Kanawha Blvd was a much better drive before the governor fucked it up. You could drive all the way along the river when I was a kid. Now you gotta go around the capitol bdg.
When I was a kid you could drive all the way down kanawha Blvd, pass the Capitol, go left on Jefferson to Washington and then right to the bridge and Kanawha City. It was a nice cruise.

you can go from patrick street all the way to the entrance to I-64. you dont have to go around the capitol
