  • Now i know what to do next time i'm in an airport :D

  • Bøddvar og syletøy!!

  • Galdhøpiggen må la det swinge ?! XD

  • lol now thats a happy fellow.

  • English translation:

Bødvard (a name?) and jam. Zero if move in "general staff holiday". You all will go on a trip as everybody else. Galdhopiggen (tallest mountain in Norway) must swing (as in the dance). We have decent broadcasting. Huge cod. Gardangerfjorden (third largest fjord in Norway). Sausage party. [Muffeld] ... spandex paaaaaaaaaaants!

  • HARDANGERFJOOORN!!! :D xD

  • I'm 110 % Norwegian and I didn't understand a shit of this vid. I mean, I understood all of the words, but not why he was sayin' all that crap. It was just a lot of norwegian words mixed up.

  • Dere som sier "I am Norwegian and this doesn't make any sense"...

  • I live in Norway and I am 100000000000000000000 % Norwigen but i didn't understand this video!

  • Seems to me like he's supposedly learned Norwegian wrong or something like that.

  • i speak spanish and english, but i neet to practice more norwegian, im forgetting it, because here in chile i cant practice it :S

  • Hva faen sku detta værra godt for a?:P

  • I just adore norsk! Started to study by myself, and enjoy it kjempe bra!!! Hope to visit your beautiful country soon...

~Mvh. Flisespikkeren.

  • Is there anyone here who is from norway or who speaks fluent Norwegian who is willing to help me practice my Norwegian regularily on MSN Messenger? Ive learnt a reasonable amount of topics, numbers, colors, nature, basic conversational sentences, weather and some more things. Its hard to remember them when I only practice by myself. Please help? I am travelling to Norway soon, I am going for six months.

  • It depends on what type of norwegian you want to learn. If it is nynorsk then it is okey, if it is bokmål then no.

  • i guess i could help you..

  • @lamblunchatlegoland Did you ever find someone?

  • The underline have nothing to do with what he's saying :P

  • Kjempetorsk og Hardangerfjorden, faktisk!

  • ööööööö ok. I`m 100% Norwegian, but I have no idea what was going on in that video ;/ :)

  • @shimett Me to man, but i'm 100 million% Norwegian!!!

  • @shimett I think it is sweedish

  • @gdevilpt He is speaking Norwegian, but I`m still confused ;P

  • @gdevilpt

The gay is speaking Norwegian and the text is Sweedish ^^

  • I understand English, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish without problems :-)

    Quiero aprender Español. . .

  • Norwegian is such a cool language. I speak both Norwegian and Swedish and I find norsk easier than Swedish cause it has simpler pronunciation and grammar

  • @kiliodoulos26 Yeah, Swedish is one of the hardest languages to learn and speak. I know a guy that went in the same school class as me, he is from Russia, and he has been in Sweden for 8 years, and he still speaks like he just got here.

  • @kiliodoulos26 probably also because English is built on Old Norwegian and Old French

  • @hakkematforf No actually English is built on the language of the Angles and the Saxons (hence Anglo Saxon) it is of German origin. French (from the Normans) never stuck in England. Hand is had in German and English, Arm is Arm, Finger is Finger, Nose is Nase etc. English is a Germanic language, with a little influence from French.

  • @Scootertuner1000 French is Germanic too, just "on a longer bransh" ;)

Yes, but what I meant is that Normen were Norwegians in France.

I'm sorry, I see now that it could have been really really easely missunderstood :(

  • @hakkematforf French is a Romance language, meaning that it comes from Latin. Most other speakers of Romance languages can understand a great amount of written French even if they've never learned it. But most imported words in English come from French.

  • haha. Love it :)

  • Um.

    Wow.

    I have no idea what's going on in this video. So he's just a random foreigner who's talking gibberish? It sounds like me. xD;

  • Svår dialekt :D

  • It may look like i dont speak English, but the text in Norwegian makes as little sense as the the English one. Just so u know :P I just translated what he says! ;)

    Take care!

  • Haha... This is so hillarious! I like this commerical a lot! Im norwegian, but I have difficulties in actually understanding most parts of what is being said.

This is what I get out of it:

Bøddvar (?) og syltetøy. Null hvis beveger seg i fellesferien (??) Dere vil alle gå på tur slik allehante, galdhøpiggen og la det swinge, og de har skikkelig kringkasting. Kjempetorsk, Hardangerfjorden, pølsesverd(?)

  • English translation:

Boddvar (I dont understand this word) and jam. Zero if moving itself in the general staff holiday. You will all go on a trip, like allehante (Not a Norw. word). Galdhøpiggen (tallest mountain in Norw.) and "Let it swing" (norw. eurosong winner 86) and they have thorough broadcasting, huge codfish, "a fjord" and sausagesword.

  • haha it's funny he's just speaking shit x'D like "you will all take a walk like everybody else. Ghalopiggen (a mountain) have to dance, they have good television" x'D

  • He's actually just saying random Norwegian stuff. Stuff that we have in norway and such :P

But the sweedish subtitles say something completely different :P

  • he is speaking norwegian

  • fan

  • Swedish = Norwegian, like portuguese = spanish. If you speak the first, you automaticaly speak the second.

  • I speak Norwegian and Portuguese, and for me it is easier to understand Swedish than Spanish... it is a lot harder to understand, and the only reason I actually am able to understand the majority of Spanish words and carry a conversation, is that I have been learning Spanish at school for four years now.

But maybe that is just me.

  • I can't believe I wrote that. x)

Today, I'm less stupid than six months ago.

  • and we're all happy for that :)

  • What about danish? can you understand it too?

I guess you´ll find less difficulty when reading spanish because pronounciation is quite different but vocabulary is not.

  • Yes. Danish is easiest to understand when you read it, Swedish is easier to understand when you hear it. ;)

  • haha Brødrer å Syltetøy, Genialt , kunne ikkje funne på noko bedre sjølve.

  • Haha fy faen å bra xD

  • huh?

  • You have to speak norwegian t understand it. He's not really saying the things that are txted, he's just babbling on and on about the mountains, strawberry jam and and a spesific fjord xD

  • is he speaking norwegian?

  • Yeah, but he's not saying what the text says - he's talking shit .. :P

  • Yeah, but hes only blabing about all the mountains and all the typical norwegian stuff.. BUT, it is norwegian;)

  • oh, thats weird

  • No, Norwegian is cool *o*

    øæå ......^^.

    Thats new 4 u..?

    Thats some damn cool letters^^,

  • I'll second that on!! Norwegian comedy is fantastic.

  • ...Nooo their in norwegiab...

  • He speak Norwegian and the subtitle is on swedish..

  • Det här är så sjukt bra!
