  • fucking bastards

  • so sick and sad/I,m just wondering if sum one rescued the little calf .how could any one push a calf in that state into a sale ring in that state(SHAME ON YOU),it would make me cry if id seen that in person.Yer don,t see it in the uk .

  • i am from san antonio and they really dont give them water because they are going to be sold and slaughterd

  • @ihatebabycows hey and do the world a favor and ear one of those.razor tomatoes while your at it...n hey dont forget to record it while you do:)

  • One thing my family and you have in common is that we won't stand for animal cruelity. Some guy abuses thier animal, I would intervene. But this is not cruelity. Ask a animal expert like your local vet what cruelity is. Yes, even the vet that goes to dairy to those dairy's. They are advocates for animals and they know that it isn't cruelity.

  • I do come from a family that loves animals. My dad is a large animal vet and my mom works at a local zoo. I know the animal industry a little bit more than you and it's not cruelity. You are giving a bais view that give farmers and dairymen a bad name. I know a lot of dairymen and they are the kindest people I have met and they want the best for their animals. You say that what they are doing is unjustice. What unjustice are you giving them? Quite a lot actually and I don't respect that.

  • And doing so you are trying to dictate what people think. It is all opinion but you try to stretch it so far that you make other people think it's a fact and that is wrong. I'm okay with vegans and that's not my problem. I think it's a great discipline to follow but if this is why someone is vegan than it's just foolish.

But there is two sides to every story.

  • @Remolfm - I shot this video and those were images captured during a four days in Texas so these are NOT isolated incidences. We're showing the truth and compared to other undercover video shot by my colleagues, this is mild. No one is telling you what to do or what to eat - but people the majority of people who do consume animal products never see how these animals live and die before making their way to the dinner table and that is shameful.

  • @jennybrownwfas What I am saying is that there is two sides of the story and you have to emphasize on one. It is not cruel to shot a cow in the head with a shotgun when the animal is in pain. It is more humane than you think. If they got to the slaughter house and the animial is getting shot in the leg or some nonvital organs and leaving them to rot, yes that is cruelity but these guys arent doing that are they. and It's funny how you shot the "We are not responisble for crippled animals".

  • Do you know how animals go to a stockyard? The owners sell the sick cows to the stockyard to be slaughtered. It is truthfully not the stockyards fault that they are in those condition. But you still try to sell the idea that stockyards are bad when they are actually not doing anything bad. Hell, think of the stockyards as a hospice like situation. They are gonna die anyway. They are trying to be humane by slaughtering them in a minimally painfull way. It's not inhumane.

  • Thats retarded. Shit I know more about the dairy industry than you. You are picking the worst possible thing (which 99% stockyards, dairies, etc don't do) and you over dramatize it. I've grown up with livestock and other farm animals for 20 years and I have NEVER seen something like this in my life. You are telling just one side of the story for God's sake. IT IS NOT cruelity at all. You are the one being cruel. You don't like something so you have to tell people (by propaganda) that you're right

  • what were they doing to the goat? taping its legs? why?

    argh those poor animals

  • that people pissssssssssss offffffffffffffffffffff sshitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • well since Texas are the republiscums 's state .. what do you expect..

  • Out of all this, shit. I could not bare to watch future, after the calf with brocken-leg.Poor thing. How could you do that. These calves are born, ripped away from their mothers side, not to drink her milk.End up being sold to this hell-house without any medical help. How could you Thats against the rules, but yet, rules are not being followed anywhere in these auctions, nor for horses, nor for any livestock.I,d beat the living-lites out of that so-called person for hurting this calf then selling

  • This makes me want to buy all the sick and injured animals and take care of them. I know i never will be able to afford it, but I cannot explain the amount of anger this gives me.

  • beef its whats for dinner... lol love my bean and beef buritos

  • Its so sad Because No animal deserves to be treated like that.. Cows,Horses,Pigs Nd other animals execpt for cats N dogs are defensless.. Im supposing They Dont realize is thats an animal They Dont deserve To be in the heat(iLive in tx it can get hot) or be draggged or have un treated wounds..Im asuming they dnt realize that they feel pain like we do.. Im A Vegan Btw[:

  • @vcl73 if you're vegan.. then why the fuck are you coming here to watch that video? lol

  • this is sick. how can people be so heartless? :(

  • so cruel!

  • Thank god you don,t see this in UK markets!!

  • you guys know what the sad thing is? that all ppl who are against this are not doing anything, yea its all "omg poor things" and its the truth they dont deserver it but tell me... are you gonna do something about it after this video is over? or are you just gonna watch virtualy the same video going all "omg on them" until you'r bored? srry to say but this world is too divided to do anything about it... and its gonna keep on going

  • Fuck all industries who do this.. I love when people say how these animals are so dangerous but look at what we a doing to them!! Go nature!

  • I started crying at 2:30 when I saw that calf with his obviously broken leg. The other images were powerful as well, but I just couldn't stand seeing that poor calf like that.

  • And thus is the end of the nightmare world of animal abuse on factory farms. Even meat eaters should be appalled at this. The stockyards are filled with men who don't give a damn about a single animal there; to them they are just products to be bought and sold.

This is what consuming animal products produces.

    Think about it.

  • @WoodstockSanctuary it's not only youtube.

you ppl with your propaganda are everywhere

the only thing I will say to you is:

    Eating meat in instinct

not eating meat is a decision.

and that is yours and yours alone.

dont force your belief/decision on to others,

that makes you as bad as jehovas witnesses

or any other bs religion for that matter...

  • Grognaz, no one is trying to tell you not to eat meat. In fact your right, we as humans are made to eat both plants as well as meat. However, what this video is depicting is the cruelty that these animals undergo as "our" food. It is the way that we treat animals while we are raising them, that's the problem. The word "Humane" derived from the word "human" is defined as kindness, mercy, or compassion. However we as so called humans aren't exactly living up to that definition.

  • im a farmer in england and been to market many times... i have NEVER seen such appauling treatment of animals. its an abomination. financially putting up some tarps to cool the animals would benefit them through a decrease in weak and dead animals. therefore they would end up making more money. employment of a few wardens to check welfare would have little effect on profits. this is not farming this is factory production.

  • Hihetetlen mennyi gazember van a világon...

  • can anyone tell me why they were duct taping that goats legs together?

  • so it can get up or struggle in the back of the truck i assume

  • @ifellintopeices So it can't move.

  • animal holocaust

  • As soon as this vid started I could feel the fear and despair those animals felt. This world is so f*cked up because of the love of money and it's the poor animals that pay the price. Animals are not property, they are living earthlings that deserve to be left to live their lives as nature intended.

  • the more i watched this video the more angry i got. theres a sale barn a few counties over that is almost like this, but the pens are more disgusting. they are only horse and goats, sheep and cattle, but they hold exotic sales too. they are so crude and inhumane to the goats a sheep. it just angers me so much! ive never seen a dead goat there, but close to it! broken legs, the smell of death. sickly creatures and nobody caring. it just makes me want to do what you did, record it. >:(

  • This video is sad. I look around me in the ghetto, where I live. I see all these fat people fat from eating hormone enhanced meat. The greed of the meat industry is even more on display here.

  • Actually, those people are fat because they are lazy and eat snack cakes. Not because of meat.

And in the beginning, the date of the video is pretty old so yea dont believe everything you see on propaganda videos.

  • Whilw we keep eating meat this is what happens...we are all guilty including myself.

  • im sorry but this doesnt happen in britain. we have laws against it and we pay taxes so it doesnt happen.

  • emilyelizabeth...: That's where mad cow started.

  • Everywhere in the world, whn it comes to meat indstry, the trtmnt of animals r the same. Very cruel & inhumane. We in India had a high regards on western countrymen in evryway. We thot animals meant for meat wl b treatd vry humane & wth respct, But it is apparent tht these western countries are no gud than our countrymen. They are the same everywhere. What makes them to have so much hatred on farm animals

  • the people who invented slaughter farms are the same type of people who invented the concentration camps in WW2

  • n8tivguitar

You mean highly educated GOV employed doctors?

  • i think they called them highly educated Reich employed doctors

  • n8tivguitar

The Death Camp system was thought out by some of the smartest men in the Reich

  • Dear '"god". This is so horrific and unnecessary. Texans have much to learn about animal welfare. THere is no excuse for this, anywhere. Texas is also home to 500 canned hunting "preserves" where you can kill any animal species you like in a pen for a price. No wonder G.W. Bush was braindead.

  • fishmarc

Didn't Bush take on Saddam who himself owned several canned hunting preserves?

  • Culture must come to grips that the very same treatment of cat/dogs would violate every "humane" law we have. The cows, goats and sheep have absoultely no less sentients or "rights" to be given a decent life than cats or dogs. You wouldn't put your puppy or kitty through this.... you wouldn't eat your dog or cat either. A plant based diet is the solution to this moral disconnect between animals and "food" animals. They are all the same. Go Vegan.

  • yes you are so right! the poor pregnant goat going to slaughter?! and the calf w/ the broken leg, man! and those two guys handling that one goat, for gods sake , either one of them could have carried it, I am a dog groomer and can lift up to 70lbs@ i am only 4'11. right on go vegan, and buy american,do not support chinese dog@cat slaughter, or any of their cheap stuff-- that could come with all kinds of bacteria, new super germs, and viruses!!!!!!!!

  • This is where you are wrong. These are farm animals. Used for thousands of years to feed human beings. Though they should be treated with respect and humanely, their ultimate purpose is as a food source for us. This is a fact, this is the way it is, and the way it will always be. (dont think so? check how beef exports and consumption rise every yer)

  • okay sure that is wrong... more than wrong. It's disgusting but you've got to understand that not all farms are like this. I help on a farm where they kill all their animals too feed their family.... now each and every one of those animals have led a full healthy life.... they've been treated well and allowed to roam around. Humans need meat in their diet, yes it can be obtained from nuts etc but not as much as meat contains.... is it bad to eat mear? no, as long as the animal is treated well

  • so very sad

  • MANS DEATH

  • these people really dont give a fuck.. they see it as meat, not as living things

Did anyone notice that none of the animals had acces to water??

  • At sale barns, animals are usually kept in these holding pens for just a few hours. Long enough to be sold and purchased, then are sent back to water and feed accessable pens until the new owner picks them up. I'm sure starvation and what not happens, but its definatly not the norm.

  • thats so wrong.. think ur self as that animal..

  • The goat thing wasnt that bad,the old man dosent have a trailer, its like being taken to jail...

  • yep

  • "Auschwitz begins whenever someone looks at a slaughterhouse and thinks: they're just animals." - Theodor Adorno Holocaust survivor and Jewish philosopher
