My wife died on Sept 26, 2010. This was one of 7 songs my children and I chose to use for her funeral with only a short message from my pastor. 8 people accepted the Lord at her funeral. My mother requested that when she dies, to play this in her honor. A year later, she had died. I played this song in her honor and spoke at her funeral. I begged my chorus teacher to let us play this, he finally let us and we blew them out. Our chorus class is bad and they actually were good that night.

My mother requested that when she dies, to play this in her honor. A year later, she had died. I played this song in her honor and spoke at her funeral. I begged my chorus teacher to let us play this, he finally let us and we blew them out. Our chorus class is bad and they actually were good that night.

Friends, this song is beautiful, but please don't take for granted that you will be accepted into the Kingdom of God. Jesus, Himself, said "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' shall enter into the Kingdom of God, but he who DOES THE WILL of My Father in Heaven" (Matthew 7:21).
Take a look at your walk with Jesus...have you forsaken all sin and truly put your trust in Jesus to perfect you in your walk? Is Jesus your entire life, or does He just fit in when it's convenient for you?

I really wish we could all just stay spirtual high. We all hit rock bottom at one time or another. Thats always when we look up to him& say we cant live this life alone. LIfe is so hard when we look back up to him that its hard to get back on the mountain with him. We have so many distraction.. so many"more important things" like a boyfriend or a girlfriend.
