  • che bella merda

  • i hate angry mosquito vibrato.... the rest was pretty good

  • hes got chops, good solo, i hate haters,

  • Comment removed

  • sometimes less is better , emotion gets lost in the technique . but skilled non the less ,

  • So good. yet so not good.......

  • awesome

  • There's no right or wrong in music! haters just STFU

  • cool

  • I can totally see why people are getting confused over the whole 'feeling' aspect. From what I can tell, it's not a lack of feeling, yes theres some over compensating with the constant tapping, in parts sound great, but others are unnessesary. The problem is the phrasing. There seems to be no real structure to the solo, the skill is undoubtably there, its just fine tuning it to fit with music. It's just a bit too busy for the track.. but i'd like to see others respond with their versions..

  • dude i like it dont listen to these people on here if you liked it enough to put it on you tube then you are happy with it thats all that matters.plus watching this gave me some ideas so you inspired me to play better good job and keep jamming

  • Its nice :) some of these guys are just being ass holes.

  • No point dumping all your techniques into one improv, the backing track has some good room to practice some exotic shapes and additions to the chords, shredding through the track with everything you know isn't really exploring what you can do. If you are trying to show off there is no point because it didn't fit the track, but dude you are quite a good guitarist, just try to articulate more and play expressively, even though shredding licks can be fun it's what the 80's wore out.

  • I really enjoyed that. Good work! =) You are a better guitarist than me and I have am in no position to comment on what you played. Everyone's style is different! I really really enjoyed it. Well done!

  • i agree with people on how fast does not give emotion there is not enough time to put feeling into the notes i mean Jimmi Hendrix he had the ability to play as fast as he wanted but he played the smoothest things and they where all from the heart.

  • Seriously guys?! I don't get why this vid has so many dislikes, and also, I'm pissed of you guys saying he has ''no feeling''! First of all, anything played by a human has it's own kind of ''feeling'', which does not need to be expressed by slow tremolo passages with a big fat tone. Plus, the guy has a great technique and that makes him an excellent player, so stop hating and tell yourself that he practiced hours and hours to reach this level of mastery!

  • srsly, play one note prperly instead of a lot of em "unproper" ones

  • i think you overdid it a little on the ripping. gotta work on making it less mechanical, and that goes for anything you would play. awesome technique though.

  • I like it.

But easy way to know if you have feeling and emotion in YOUR solo: do you, before every fast run, HEAR in your head what you're about to play? If not, then you're just playing notes.

  • ok good job man but you must reduce number of notes and improve your feeling

  • nice playing.. ! you have good technique

  • he's just jamming, i don't see anything wrong with it...its obviously just playing to a backing track so who cares about compositional quality?

  • @UnIXbLueStar yeah, his scaling and fingering is good(I mean it!)

but his playing lack of feelings, which is the most important thing if mean music

  • no doubt this guy can play.. but i think the general idea is its a bit too much tech and shred and not enough emotive moments on this particular vid... i dont mean to cause offense in saying so but on a track like that dynamics and phrasing are more pleasing to the ear... hell of a technique in some parts tho kudos..

  • actually before all of u guys comment. do you even know who is he? perhaps he 's a metal player, so obviously, he would like to do those finger tapping and sweep picks more then melodic playing and bends. so you cant say he's bad. if you see a guy playing like this in a street, you must be an idiot to say he's sux. have respect pple & pple will respect you

  • Nice perfoming! you can work some parts, but it's fine, and in some parts are technicals and funny. You can make this solo better, we know that, but the solo it's good :3

  • Ur good but ur timing was wayy off in some parts. Good but needs work

  • you have to practice, but very cool ;)

  • chopsy as a mudda! to me your taking technique over taste but each to there own man, youve got skills no doubt.

  • idk y so many people are hatin on this guy it wasnt bad at all

  • @ospbsbll91591 because the sound isnt clear, he tries to go faster than he can =) But its quite nice anyway!!

  • Great technique man and I am a big fan of shred, metal, etc but you could create first a nice melody and add these technical elements in some places here and there...

  • personally i think that the solo had feeling....these ppl are just mad cuz they cant play as well as u

  • @keenotesful dude this solo wasnt that bad but saying that someone has an opposite opinion because he is jealous is just fucking dumb and childish. You just have no idea how possible it is with a minimum of effort. Spoon fed unique childrens tends to act like you.

  • @UnIXbLueStar ok man...u win...ok man...u win...it seems like i cant even say wat i want anymore in this world. ppl nowadays...first of all do u even know me...why are u replying to a comment i just put up...ur doing the same thing ur telling me not to do...no offense man but i think im entitled to my opinion...mr. whoeveruare?

  • sorry my friend but shredding is not everything ....... i know that the master malmsteen says more is more (i love yngwie by the way ) but even himself putts a lot of emotion in his music and playing and know how to play slow .........you can really play your scales and tapping licks but i'm personally really not impresed with this.....

  • no feel at all man... learn the blues and then play this man!!!!

  • Quality is better than quantity..that is all.

  • Really cool!! I wish I had your improvasation skill, I started for 2 weeks ago to improvaise and it just feel like i'm playing a lick moved up or down on the fret board all the time=( But I guess the only solution is to practice, right?

  • Of Course, I use them myself. The point being is play slow and fast when the song calls for it. I mean live do you use these things that are someone else trade marks or do you want to sound like yourself! No one can be completely original. I laugh when I see somebody do a pitch harmonic or finger tapping. That's what makes me always ahead of the curve. I play like me and no one else. I have used all of the great's as teachers & stepping stones to my playing. Get it. Been playing since '76

  • Idk what these ppl are talking about, it's possible to be mellow and fast, this was very good, it wasnt too busy at all, it was abit rough technically in a few parts, but this was not at all "not what the song calls for", it was excellent and very well played, but my only critique is that you could have built your way up to the fast stuff a lil bit slowerr, other than that excellent, (like)

  • wow. too busy. nice licks, but way too busy. =/ i'm sorry.

  • Be true:

    Would You listen to this?

Your picking is far from being able to play this fast.

Off course you can play, but do not try to bring your(3or4) high tech-licks over and over again. You have to to play more relaxed to make a 4minutes solo.

  • see this is real skill it takes someone relly good to play any song of your head but to be abel to just bust out an awsome solo to any pieace of music is simply amazing iv stoped learning songs now and am focusing on my music reading and scale progresions 5 starz sub!

  • dudes showing off nothing special

  • Good tone! I usually don't like strat tine, but this is nice. Might I recommend a super-strat, specifically an Ibanez RG. I love mine.

  • you could also add some harmonic minor licks.

  • i agree man, these kinds of tracks you gotta really lean more toward the eric clapton or david gilmour stuff. :) i'd like to put a video up.

  • Although impressive, I think there is too much going on there, need more feel ;D.

    Awesome playing none the less!

  • It sounds like your playing scales to music. Like if you told a computer to. ZERO feeling and way,WAY too busy. [Just my opinion as a lifelong listener to heavy metal]Go listen to some old Michael Schenker or Leslie West.then re-think your solo.

  • @TheJetfighter666 what do u mean by feel? bends. there was feel in that song, its not liek a computer, its very mellow and musical for sure.

  • @allguitarsforme I just think it started out nice and then he went crazy. After listing to it again he's really good But not what the song calls for [In my humble opinion]

  • @allguitarsforme That's the thing. the key word is MELLOW. Dude was running up and down the neck as if it was Slayer "Reign in Blood' That's why I told him to re-think his solo. If other players can't grasp this then they need to take a step back. Example> search" High Flye"r by U.F.O or" Theme for An Imaginary Western" By Mountain. Learn from the masters not by the I wanna play 100 notes in 30 seconds people.

  • @TheJetfighter666 lol what are you talkin about man? It would be impossible for one to create a song/solo at all without scales. Scales are the building blocks to music. In fact, playing random notes is still a scale. (chromatic)

  • @TheJetfighter666 playing scales to music....most guitarist call that "improvising" or perhaps "soloing", everey note a guitarist plays better be in the key and scale the song calls for, if not, it will sound sour and out of place, and yes sweep picking is basicly running through a scale, but it souunds good, and it does have feeling, and idk what kinda "Metal" you've been listening to, but sweep picking and other techniques this guy demonstrated are used in just about every "good" solo in metal

  • @triggerex33 I think you missed my point.

  • @TheJetfighter666

funny how you say "ZERO feeling". maybe he didnt express YOUR feelings. he truly sucks for not expressing YOUR feelings instead of HIS own. You understand that "feeling" is not an objective thing, and you can't measure it or analyze it, right?

  • @TheJetfighter666 jealous?

  • @TheJetfighter666

I have to disagree with you. I though the most parts were fantastic, though some were quite boring.

"ZERO feeling" can be a lot of feelings for some people.

Of course those guys you mentioned have greater feelings in their songs, they're famous because of it.

I also don't see why you need to troll him down. If he's really happy with his effort, then the solo is perfect the way it is. If you want to give criticism; be nice, not harsh.

    I love this backing track.

    Nice job!

  • @TheJetfighter666 What did you expect? Lets see your version. Show us all how its done.

  • @TheJetfighter666 Obviously, you don't know what feeling is...! Fast does not necessarily mean with ''no feeling'', you retard!

  • nice i have the same track too i like ur alternate picking

  • Fmajor and D minor pentatonic????

  • melodic minor scale most of them

  • The song is in d minor, but what key did u solo in and what scales did you use?

  • @tyka200.....f major ...that pretty much sums it up he used different modes alot...modes are just different ways you look at a scale...for example if your in g major you can use g major a dorian b phrygian c lydian d mixolydian e aolian ( or minor its the same thing just diff name) or f# locrian...look up modes sometime

  • Well if a song is in d minor the only 2 kind of scales that will sound good with it are d minor and f major the reason why f major will work 2 is something i can't explain check wikipedia

  • Is their any chance i could please has the tabs for this solo?

This is the best ever seen yet on this backing track!

    5 STARS

  • could you use f major to solo over this track?

  • yeah i use both f major and d minor

  • thanks.

  • I wish I knew how to play like that!!! really awesome I enjoyed it :D
