@WeeGal159 if he takes off, don't pull up, turn him in a tight circle, or else he might start to buck. Go with someone so if you fall off, the horse will more than likely come back to you guys. and make sure you both have cellphones and helmets.

@WeeGal159 oh, it might also help if you guys decide to lope/canter, you should take the lead if you're horse is a bit nervous, this way, he doesn't go into a panic when the other horse suddenly canters off. If he starts the canter first, he's less likely to get panicked and go into flight mode.

@horsebonanza They were practicing. Jumping an experienced horse at a lower jump the right way can be harder than a higher one. They were probably practicing setting the horse up fr a lower jump, and making sure that the horse didn't go to high and waste energy. Its a tatict for cross counrty

I have to agree, and Prancer didn't look like she (well, the horse is a gelding) was bolting at all. But it's acting, y'know? I kinda laughed when Lisa kept repeating Prancer's name, I knew Prancer was going to bolt then :P. But I guess this was just for that scene, but I have to admit, It was poorly portrayed.
