you can have a vocals reducer, but that'll just get you a shittier overall quality

there's really no definite way of removing the vocals, or any track for that matter, without possession of the actual master recording

But I never said Marcus was no good. Just a matter of funkiness ...some great players do have that virtuosity in the first place thing that makes them a bit boring (to me) once you get past the technique flash (Patitucci, Pastorious, Wooten, Clarke...) and there are the funky groovers who put The Groove in the first place before trying to be flashy (Bernard Edwards, MéShell Ndégéocello, Flea, Les Claypool, Francis Rocco Prestia, Jah Wobble, Robbie Shakespeare etc...)
