  • I loved his Theme Music

  • Goldberg was the shit. I'll pick him over John Cena any day. Goldberg, Stone Cold and The Rock. The best of all time.

  • GoldBerg was the last true wrestler

  • @GreatestMexicanEver true wreslter? at his begining none of his matches lasted more than five minute, what pissed me off was the fucking walk he took

  • @paladindarknite so because he won alots of times doesnt matter

  • @paladindarknite SHUT UP

  • @GreatestMexicanEver ouch, you hurt my feelings,

  • @paladindarknite ouch you hurt feelings loser

  • love how the majority of this video is Goldberg's entrance

  • Wow, Goldberg's security team included a girl..?

  • your typical goldberg squash match

  • Jindrak, great look but no real charisma or character to get into. Never clicked.

  • i had a goldberg jersey but i dont remember payin no 40 bucks for it

  • mark jindrak sucks goldberg is the god wrestling.

  • this was wcw verison of the attitude era vince russo tried doing what he did in wwf but failed doing it a second time

  • id jindrak didn't leavfe he would make an awesome WWE champ and heavyweight in my opinion.

  • there higher then TNA

  • what a great match and if you like goldburg watch WWE Backlash 2003 the rock vs goldburg

  • 3:19 if he'd ever look at me like that, i would shit my pants

  • This is where WCW was already dead, right?

  • @cheatguru2173 This was literally a week or two before WCW died.

  • @RLBacklund no it wasn't goldberg wasn't around the final month or 2 of WCW

  • Goldberg was so shit on the mike, they shouldn't've let him talk it would've added to the whole mystique and craziness and made the no sell more believable.

  • jewberg sucks

  • Was just watching Ready To Rumble and was curious as to what the WCW setup was like in '01 with Thunder and Nitro. They used this same ramp and titan tron setup for both shows? The announcer is the same as TNA, commentating is shit, and I'm not even going to watch the entire video because of how amateurish it looks. I was a WWF follower all through attitude era into 2003 and stopped. Never gave WCW a chance and I'm glad I didn't...

  • @lrodzen

    turnertron / nitrovison / thundervision,not titantron.

if you were a fan of the e in the attitude era, then not giving wcw aq chance in 97-97 was stupid, it was pretty darn good, definitely better than raw most of 97.

announcers were same as tna???tenay's been in the business long enough to not be known just as a tna anouncer

& as for schiavoni,he's been interviewing those nwa segements as far back as the late 70s,i'll be glad if tna can stay in business as long as schiavoni announced

  • Plus Russo's dumb self was to lazy to go and try to find another channel to air on so he just sold WCW thinking they werent gonna stand a chance anymore even though they couldve

  • @respectmyfresh719

are you stupid? finding another channel? shit doesn't work that ways. do you think bischoff didn't try? others didn't try?

& what about russo sold it..moron russo had no power or say at all on the sell/not sell wcw. he wasn't even with the company at this time

  • Look people TNT went under Time Warner production and the problem wasnt WCW's ratings they were still selling out crowds but when they decided they didnt want wrestling on TNT they cancelled it so if theres no way to show your product how in the world are you gonna make money

  • @respectmyfresh719 he also cancer animaniac and freakezoid and many shows in cn and wb..

  • Anybody notice how small the WCW ring was????

  • Jindrak resembles Lemonhead from The Shield

  • actually mark figths in mexico as marco corleone, and is a big star.

  • maybe if it wasnt just an american channels

and my cable only went as as 25

so maybe if wcw on a channel under 25 than they probaly would have kept more fans

they had a repeat program that taped everything that went on nitro

and it pissed me off they took it off

    no wonder they went down

lost fans cuz it wasnt on enough channels and right channels and the screwed up anyway cuz the tnt management took it over and they never knew jack shit about wrestling

  • They didn't go out of business because their shows weren't reaching enough people. They went out of business because everyone who was watching stopped watching. That and TBS went under new management and decided they didn't want wrestling anymore.

  • i love mark!!!

  • jindraks entrance theme was like something out of a gay bar

  • lol but how do you know?!!

  • because i may have been in one :/

  • Crowd no selling Goldberg LOL!

  • People say near the end, WCW sucked. But if you look at wrestling today, the dying days of WCW are better than the current days of wrestling. Wow, how the times have changed for the worse.

  • WCW started to suck in the latter years in my opinion it wasn't as entertaining. Raw is better then WCW's ending years

  • wcws lowest ratings were tnas highest

  • ARE tnas highest

  • ye, lol

  • Actually, WCW Lowest ratings were higher than what RAW ratings are today

  • really, cool.

  • wow are you sure?

  • YES, I'm sure

  • @JaguarmaniaX

No they weren't. Nitro was drawing low 2s towards the end, Thunder was even worse. Raw regularly gets 3.5 or higher.

  • @JaguarmaniaX Actually, not quite. In 2001, Nitro regularly scored ratings around 2.6-2.8

  • @JaguarmaniaX are you crazy raw is like one of the most watched shows in the world

  • @Jarrelka absolutely, raw is one of the most watched shows in the world BY pokemon loving kiddies, no REAL wrestling fan watches that show anymore

  • No the lowest WCW Ratings were around 2.5 so it was lower than Raw now!

  • The point is: WCW at it's lowest wasn't that bad... and today, Raw sucks. Their ratings aren't high as they were...

  • @Tranceplant82 and there is one reason:

    FUCKING PG!!!!!!

  • @Tranceplant82 It's all because of the Invasion thing...When they had all of that and the WWE won...well after everybody had a few years then we are left with this because the WWE feels that there isn't anymore competition. TNA is tryin to compete but they only have one night compared to the WWE that has two nights. So overall, when there is better competition from other brands then you will see much better tv

  • @Tranceplant82 But it was that bad. People still watched it. Obviously not as many as at the prime of the Monday Night Wars, but WCW was godawful at the end.

  • no wcw has reached 1.8 before

  • @JaguarmaniaX Complete BS. Nitro ratings were in the 2's in their final months and in 2000 they went from 2.0 to 3.0 at random. They had a 3.0 rating on the final Nitro and it wasn't because it was a show people wanted to see... it's because people were shocked to see TNT and USA airing the same thing. Even RAW had a 4.7 the last night of Nitro... just shows that people didn't even care in the end. RAW today is in the mid 3 range. So you are completely wrong.

  • @JaguarmaniaX sorry, but you are incorrect there, after nitro started to lose the ratings in APRIL 1998, It was almost impossible for them to have high ratings since, no one cared? Raws ratings arent as good as they used to be, but they are not as low as the Vince Russo WCW era either.

  • @JaguarmaniaX LOL TRUE

  • @JaguarmaniaX well WCW ratings in 2001 is close to WWE ratings in 2011 something like that

  • @tag1989

Pro Wrestling's peak popularity was between 1997 to 2001.

  • @shinshoryuken uurrrmmm......thanx for...that little peice of imaginative info....?

  • Wrestling owned back in the Goldberg and Kronik days!

  • i love how Goldberg always hooked the leg no matter what whenever he knows he could just cover them with his pinky and it would go to 3

  • kind of ,in WCW there was rehearsals between the two wrestlers several hours prior to the match just to get a good feel of each other and mainly plan the beggining an dend of the match but in between is pretty much freestyle, in WWE they work all week to script exactly what they want to

  • bret harts son again!

  • What a boring match... When i was teenager i used to believe that goldberg was a real unstoppable wrestler. But now, i really doubt it in reality... But hey, he still good looking wrestler anyway, but undefeated? I dont think so. Those matches was scripted that goldberg must win.

  • u think? All wrestling is scripted

  • Hahaha...Lol !!! U got that right!

    I shouldn't doubt about it.

Oh well, i still love watching the techniques thought.

  • the one thing ive known is that wcw really never gave the other superstars a chance to be known in the business, only goldberg and Nwo was famous ,thats why wwf was doing good because they made all the wrestlers show what they got instead of focusing on the big ones all the time like wcw did

  • yeah BUT!!! on wwf 1996-1999 era it was cheap ecw gimmicks that was hardcore, wasnt wrestling ONLY STPORT ENTERTAINMENT! NOT,WELL NEVER BE PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING! you can just make a oung wreaslter (21 yr old) just become a wwe champion or a big star, those old wrestlers had own to become champions took them 5-9years or even more, wwe iof today just nothing but crap and all it well ever be is crap.

  • yeah but that was realistic, and thats not true anyway, billy kidman became BIG in wcw's closing era so was mysterio t an extent and jeff jarrett for a reason ill ever understand

  • GOLDBERG was the MAN back in the day!

  • this was a new streak...it was around 33-0 when it ended...no one is talking about the ORIGINAL streak...you can tell

    1) the thunder song is the last version-not the first

    2) MIA/Thrillers? they weren't teams back in the day...

  • goldberg os over rated

  • when he lost to kevin nash....it was such bullshit, I quit watching wrestling after that

  • This was post-Russo WCW, with Goldberg's new title run to give him something to do. It was ok, his strak ended with Totally Buff retiring him at Sin, if I'm not mistaken.

  • dude dude is that a kid as a security guard

  • how stupid this is 2001 and they say he is 33-0 he was 173-0 in 1999 before losing to Kevin Nash.

  • it was a new streak. get all the facts first

  • why is the ring so small?

  • why did mike tenay refer to goldberg and 176 - 0 being a "long way away" ? Did wcw know they were going to have goldberg win that many matches before he lost to nash? Because he didnt even get to 176 - 0 he got to 173 and 0

  • this video is wrong, mike tenay says goldberg is 33 - 0 and when he lost his first match the kevin nash at starcade 98 he was 173 - 0, therefor, this is incorrect.

  • a winning streak is when you win with no defeats, there fore, his streak started again after that

  • What year did this match take place again? i forgot the year this aired does any one know?

  • read the damn title

  • Hey I didnt see the Damn Fucking Title Asshole

  • BTW for ppl hu are wonderin wer goldbergs gone

hesz retired hesz 2 old 2 perform anymore

hesz concentratin on his actin career

I WISH HE CAME BAK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE BUT

    IT AINT HAPPENIN:(

  • yeah your close. He interviews ufc fighters nowadays. He did lose his weight and muscles, and his incredible condition. He's know and old veteran that still wants to be around with fighters. But the legend continues! My kids will know who bill goldberg was!

  • thats true and he also trains mma with them too i seen it on shoxc.

  • Yeah i saw that he was training with kimbo, or atleast try to train with kimbo. And he got tired very quick. But i don't know if he trains with the other guys also?

  • he actually did do mixed martial arts before wrestling cause i read some of his bio and it said he did he also played football too

  • yeah i knew he was a football player, that's why he used the spear cause he could tackle as no other! But i knew he did or judo or ju jitsu. But didn't knew he still trains with mma fighters

  • I swear their ring was smaller than the usual they had?

  • I miss Goldberg, wish there was at least one big Stone Cold/Goldberg match

  • LOL @ Goldberg jersey 40 bucks my ass

  • el marco corlione jajajajaja!!

cuando empezaba su carrera bueno eso creo

  • man was there an audience??????

  • it wasn't the same like 97-98! They pulled this story line with flair in wwe career on the line if he lost he would leave.

  • that was exactly like 1 ov them matches were they put umaga agenst sum1 like brian kendrick

  • goldberg rulz!!!

  • Bring back WCW!!

  • No, let it die. Bring back Tony Schiavone...lol.

  • why would goldberg need security? or are they there to protect everyone else?

  • lol you know your product is in the shitter when people BARELY cheer for Goldberg during his prime

  • i never know where mark jindrak went after they released him in 2005. i mean back then then tag team division was great. look at it. jindrak and cade, dudleyz, shelton and haas, rosie and hurricane and many others. jindrak's dropkick is the BEST i have ever seen. believe me. better than maven and randy orton's.. him and sean o haire should never have been released.

  • Yeah and your a genius right? Go back to working at McDonalds

  • i can't, i don't work there

  • THANK YOU!!

  • lmao he had more talent than you but not goldberg

  • Its funny that Jindrak actually had more talent than Goldberg

  • Thanks for sharing keep up the good work. FIVE stars!
