  • TALKING ABOUT SOME HEAT LOST

  • Kubal är världens bästa fabrik

  • Natural aluminum metal deposits are extremely rare, so for a very long time Aluminum was considered a precious metal. It's more commonly found as an oxide (the oxydated form), and reducing it back to aluminum metal, stripping away the oxygen, requires a MASSIVE amount of energy. Basically you have to go backwards and supply the same amount of energy a thermite reaction produces.

  • :-J Wow, never thought it was so complex to produce and I appreciate more being able to buy some

  • Fucking aluminum how does it work?

  • Aluminium... Fuckin yanks >_>

  • @antichrist65535 It's spelled the same, just pronounced differently.. no one knows how you're saying it. lol

Is it Aloo - minium ?

  • Basically, the Americans are an idle race - as can be seen from how they use the English language.

  • @Factnotfictionpeople ..Z'p wi dat...?

  • IT'S f*cking a-lu-mi-nium NOT alumi-num -

its the ACTUAL internation name of chemical element, you mofos

  • @martinmartiini No one speaks latin anymore, except the god damned pope....so suck on it, bitches!

  • @martinmartiini ..In England and most European countries..it's aluminium...but they don't call ferrous metal 'steelies'..?

  • dodgy

iron smelting is simple - dump ore into smelter (like bessemer) and pour out molten iron

but this .. is hard to comprehend

and why are the humans involved - can't it be automated ??

    and , yes , IT IS a-lu-min-ium NOT alu-mi-num

  • @martinmartiini ..I like to confuse people by calling it refined Bauxite ore...

  • This process varies at different smelters, but is esentially how its done.

  • Meow

  • @Meebman1419. GREAT Idea but with most vehicles using aluminum alloy motors for weight savings it's gonna be awhile considering the auto industries slow transfer of new technologies?!

  • I wonder if there is a gun made of pure aluminum.

  • @n3rdbear Eugene Stoner's AR-15 rifle was designed with aluminum receivers. His original prototype had a barrel made from a thin steel liner pressed into an aluminum sleeve but the Army rejected that barrel in favor of an all steel one.

Stoners first carbine model AR-15, the "CAR-15", had an aluminum butt stock as well as the receivers but the stock has since been replaced with a plastic one.

This was radical stuff back in the late 50s - early 60s...

  • isn't it aluminium? since the brits do say that....or do americans just fail at spelling?

  • @MaxVerhaag Aluminium is a latin derivation....and, very few people speak latin anymore.

  • @FourDollaRacing SHUT IT americanos!

    IT IS a-lu-mi-nium NOT alumi-num

  • @martinmartiini Fuck the pope! We will reform you and the catholic church and start molesting little girls, instead of little boys! You sick fuck....

  • @MaxVerhaag The English language was not standardized until the mid 18th century. Canadian, Australian, New Zealander & American English all have their deviations in spelling and pronunciations from the British.

I would expect a person from the Netherlands, whose region is comprised of Flemish & Dutch & maybe a little Walloon, to appreciate the variety of dialects found in any one language.

Am I expecting too much of you ?

  • wow, aluminum is probably the base ingredient for metal making in 'thatsmynamedude"'s vids

  • I didn't work for anyone, it was done in free time in the interests of science. No sponsorship or conspiracies there...

As i said, Your point is invalid without evidence to back it up, otherwise we'd have to believe any person who comes up with some idea, like aliens on the moon!

  • you ladies quite done arguing??

  • i turned this off cos I got fed up with the daft pronounciation "Aloominum" Tell me do you also say "So-dum, Heel-um, Potass-um etc" as well?

  • AL~U~Min~um

  • al-you-min-ium!!!

  • Iron is the most abundant element, the earth has an iron core about the size of the moon.

  • @bombarderoazul The most abundant element in the earth's crust is oxygen, making up 46.6% of the earth's mass. Silicon is the second most abundant element (27.7%), followed by aluminum (8.1%), iron (5.0%)

  • @bombarderoazul The inner core is made of a Nickel-iron alloy with some gold and other metals mixed in, Not Pure Iron.

  • 2:45 Treadmill time

  • hi people

  • @TheFckya

    ╚(•⌂•)╝ FUCK U NIEK

  • LOL This Guy can't say aluminium

  • "The worlds most abundant metallic element"

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That would be... IRON with 1090ppm of the earth, NOT aluminium wich is 58ppm.

  • @Serostern O!

  • @Serostern Wrong! If you count Earth as a whole, iron makes up about half of earth's mass.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg Yes. Wich makes iron the most abundent.

  • @Serostern I am sure he is referring to the crust seeing as we can't drill into the iron core of the earth. A quick search verifies that al is the most abundant metal.

  • @BBCNeverLies But he failed to specify that it was in the crust.

If he said "Aluminium is the most abundent metal in the crust of the earth" I would have ben fine.

  • Ever wonder where the Fluoride that goes in the drinking water comes from? It's from Aluminium processing.

  • @zforce69 thats bullshit and you know it, the flourides are added during water treatment to clean the water and prevent stagnation. when the flourine is added it is usually in the form of sulphur hexaflouride

  • @copiga Try google some time, try and educate yourself, you just sound retarded otherwise. Sulfur hexafluoride is a gas, Hydrofluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) is one of the most commonly chosen chemical used to fluoridate public water supplies.

  • @zforce69 the problem with google is that conspiracies come up in wiki just like the facts do so today's kids are lost. I respect what you said as a general statement. I wonder why people take the time to type a question here when if done in a google browser would yield a much better result. Meh... kids

  • aghhh t1000!

  • pfft its pronounced and said aluminium aluminum is an americanisation

  • I'd hate to see that company's electrical bill

  • I'm glad other people thought these things out or i'd still be living in a cave...

  • @TheGodParticle Why were you living in a cave?

  • @wiredforstereo I meant if i could live for ten thousand years i still wouldn't figure out how to mine and produce this metal. I do though know all about beer making, and in my books thats all you need to know in life. Cheers

  • check your inbox. but the short answer is.. all Metals rust with age. yes even stainless steel over time rust. but Aluminum Oxidize.

  • @whatitdodracula 1st: Aluminum is a metal

2nd: All metals oxidize so iron does and aluminum too. If iron oxidizes, it becomes what we call rust, but it's nothing else than iron-oxide.

  • @SmokyMcPot007 gold doesn't oxidise :/

  • @SmokyMcPot007 ..Yes..I ran a welding shop once..guys come in with something broken, and ask...Is this aluminum, or is it metal..?

  • Aluminum doesn't oxidize readily, there's a massive potential energy barrier that keeps it from reacting, unless it's heated up and kept in contact with an oxidizing agent.

Thermite works using aluminum power and iron oxide (rust) because aluminum oxide is actually lower in energy than iron oxide, so the oxide exchange reaction is favorable (highly exothermic) leading to molten iron as a product. You still need 600+ degrees celcius to start the reaction though.

  • @whatitdodracula Not necessarily, first you have to define what is rust. All metals do corrode, however the product of that corrosion is not always the same. What differs aluminium from other metals is that the product of the corrosion, Al2O3 (Alumina) adheres strongly to the aluminium's surface protecting it from further reaction.

  • aluminum is not a metal.

  • @whatitdodracula Can you explain please? I googled what you said and came up with nothing to support your statement.

  • @NapsterMDS Yes, it strengthens your teeth. But certain forms of fluorine can be poisonous, just like certain forms of nitrogen (which makes up 70% of the air you breath) - cyanide is just nitrogen bonded with carbon, both of these elements are required to carry out respiration and live.

So in reply to your comment- Lets confront the people that use science to try and lower our dental costs! How dare they automatically try and make our health improve!

  • @mrspacee Actually sir your wrong! Thats what they tell you, they have to say something to make you feel protected and trust them, and obviously you do! I know from much research and working with medication that flouride (all the same, no difference in chemical compound) between that which is used in medication and water. The pill prozac which resulted in hundreds of thousands of unpublished but documented deaths and mental illnesses is 94% chemical flouride.

  • @mrspacee ...to continue, think that a 20mg tablet a day (of flouride/prozac/fluoxitine name it what you will) that most clients take is used for severe depression and anxiety and because of the suicides from it. You drink 0.3mg on average per liter of water. This stuff doesnt leave your body, YOUR BEING MEDICATED to KEEP CALM AND HYPNOTICALLY RELAXED! Learn the facts and stop following your TV and news shepards!

  • @Mandoon You my friend, can research all you like, without knowledge of the science behind it it is useless. I am frankly sick of anyone reading from Wikipedia thinking they understand it, most of the articles are written by people who have studied the subject for years, reading it for 5 minutes will not give you the years of prior knowledge required for understanding the science behind the article.

    ...

  • @mrspacee You're error comes from thinking that I am getting anything from wiki. They are nothing to follow. I have gained my knowledge through reading many documents, listening to many doctors, politicians (those who arnt criminal which are very few by the seems of things) and reading the ingredients list on pharmaceuticals! Flouride is a waste product and has been used to make money (20,000% retail markup to be exact) which before cost money to dipose of.

  • @Mandoon Prozac for example is NOT 94% flouride; if you actually want the facts its IUPAC name is" N-methyl-3-phenyl-3-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]propan-1-amine" or from the old synthesis method the hydrochloric derivitive of fluoxetine, fluoxetine-hydrochloride. it has 3 fluorine atoms on it, less than 10% fluorine. That is just for starters, Fluoride is the ionized version of fluorine, when the atoms are dissociated from the main molecule, such as in the salt sodium fluoride.

    ...

  • @mrspacee Take silver ions, dissacotiated from its original colloid but still silver and sill of the same type. In essence it is the same meterial in a different form. Doesnt matter how exotic the name. Look at the complexity of which the name you describe. I am no longer debating, my truth is that these things are addictive, hallucinogenic and destructive. There is conclusive evidence to SHOW that these things are deadly! Its called soft killing, takes time!

  • @mrspacee They get away with it because we think its ok, the big corps tell us it is so it must be huh. They have never done anything wrong or ever lied before have they? FACTS: 1. A eugenicist (cause of holocaust) created the first mental institite. 2. Miracle cures moved from electricution (discovered by pig farmer) all the way to meds(final stop), all said to be new cure, all found inhumane! Now we are to believe meds like prozac help. 3. NO scientific evidence of chemical imbalance! RESEARCH

  • @Mandoon I agree they make more money than they should, and science isn't about believing, its about observing results and seeing if they match predictions. We don't believe prozac inhibits an enzyme, we've seen it! saying that that isn't reputable evidence is like saying the keyboard in front of you doesn't work like we see it working.

My argument isn't with your political agenda but your misuse of science to aid in it, much like the governments you and many others aren't happy with.

  • @Mandoon Please mail me any relevant research on this subject, as published by any scientific journal and based on experimental evidence (otherwise you could pull up a website of someone opinions stated as facts with no basis for truth) and i will happily end this argument now and admit that my prior knowledge on the subject was incomplete and factually flawed.

  • @Mandoon In the molecule in Prozac, the fluorine does not disassociate to form this ion, it is the complex 3D structure of the whole molecule, that is carbons, hydrogens, nitrogens and fluorines, that fits into a specific biological molecule to inhibit its functions, i.e producing hormones related to depression. So please refrain from incorrectly quoting facts without knowledge of their scientific origins. It is people like you that ruin the world for others, I hope you have learned something!

  • @mrspacee There is a group called CCHR who have helped to close nearly all the mental homes in japan. I mention that because it is a great success! You repeat the junk money grabbers give you as you know nothing else. I am not attacking you but you are inhibiting real knowledge to others in your attempt to try and do the same. Research that and get back to me! We have taken pharma groups to court for humanity crimes, all from medication, named the miracle cure! No better than electricution! FOOL

  • @Mandoon Making money is the foundation of capitalism and the pharmaceutical company's that supply the drugs. my problem is not with the wiki but the understanding, If you want to know something scientific go to a scientist and not a politician! they know nothing of synthesis or the action of drugs on organisms. the action of silver ions in a colloid is completely different to that of a molecule such as Prozac, demonstrating a basic diregard of the science behid your argument, i give up on you.

  • @mrspacee First you have no idea what your talking about, you dont know what the differences are between substances, you just copied those names from a website. I have done REAL research, and have been luck enough to be part of world leading groups to help humanity. Meds dont help humanity! Like I said, forst electricution, then lobotomy that cause 1 MILLION brain damaged people in america alone, then came meds, the idea behind chemical imbalance is a fraud to sell it to the FDA and Gov, PROVEN!

  • @Mandoon Saying PROVEN on youtube doesn't hold as proof, please give some reputable research from known scientists as proof or anyone reading this conversation will not believe your point.

Don't get me wrong, I dislike government tactics as well, but not as much as I dislike the use of misinformation and science in what so far appears to be a conspiracy theory

  • @Mandoon I'm going to have to disagree with you there, i've studied chemistry for 2 years now, with one year biology, and having already had one paper published on the action of other pharmaceuticals. So i think i'm quite secure in saying that i know what i'm talking about in great detail. Your accusations are avoiding my calls for evidence, in my paper on drug delivery systems to cancer cells i clearly stated many, over 20 infact, experiments and trials to back up what i was saying,

  • @mrspacee Who did you work for during these experiments?

  • @mrspacee And yes, capatilism is no high ground to stand on sunny jim! very few synthasis of dangerous chemicals remain inert to the physical body, they would require high amounts of manipulation with possible others to become a new compound, they dont do that with these chemicals. You giving up is a sign of having nothing else to say, in the way of YOU HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY! Now you will most likely be agered and feel threatened, want to attack back but read this, feel struck and...then what

  • @Mandoon I gave up because the very fact you refuse to accept the science behind my claims shows more unwilling to change your opinions based on facts and more changing the facts to fit your opinion.

"high amounts of manipulation" i assume you mean a large series of reactions, but i don't see what that has to do with your argument, Prozac only lasts in the body for 4-6 days if i remember correctly, and that's after being taken regularly, one off ingestions last for less time.

  • @NapsterMDS flouride is poisonous and so is typhoid id rather have a bit of flouride than typhoid go kill youself tree hugger

  • @MUJAHIDEEN7860

They don't pour typhoid into our water, now do they?

  • @NapsterMDS You wanna know another thing that is poisonous when overdosed? - NaCl. horrible chemical.

And it's likely someone you know payd a great deal of money for BotulinumTOXIN injections, eh?

It does strenghten your teeth. And it isnt enough to be dangerous, or even approaching dangerous, even if you drink an entire bathtub per day.

  • It's called aluminium :-)

  • @TheJochumsen Actually, it's spelled both ways. :)
