I'm staying at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel again next month. I'm been there a dozen times and it never gets old. I always book my room a month in advance for $89, that is cheaper then any other 4 star hotel in Atlanta or Buckhead, and it has the best view. Great video by the way.

Me and a friend of mine flew a Diamond DA40 into ATL back in the spring. We sat on our balcony literally almost all day just watching planes land and take off. It was as constant as it is in the video all day till about 12:00 am or so.

i say the best time to planespot here is around 5pm cuz thats when air france and british airways and such come in there. night would be the best time if it wernt at night.

and early in the morning is really good cuz thats when all the cargo planes come and go.

atlanta is an awesome airport experience, i can remember landing there at dusk and just looking out my window once we were on the ground and no joke, seeing seven other planes lined up in the sky on final approach, just crazy, awesome!

I love Hartsfield International.

I have been there about 12 times. I dont know why but I always take a second glance when I see another airline besides Delta or airtran. Delta, the biggest airline company, owns ATL so it is just funny to see other airline there. They are kind of like the small group of kids at a high school who arent the cool kids. haha

Very cool. I've only flown twice. Once from Dulles to Atlanta in 96 (age 12) and then my 2nd time this year from Atlanta to Chicago (25). I flew on AA just like the one at 2:12.

I love flying though I did get a little startled everytime the plane turned. I kept forgetting that planes don't go in a straight line. Unfortunately both times I had storms and couldn't see a thing except clouds. I really wanted to see the ground.

the reazon why you don't hear much noise is because all or most of the walls at the hotels in this area are made of concret e precast pieces and the windows are sealed, i live in atlanta and worked up there for 1 year and believed me the planes use to lend right above our heads it was very fun

Surprisingly yes. You don't hear a lot at night except for when an md-80 takes off. Those things are loud for there size.
