That was a poor argument. The Wii is not how a shooter is meant to be played; take a look at metroid prime 3. It was alright, but still even the old "lock on and tap A" it was better, and it still gets raped by a mouse or even analog sticks.

Plus, any Halo game is infinitely better than the whole Wii arsenal of shovelware, which is why after a year of owning only 3 games on my Wii, I sold it and bought a 360, then a PS3; The best move I ever made.

No, I am suggesting that because the Wii has a poorly implemented, gimmicky (for the most part) and unresponsive system. That is why it is not superior. Don't get me wrong, the remote does give a helping hand to some portions of a first person shooter, mainly on a small-movement accuracy base, but it fails hugely when you are forced to abandon your aim to turn around; its useless for anything where you don't need to sodding turn your player and have to aim at a static board (e.g duck hunt).

I owned a Wii for a year before selling.

And I didn't say aiming with the Wii remote sucks, I said that it doesn't work well when you need to turn; having to move the cursor to the edge of the screen is a chore and it screws up your aim. It feels sluggish compared to the electricity of a mouse. If this wasn't a problem I would probably prefer this to analog sticks even, but I just don't.

Of course it's not as good as a mouse.. But for the FPS games like Metroid Prime, MOH:H2, CoD:WaW and the Conduit--you can configure the controls--i.e. edit turning speed, make deadzone bigger or smaller.
