian in the same box as those who complain, just like I wouldn't put all Oregonians in the same box as elites with under tone racism. I am a California with Portland roots that stems back years before you were probably born. There are some snob-nob Californian's that I can't bear to be around as well as some Oregonians. That's life no matter where you go, travel or live. Get used to it some Californian's are here to stay....
In Austin we make fun of alot of people for mis-pronouncing words that sometimes even we ourselves mis-pronounce. Its not a good way to make friends or promote your city. But these kind of informal isolation laws are a fun way to identify strangers to the tribe. Cheers.
Rain isfine with me,it makes Portland beautiful and green, the suicidals are normally born out of town, there is a LOT to do if you have a life, don't blame the player...
oh.. it's a nice area, the parks especially are relaxing to hang out in. My favorite is the Tanners Springs, there are always ducks and stuff swimming around in it.
nw 23rd for some good food, se hawthorn. go up mt washington park. go out to seee mt hood. st helens is not very far and you will be a short drive from sea side and astoria.
It takes some getting used to. When I had long hair and a beard folks would really avoid me. After I cut it short and shaved the beard a whole new world opened up.

Weather: ALWAYS sunny in the summer, usually cloudy in late fall - late spring with occasional sunny periods for 2 - 3 days

Mount Hood, the Oregon coast rank highly.
I always thought Dan & Louis' Oyster Bar in Old Town is a neat tourist stop.
The Rose gardens and Washington Park overlooking the city is a fun thing to do.

Folks in Portland are not snotty or stuck-up. They are reserved and provincial though.

Just kidding, people in Oregon are very nice, laid back. They just don't talk to strangers is all

Fine video, but did I hear her mispronounce Willamette?
She almost gets it right but it seems like it came out WILL-uh-mat, instead of the local will-AM-met.
